    Fried Mandus

Tried a new one! This is my first time here so I went with the recommended CURRY RAMEN with the egg boiled instead of mixed in. I also got to try the FRIEND MANDUS with the HOUSE SOY SAUCE. The soy sauce was such a winner that I asked for more just to put in my ramen and I took some home! The ramen was packed out and pretty good but I did have to season it up a little to my liking (hence the soy sauce). The staff was attentive and the ambiance gave a "neighborhood" feel that real Memphians could appreciate. I'll be back!

The Crazy Noodle is a must stop whenever we are in town. It has such a good variety of dishes that are a very good price for how much you get. The only downside is the food takes a little bit longer than most places so be prepared for a little longer wait but it's worth it!! The Mandu ramen is my go to but I've never gotten anything I'm unhappy with on the menu! Definitely the best ramen in Memphis!

So this was my first time trying crazy noodle. I like dumplings and seeing they had a ramen with it I just had to try it. It was gif but honestly I wish it had more seasoning to the broth. I added spicy paste to it but it wasn't as seasoned as is like it to be But id definitely recommend an would go back to try more

This is such a hidden gem. I literally love visiting Crazy Noodle because I've never had anything I don't like. I like that everything taste so fresh and the flavor is always present. The service never disappoints and it's such a cute little place. You might walk right pass it and not notice it but when you do, you will be glad you did.

    Seafood Pancake and Beef Japchae.
    Moon N.

I ordered online at 5:31PM and was told my order would be ready at 6:48PM. I got to the restaurant at 6:50PM and my food was done at 7:15PM. So, it took almost 2 hours for a pancake and a japchae. I understand restaurants are sometimes busy and understaffed. In this situation, they were not busy, but definitely understaffed. Only 1 guy takes order, serves, and packs. I saw 3 people in the kitchen. However, the fact that it took approx. 2 hours to finish an order of 2 items is ridiculous. The pancake was good. Nonetheless, the japchae is $12.99 originally with no protein. Added $3 for beef or other kinds of meat. Total of $15.99 before tax and I can barely find beef in the box, unfortunately. My first time trying the Crazy Noodles and definitely the last time. Yelp's reviews had fooled me.

So much deliciousness! I'm loving trying new dishes here. I'd really like to experience the actual restaurant but so far I've only gotten carry-out. The food is great but I will admit that it takes quite a while to get an order after placing it. Each time I've been quoted 35-40 min and it's taken longer than that. It obviously hasn't deterred me but it doesn't work well when you're looking for a quicker dinner option. I really loved the Crazy Bibimbap Noodle.

    Veggies!

So good we ate here twice in a one week visit to Memphis. Kea was our waitress both times - she was funny and sweet and went above and beyond. Can not say enough about this place!

Anything they have can be made vegan! I love the spicy Vrgan mandu Ramen, but be sure to state vegan whenever you order Anything vegan.

Bi Bim Ramen is my fave & it's soooo yummy! I like medium heat; spicy is good too. This place is very causal nothing too fancy but the perfect spot to get some tasty food. Not a lot of space rather small & warm in front but still a must try. I love small restaurants like this just right for bite to eat.

The interior design is super cool, with a modern, tech-inspired theme. The QR code ordering system is very convenient, and I really love the cat robot that delivers the food. Very cute and fun experience! Most of the side dishes at the side dish bar are consistently tasty. Their hot pot is also nice, and the tomato broth is definitely my favorite. It's flavorful without being too heavy. (Personally, I prefer the Cordova location over the East Memphis one.) Small tip: any sauces or dishes with "901" in the name are definitely worth trying!

Oh yeah soup bases, I feel like whatever hodge podge I made up myself was better than the bases I've tried so far. I just didn't like teh Szechuan spicy or the Healthy Herb bases so I will definitely stick to Original next time and just add a bunch of stuff I like. We went for lunch, let him guide the way, and ate everything family style (they serve individual platters, but he wanted us to have the full Korean experience and be able to sample many things too!) Everything was delicious. The portions were big, food was seasoned well, and our server was very attentive - keeping us informed of the slight kitchen delay due to a large party ahead of us. After lunch, we popped over to the Asiana market for Korean ice cream bars, which were also delicious! (Apologies in advance for the low quality photos - I had to snap fast before everyone dug in!)

The parking lot is shared with other businesses in the strip (with Asiana Market, a Korean grocery store, located at the far left). There are plenty of spaces available in the private lot. Upon entering the restaurant, the main hostess, who may also be the owner, is straight ahead. There are approximately 12 tables in the main dining room, along with a larger room to the left that offers additional seating. FOOD: 1. Pork Dupbap Lunch Special (4/5): If you've tried beef bulgogi, this is similar but made with spiced pork. You really can't go wrong with this dish. 2. Spicy Rice Cake (Tteokbokki, 4/5): I'm usually picky with tteokbokki because many restaurants make it too sweet or lacking in flavor. This version was one of the better restaurant renditions I've had. A classic Korean street and comfort food, it consists of spicy-sweet rice cakes with fish cake, cabbage, and scallions. I would definitely order this again. Best shared between 2-3 people. 3. Seafood Soon Dubu (Soft Tofu Stew, 4/5): A spicy, well-seasoned stew made with silky soft tofu, vegetables, and seafood. This is especially comforting during the cold winter season. I highly recommend ordering one of the soups when it's cold out. The portion was generous, as I took half home. 4. Yangnyeom Korean Fried Chicken (New KFC; not on the original menu, 3/5): Ten pieces of boneless chicken served with pickled daikon radish. The sauce was a sweet chili blend. While flavorful, it lacked the extra crispiness typically found in Korean fried chicken. 5. Seafood Pancake (Haemul Pajeon, 4/5): One of our favorites. This version featured shrimp and squid, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. It was served hot with a tangy dipping sauce made from soy sauce and rice vinegar. Best shared between 2-3 people. 6. Kimchi Fried Rice (3/5): A popular dish made with kimchi, rice, and diced vegetables, often with meat such as Spam. This version did not include meat but was topped with a runny egg for protein and garnished with dried seaweed flakes. Best shared between 2-3 people. 7. Japchae (Stir-Fried Glass Noodles, 3/5): A popular Korean appetizer, often served as a side dish (banchan). Typically stir-fried with vegetables and beef, this version was served in a slightly sweet broth, which differed from the traditional preparation. Best shared between 2-3 people. The service was good. Our water glasses were never empty, and the staff checked on us twice during our meal. Would I come back? Yes. Be sure to check out the lunch specials.

We saw a few tables exit and how would she even know if no one is hosting the stand? She literally had her back to everything. We felt trapped as 15, 20, 30, 45 minutes went by. After an hour we were finally seated. It was that horrible experience of not knowing if we should leave or if we had already invested so much time, surely we would be the next person called? I wish the hostess would've told the truth about the wait. It was only after patrons that came in behind us started to rightfully become upset, suddenly there was a host of people at the stand and tables were getting cleared. After an hour, we were finally seated in the very back of the restaurant and it took another 5 to 7 minutes before someone came over and acknowledged us. The salad bar area where you can make your sauce was missing half of the ingredients and absolutely no attempts were being made to refill the station. Items were left off of our order and we had to ask for them to be brought out. Saw a lot of employees standing around on their phones behind the salad bar station near the bathrooms in the kitchen. The first half of my corn dog was just cheese, then I found the beef, but the cheese was not with the beef. So it was a half and half. I would have liked for the beef to be longer and the cheese to be in with the beef. Nonetheless, the taste was great. Crunchy and great flavor. The sugar on top was interestingly good with it. The other item I got was the vegetable egg roll. I would have rather got the chicken, but they were out. It was a decent egg roll.
