    Eggs Benedict
    Shane M.

Mixed feelings about this one. The location, atmosphere and customer service were all fantastic. The Eggs Benedict were subpar at best. The deep-fried French toast were amazing though. Next time I'm in the area I'll have to try the pancakes before rendering a final verdict.

This is my NEW go to for Breakfast in the New Britain/Plainville area!! This is the second time we've visited the Crazy Pancake and the food is amazing and they don't skimp on quantity. The staff and owners make you feel at home and joke with the patrons. The mood is very light and friendly. I ordered a steak breakfast wrap with home fries this time. Everything was so good. I am looking forward to going back for the Strawberry cheesecake pancakes when I want something sweet! Definitely give them a try if you haven't.

My brunch bestie and I had breakfast at The Crazy Pancake recently and we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I ordered the 3 pancake stack with home fries and bacon. Simple, but delightful. There was plenty of butter and syrup on the table to add at will to my stack. My friend got the Oreo pancakes, which looked amazing. Coffee was flowing nonstop and there was no rush to leave. The bathroom was also clean and roomy. We will return!

Two sausage to bacon home fries fruit eggs pancakes and French toast

This place was delicious I got two pancakes two French toast two bacon two sausage home fries and a fruit cup for $12.99. that only was it a great price for the amount of food I got because it was a lot of food but it came out very hot and absolutely delicious The food took a little bit long to come out but it came out hot fresh and really delicious which made the wait worthwhile. They have two separate rooms and one you can rent out for occasions which is really cool.

I had no idea this place was in the Plainville area until a friend suggested it as a place to meet for breakfast date. It definitely did not disappoint. It is a lot larger on the inside than it appears from outside. There were 3 separate dining areas and definitely room for large parties or families. The menu had plenty of options to choose from. I chose one of the specialty pancakes- the oreo pancake with 2 protein sides and it definitely could have been shared. Service was great and quick. The staff made frequent check in to make sure my coffee was topped off which I appreciated. I also appreciated that although it was pretty busy at times I could actually have a conversation with my friend because it was not unbearably loud. I also appreciate a restaurant that has free parking located near by. There is street parking outside that has a 1 hr limit during business hours (9-6) and private lot in back of the building. Definitely worth coming back again for breakfast.

It looked really good and she mentioned her friend always got the buffalo chicken baked potato so I got that. Potato was a bit undercooked, basic buffalo sauce and a couple of frozen chicken fingers. It was topped with cheddar and sour cream - some blue cheese in there would have been nice. I wouldn't order this dish again. My son had the Mac and cheese which was good. Both my wife and daughter got the chicken penne vodka which was really really good. My son loved, even if he was a bit scared of, the cupcake with the sparkler. Would definitely come back, just ordering something different next time. Other people's burgers looked great.

The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. They were great! Fina's Kitchen was a real gem, hidden among an industrial area and catering to the local businesses. It was a great find!

I feel the need to leave this review here now just in case I forget to leave a actual proper long review. This is our third time, a humble looking joint so we come here always just expecting it's going to be " meh". But we keep coming back, collecting calories around our waist because everything is so good here! Service - always awesome. Everyone here looks like they work cohesively, everyone is smiling working hard . Coffees always refilled. Food- fantastic, always fresh, on point. This time I got an omelette with tomatoes and this is the first time I had an omelet where the tomatoes don't get mushy. Their hash browns are also amazing! ... while we like the shredded we LOVE the fried- like mini French fries. While all of their proteins are awesome - their turkey bacon deserves a special shout out because it often misses the mark at most places.. but not here . And then there are the little things - clean bathrooms, condiments on the table are clean and not sticky or gross !! Anyway, come here.

Greeted warmly by our server, the coffee was served and it was fresh and delicious. I drink mine in black and I could taste the flavors. Some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. Diner style and delicious. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. The egg was perfectly fried, along with the white American cheese, and tasteful bacon. Unfortunately, the bacon missed the mark, as it wasn't crispy. It was soggy. And the English muffin was very small and un toasted. It seemed to me like it was microwaved. How can you not toast an English muffin? So the sandwich itself was not solid whatsoever. But looking around at the breakfast platters, they look delicious and all of my friends seem to enjoy what they ordered. So just a quick note to the owners and the chef and the cooks, toast, the damn English muffin, please! Crispy bacon would be nothing out of the ordinary to ask This place is solid, looking around at the different orders for breakfast, I look forward to returning again and giving it another shot

I actually had no idea this was also a tavern/bar. The Plainville location of Rebel Dog was very busy today, they had trivia going on. I first got their Salted Caramel Toffee Latte. This was as expected pretty sweet, but still solid. We got the garlic flatbread to share. This garlic bread was very pouffy and cheesy, but it lacked garlic. The arugula salad was very light and fresh, it had crispy almonds and chickpeas all over. I got the Winter Chili Grain Bowl. This was very satisfying on a winter day. The chili was tender and offered just a bit of heat. The corn on it was crunchy, there was a small scoop of a grainy salad and some fresh avocado. Overall we were all satisfied with our visit at Rebel Dog. I thought it was a bit odd that they close at 4:00 o'clock everyday.
