Arriving in Denver starving and my aunt took me to the delectable egg and I have to say it was very good. The food was favorable, the service was on point, we never went unattended and the place was as quiet with a steady stream of people. It was clean and I could definitely see if this was closer to home. It would be a spot me and my girls crashed often for breakfast. I left the place satisfied and made sure to tell the other members of my team to check out when they arrived. They enjoyed it as well.

I ordered avocado toast, fruit and a water to go from the downtown Delectable Egg location. The toast was very bland and the bread was pretty soft which also took away from the experience. I didn't even finish it. The fruit was very fresh. The service was pleasant when I put in my order and it did come out pretty quickly. From what I could see the restaurant was also pretty busy for a weekday morning.

Great place for breakfast. Huge portions and a few vegan options. I would definitely go again. The decor reminded me of the American Legion in my rural hometown. I think it was the wall to wall carpet, wood paneling, and the guy using a manual sweeper to pick up crumbs. Delightful.

We visited the Delectable Egg while in town for a conference. Our server, Nicole, was excellent! She was polite, professional, efficient, and simply on top of everything. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to address food allergy questions well. Most of us figured, when in Denver.........So we ordered the Denver omelets. The one person who didn't ordered simple bacon and eggs. The one Denver omelet that was a special order for the food allergies came out as ordered. Yes! All the food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot. Admittedly, at first we weren't sure about the Denver omelet, since we agreed that we'd never seen it served with a slice of deli ham and bell pepper on top before. At first glance we thought that was the only ham and pepper, but we quickly noticed that the omelets were actually packed full of goodies. Nicole offered alternative options to the one person who couldn't have bread, which was unusual and greatly appreciated! We all agreed that we will definitely return to the Delectable Egg next time we are in Denver!

    Very oily

Quality of the food! It is hard to ruin corned beef and hash. Too oily! Overcooked! I would substitute with something else next time.

Everything was yummy! The service was impeccable. The prices are reasonable. The tea was so good we drank the whole carafe. We definitely will be back for breakfast while we are here.

I was staying nearby and came here for breakfast on a weekday when there was a large conference in town. They were moderately busy, but I was quickly seated. The breakfast menu is loaded with lots of tasty options, so much so that I had a tough time deciding. I ultimately chose their Stacked Ranchero Breakfast, which came out pretty quickly. It looked and smelled amazing and tasted great! I asked for a side of green chili with it, as I wanted to try their green chili and that had a nice spice to it. Coffee was good, so was the service. Would definitely recommend coming here, especially for a nice Mexican breakfast!

One of the few breakfast places in walking distance of the Convention Center, I ended up here by default. It's a diner. It has diner accommodations, diner food, and dining service. Actually, the service is pretty spectacular! The food and the prices met my expectations.

I come here everytime i am in denver, the food is excellent, the servers are always great and attentive and the place is so clean. I will continue to come here for breakfast and always look forward to my next trip! Also, substitutions are always no problem.

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were staying in downtown so the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the Hyatt. It was pretty early, there were people there but not super busy. We were seated right away and had good service. They have a drink menu which included cocktails, mimosas. I went with an Irish coffee. It was sooo good!! Probably the best I've ever had. My sister initially ordered a latte but changed her order to Irish coffee bc it was so good. For my main dish, I got the California Benedict. Delicious!! The eggs were done perfectly. It was a good portion of food. My sister ordered the Denver omelette. I had a bite and this was also super tasty. My husband ordered a frittata and he cleaned his plate! Overall a very good experience. The menu has plenty of options (including pancakes, etc for anyone who likes the sweet stuff).

I had some absolutely fantastic sausage, pancakes, and eggs here! My girlfriend had the grilled chicken breakfast sandwich, and she really liked it too! Our server was fantastic as well! Her mocha latte tasted like it was drenched in Hershey's syrup, my plain coffee tasted acidic and bitter, a common theme in Denver (is this a local preference?). Like some of the other places I have been to in Denver, pricing on mains was pretty reasonable, but the sides were almost offensively expensive. There was a $3.99 upcharge for real maple syrup; I understand that stuff is expensive, and I would gladly pay extra for it, but $4 is about $3 too much. I loved my meal, and my out the door price still wasn't too bad, but uncharges like that, or what they wanted for some of the condiments, costs them a full star, unfortunately. J.Ja

Came here with some friends the moment we flew into Denver because we were starving. We didn't have to wait and were immediately sat despite being a party of 6. Servers were very nice and quick to greet us and take our order. The restaurant was large on the inside with plenty of tables and seating and very quaint and homey feeling. They had a very extensive menu with all sorts of options. Almost paralyzed by the amount of good sounding options they had-- paradox of choice. I got a michelada which was pretty good, not too spicy. I got the monte Cristo sandwich with a side of hash browns. Usually this sandwich is fried with a nice crisp but this one was grilled so it wasn't as crispy as I'm used to-- a bit on the soggier side actually. Flavor was great though and served with strawberry preserves. Hash browns were the same thing-- not as crispy as I'm used to. Others in my group got the brioche French toast and different Benedict options. Overall good and tasty experience.

Great breakfast spot. Can get busy so don't be in a rush. The staff are friendly but short staffed so they are running around constantly. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Mimosa toast to kick off our wedding day.

There's also ample outdoor seating, depending on the weather. The menu has many delectable items making it hard to choose, in a good way. In fact, if I lived in Denver, I'd go back again and again to try everything. The "newer" items include Thai curry lentil soup (which was excellent). grilled kabobs, marinated artichokes, esquites, picked cauliflower (excellent and very tart), dolmas (good, standard dolma), a braised pork sandwich, pimento grilled cheese, and many other items from which to choose. The more traditional items are the classic pastrami, reuben, turkey club, and more, plus a meat / deli counter, giving Leven solid delicatessen cred. The french curry potato salad was excellent. The BLT was one of the best ever had according to my friend. The focaccia & mozzarella was amazing as well. For dessert and I admit an impulse buy at the register, the chocolate, tahini, malted milk brownie was thick, decadent, unique and even better the next day. Great location near the Denver Art Museum, making it a great stop after or before perusing the museum, but probably after because you'll be hungry - you gotta eat something. 5/5, 8.5/10.

The lack of hospitality and thoughtfulness outside the food is regrettable. The first thing in the door you wonder what you're supposed to do. Someone finally came to get us to direct us but you walk to the back of the restaurant and order at the counter. It's really loud so you need to really listen and speak up. It's night club music. Really bad and inexplicably inappropriate for a restaurant. Who's this for? The employees? I couldn't wait to leave 15 minutes into my visit. They have pepper grinders over by the self serve water station. All empty. We asked the person behind the counter and she said she was surprised that they still had those out there and pointed us to the other side of the restaurant where they have those pepper shakers with the bland tasteless stuff. She didn't go get the grinders. They were there for the entire visit. Someone came by and offered us free biscuits. Neither of us wanted one. We couldn't hear what she was saying. I shook my head no but she left one. She wasn't really interested in our response and you could tell she wasn't interested in doing what she was doing at all. We didn't touch it. My wife ordered tomato soup and a southwest salad. She said neither were special. I liked my pastrami Reuben but thought the pickles were unnecessarily spicy. Way over the top for no reason. Someone knows how to bake bread and that's the only nice thing I'm going to say about this restaurant. DoorDash maybe?

Well, before 6:00 at night, they had run out of the rustic loaf bread that both of our sandwiches (the Ridgeline and the Fourteener) were supposed to come on. In fact, due to a lunch rush, they had run out of the rolls several hours earlier. I guess they don't make more bread if they run out...maybe they don't make their own bread at all, but it was disappointing for a sandwich shop to run out of bread. Shouldn't that be a staple for a sandwich shop? We ended up having to just go with regular bread. I had wheat, while my daughter had sourdough. Again, don't get me wrong...both sandwiches were fine, but paying $14 for a sandwich on two slices of bread just doesn't seem worth it to me. Adding in chips and drinks (from a fountain machine where the Coke Zero exploded on you, and the Diet Coke seemed flat) for $40 wasn't a great deal. Guy at the counter was very apologetic for them running out of the rustic loaves, for what it was worth...not $40, that's for sure.
