In the land of Devil's Tower, there isn't much in terms of food so most of these spots could stay open on frozen bags of fries, frozen patties and a former McDonald's fry cook. So I finally caved and figured even a "knock off" McDonald's meal would work. Boy was I surprised when I came in. The prices were fair, I mean out here I'd expect a hefty tourist tax (and I'd be willing to pay) but a 12oz Ribeye for $26 and all the fixings you could want? Count me in. (Burgers all under $12) What a fantastic cut, perfect amount of fat and meat and perfectly cooked. The pecan honey butter for the roll should be illegal it's so good. Great folks too, I'd come back here in a heartbeat!! Do yourself a favor and skip the spots right by the entrance and stop at the end of the road, even a burger from here would be better. read more

I almost didn't go here because restaurants close to tourist attractions are typically over priced, have bad service, and bad food. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they have excellent food here. We ordered the steak tips dinners that were not only very delicious and filling with sides, salad and warm loaf of bread that came with the dinner, but they were also very reasonably priced. We were going to Devil's tower & actually stopped to use the restroom. But we ordered lunch. I had the roast beef/mashed potatoes. Didn't care for the bun as it had grill margarine on it. But the beef & mas hed potatoes/gravy were very good. Hubby had grilled chicken Sandy which he said was good. Desert was the best cherry pie I've had in a long time! Our waitress, Angel was superb! By chance we stopped by Devils Tower Gulch on our way into Devils Tower. The line to get in DT was backed up, so we stopped in for a quick bite. We were immediately greeted and told about the Gift shop upstairs. The sandwiches were very good (grilled chicken & club sandwich) and the food came out quickly. There were several people stopping in for ice cream, so that seemed to be a big hit. I definitely recommend this place if you want a quick lunch or a drink at the bar. read more

We're happy they had a selection of beer from Wyoming breweries and that it was nice and quiet and less crowded than the places at the entrance to the park. We had a wonderful family day hiking at Devil's Tower. Sunday and Winter Hours had us wondering where we could eat...just a couple miles outside of the park entrance is the "Devil's Tower Gulch" is the place to go! With unbelievable views of the Tower from it's windows sits this rustic and charming restaurant. Extremely family friendly staff and owners made us feel like it was home. The only place open for dining in due to covid scare. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere of an old log cabin lodge. The hostess even offered a table next to a window with a perfect view of Devils tower. We both had bison burgers with onion rings. The burgers were good and char cooked, which added to the flavor. Onion rings were large and delicious. Our server was a friendly, polite, attentive and quite helpful young lady with a sweet smile. We even bought a souvenir upstairs. I would definitely return if we are in the area again. My family stopped in today after hiking Devils Tower. We were seated and there was one waitress working. There were 2 other tables seated at this time. The Bartender came over to get our drink orders. The waitress was still tending to the other 2 tables and the bartender took our meal orders. Other tables were seated and neither the bartender nor the waitress stopped to check in on us. We tried to be patient and after 1/2 hour, we watched the other tables receive their food and these were the people seated after us. The waitress finally showed up with an order of fries. We asked how much longer it would be. She said it was coming. She brought our food and the cheeseburgers were dry. I can cook better cheeseburgers on my cast iron at home. I expressed my disappointment to the manager and she seemed confused as to why I was not happy. The waitress stated it was because they were slammed. Our waitress, who was also the bartender, informed us as we sat down, it may be a 30 minute wait to get the food as several other people arrived at the same time. We said that was fine, & it didn't take more than 15-20 minutes to get our steaks-and were they ever Delicious!! Our meals came with a salad & fresh bread (that was wonderful!). The 5 stars are relevant as compared to all other options in the vicinity; of which there really aren't any... but these folks are not like so many places with little competition - they do a great job. On a slow Fall day they offered a full and varied menu of American fare and it was served fast, hot and tasty. It attracts the highway crews and if you have ever seen a Wyoming highway crew you know these guys may not know much about working hard but they obviously know how to eat. We were in the neighborhood and stopped by for dinner. The service was excellent. We ordered steak, one rib eye one New York. The New York was cooked to perfection the rib eye was way past rare to medium rare and a bit past medium. Although it wasn't cooked to my liking both steaks were delicious, tender and still juicy. Both meals were served with a salad of ice burg lettuce, cucumbers and grape tomatoes, They were fresh, cold and crispy. Dinner was also served with fresh bread, potato and green beans. My husband loved the beans which were stewed with bacon. I prefer more of an eldente vegetable. We both chose the mashed potatoes, real potatoes cooked in their jackets and mashed. They were delicious. We got pie to go which was good but tiny pieces especially the blue berry. I suppose if I would have eaten it right after the meal it would have been plenty. read more

Man this place is amazing friendly staff and even better ( owner I assume ). We came in for a quick bite after seeing the koa cafe offerings. We had the onion rings amazing and tri tips even more amazing we also had the fried pickles that at first showed up frozen in the center, I just wanted them re-heated owner said they were getting re done and off our ticket. I did not expect that, I would have been happy to pay as they were great. We even ended up liking the green beans they were a very bright green and wonderful.
