Great place. They are a natural diner using only fresh ingredients. They even have organic ketchup on the tables. My wife ordered the Yogurt & Granola with strawberries which she really enjoyed. I asked about the burgers that they advertise is Angus certified beef , made daily on the premise. They also hand cut their French fries and fortunately leave the skin on. I had the Greek feta Burger, topped with crumbled feta and sautéed mushrooms. Also had lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on top. Great burger and fries. Definitely returning. read more

An average diner with not so great food. This is an average diner maybe little below par diner. I ordered three eggs over easy corn beef hash and rye toast and potatoes with a black coffee. The coffee was in the weaker side. The potatoes were dry and corn beef hash wasn't wasn't cooked well. Alternatively, the toast was good as was the eggs. My friend ordered a Gyro platter, it's a huge serving with salad, pita, and potato fries. Next time I'm ordering the gyro platter. He enjoyed his food. read more

I had lunch here on 12/08/2015, and promised myself I would do a review. Why? Because it was so bad! I'm not one who is in Boynton Beach often, perhaps this was the second time I was there in 11 years, don't live near there, don't hang out there, either. I had read a review posted by Will G., for whom I have a lot of respect, and I complimented him and said I would check it out if I was ever lost and found myself in Boynton. Well, it was a disaster. It was after 2pm, the lunch time crowd had thinned out. We were seated promptly, given menus, and after a short review, were ready to order. We tried to get the attention of our waitress, and while she walked by our table several times, she ignored us. It appeared that she had a protocol, and only handled one table at a time, and when stopping at certain tables, she engaged returning guests in extended conversations. Well, I like friendly servers, but please, just take our order so we could eat. Ya see, we were really HUNGRY. after 8 minutes, she came and said "what are you havin"? And here is what happened: The coffee she brought was cold, the requested half and half was not brought, and while she took the coffee away, she still forgot to bring back the half and half. I ordered soup and a salad. Dennis ordered a sandwich with a side order of fries, which looked real good. She brought the wrong soup to me. She took it away, and said "I'll be right back". She brought Dennis his sandwich - on the wrong bread, and the fries were undercooked and cold. We decided not to say anything about the fries, but when she finally brought me the right soup, she also brought a new order of fries, and said "the kitchen said these would be fresher, they were just cooked". That was quite revealing, as it was apparent that the kitchen realized the fries were sitting on the shelf in the kitchen, under a heat lamp, and that's why they were soggy and luke warm to cold. Oh, my salad was huge, too huge, and while it appeared fresh, as I expected it would be, there were no ingredients which jumped out at me as being really yummy. Give credit for that. But the dressing I asked for was not brought, either. Our booth allowed me a clear vantage point view of the kitchen, the register, the front door. Our waitress was running from one area to another, as well as answering the phone to write up take-out orders. Sorry, I may sound cranky, but it was just a bad experience, from start to finish. I guess if you work around there and like their food and have experienced stellar service as many of my fellow Yelpers assert, keep on going. As for us, we will chalk it up to experience, and next time I have an appointment in the area, I'll drive by, and stop at SBUX. I will know what I am getting, and will not have to potentially deal with the same scenario. Also, I didn't get any sense that this place had "character", as all diners in NYC have, but it was clean. Maybe this is a go to place for oversized fattening greasy breakfasts, but I avoid them. read more

When we drove by last week to try it out, we decided not to since it was packed with people waiting outside. I decided to call in a takeout for breakfast yesterday since I didn't feel like cooking and we honestly were not sure it was going to be a crowd like last time. The lady who took our order over the phone said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Wow! I wasn't expecting it to be done so quickly. After arrival, it wasn't crowded. Maybe it was because it was 8 o' clock in the morning or Labor Day. However, I was informed I was there before the rush and I made great timing because there was a crowd of 10 people that came in behind me. The place is cute and small. It doesn't look like an old fashioned diner and it's very clean. The menu has a bunch of different items to choose from and it's famous for their breakfast items. I was happy to have a BOGO coupon for our two meals, which made the total bill 9 bucks. Wooop! My husband got the 3 egg breakfast with cheese, home fries, bacon, and toast. I went for the Diner with Peameal egg benedict. Both of our meals were huge and delicious. The Canadian bacon is the real deal. We couldn't even eat half of our breakfast and it was so fulfilling. While the portions here are big, the food I got was flavorless. The hollandaise sauce was gross. It tasted like they only melted butter to make it. Hollandaise is made with egg yolk, butter and lemon juice. Good hollandaise should have a lemony tang. What I got was not good. My breakfast potatoes lacked any sort of seasoning, including simple salt and pepper. I don't think the quality of the food justified the price. read more

Got food to go from The Diner one morning. The food was fairly cheap, which was nice. Unfortunately, pretty much every item we got was severely under seasoned. The chicken fried steak was decent, but the potatoes and eggs were pretty bland. The hollandaise for the eggs benedict was made weird, it tasted like just butter instead of lemon, salt, and butter. Great Diner food! Saturday lunchtime and looking to Yelp for local recommendations for a quick bite. The Diner was right if the next exit and the menu sounded inviting. When we arrived the parking lot was full but we lucked out as someone was leaving. At the hostess stand we put our name in and grabbed some menus to speed up the process once we were seated. After a short 8 minute wait we were escorted by our friendly hostess to our 4 top window table. Our friendly server appeared and took our drink orders. Back with or beverages and we ordered: French dip for the wife with extra well done fries and a Greek Omelette for me with their thick marble Rye Toast. A reasonable amount of time to wait for our food and to see that some of of favorite Yelp friends had also dined here and enjoyed their meals. Our entrees arrived exactly as ordered. We've come here for breakfast and lunch and I prefer it for breakfast. I would say it's a 3 star lunch place and 4 star breakfast. The couple of times we came for lunch we had sandwiches and they were just ok, nothing special. However for breakfast they are much better. First of all the portions are HUGE. Our typical breakfast order is 1 omelette and one order of french toast which we split between the two of us and that is more than enough and sometimes too much. I like their omelettes and love their french toast, however I hate breakfast potatoes and that's all they have here, no hash browns which sucks something awful and prevents a 5 star breakfast rating. read more
