Met a friend here for brunch. I have always loved the diner experience. This place did not disappoint. Today I ordered a BLT with egg a girls got to get her pro Tien! It was absolutely delicious! Our server was lovely and checked in as regularly. The portions were big. my friend got a Gyro with fries. The fries could've serve three people. Trying not to be like the masses, I put my phone away and did not take photographs though the photographs listed on yelp are perfect. As I watched other food passing me by. We stopped here for a late lunch on Wednesday March 6 in Boynton Beach in search of Quartz counter tops that was nearby and we were happy we did, it was only opened until 4PM. We walked in roughly around 3:30 and were seated by the Owner Mike who was very friendly and pleasant to talk with. He explained that they were a Breakfast and Lunch Diner. This location was quaint and very clean, there were still a lot of people eating here when we walked in. Our Server Kim came over handed us our menu, took our drink order, and came back with our coffee with glasses of water. The coffees were really good not watered down like some of the other locations we've been to and the water tasted really good without any weird tastes where you have to disguise it with lemons. My wife ordered the Greek Salad and I had the Gryo Platter. When Kim came back within 15 minutes and placed the plates in front of us, we couldn't believe how huge the orders were. They were mounds of salads and were very crisp and fresh on both our plates. On my Gyro platter was a lot of moist tender flavorful meat over quartered Flat Bread centered between the salad and a mound of crispy French Fry's with a large side a Tzatziki Sauce. This has to be the best Gyro Platter I've had since relocating from NYC. There aren't many good diners here in Palm Beach County like in NY, but I have to say this Diner has to be the best one we've been to and I would drive all the way here to try out the rest of their menu. The restaurant has gone up a half star to 3 1/2 since we were last here. As usual, there's a wait for a table but it didn't take that long -- even in season -- maybe 15 minutes. While waiting, we got a chance to look over the menu and change our minds several times. Once seated we were greeted promptly. They were so busy that the waiters apologized that she was waiting for the silverware to cool a bit before she could bring it to the table. I decided to order their turkey club sandwich. I ordered it on lightly toasted marble rye. This being a diner not a deli I knew it wasn't going to be Jewish style rye bread. But that was fine. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich. Both sandwiches come with a side of in house made French fries. On the table was ketchup already and they bring a squeeze bottle of Hellman's mayo so you can add it your sandwich to taste. The sandwiches were huge! Mine had real turkey, crisp bacon, tomato slices and lettuce. The bread was toasted as ordered. My only complaint is that the lettuce was a bit brown around the edges and wilted. I just took it off the sandwich. The, as requested, well done fries were wonderful (yes, Holly S -- to use your word: addictive). And my husband's tuna salad sandwich was also very large. He had to deconstruct the sandwich just to eat it. So bottom line: still good since our last visit. A bit better because of the fries, but not yet perfect. The fritattas are super salty, the toasted pitas tasted steamed and/or microwaved (maybe the chef didn't understand "toasted"), the tomatoes were hard and tasteless (this is Florida, right?), the French toast tasted spongy. . . How were all these things so bad in one meal?? The restaurant is always pretty full and very popular but we eat brunch about noon, not early breakfast, so maybe by then the food is old and stale and re-heated. . . or maybe not. What a find! Played 18-holes at the Palm Beach Golf Course and was looking for a casual stop on the way back home (South) with a good selection of food options. The Diner's menu fit the bill and the prices seemed very reasonable. Ended up arriving right in the middle of lunchtime (12:30 pm), and was worried it would be crowded. It was pretty full, but we were able to snag a booth behind the hostess check-in. I'm always a fan of booth seating in any place that calls itself a diner, so this was a 'hooray'. Waitress came over pretty quickly to take our orders. Friend: Hot open-face Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and a side of vegetables. Served a little differently than I'm used to seeing (bread had the ends cut off and was quartered), but plenty of turkey, a generous serving of (white) gravy, and a heaping mound of mashed potatoes. The vegetables were served as a side dish. Friend said it was very good, and cleaned his plate. Me: Quinoa Protein Breakfast with 2 soft poached eggs, to which I added gyro meat (not an option, but something I requested that they happily accommodated). There was ALOT of food here, and a very generous serving of gyro meat which they cut up into the Quinoa for me. When I go back, this is what I will be order again. It was really delicious. One negative would be getting a refill on my coffee. I was never asked if I wanted a refill, and had to ask 3 separate times before someone (possibly the Manager/owner?) finally came over to give me a refill, and he acted if he had to go out of his way to do so (the waitress never came back to refill my cup). Not the end of the world, but at that point we were done eating and I really would have preferred to have it with my food. Typical diner fare and huge portions! Come hungry or plan to take leftovers! They use so many eggs and the real deal too, not cartonized ones. Their coffee is not great, so don't expect much on that note. Their water cups are huge, which is great for my sister who usually downs at least four regular size cups per meal, which probably are the same used for soda too, so refills dont take too many trips here. Service/staff is friendly and sometimes overworked - the weekend brunch hours are packed here so expect a wait to be seated. In no time, our food arrived & I was munching down on the freshest, hot off the grill burger cooked exactly the way I asked for it - with just the faintest line of a pink blush in the center & my current weakness, a generous portion of yummy fries. We needed to get my nephew back to tennis and finally had to ask the waitress to check on our order. We drive by this place often and today we decided to walk in. It's located in a busy plaza, but parking was plenty. Once inside, we were seated right away, right before the lunch rush. The menu is HUGE! It is very reasonably priced and WOAH the portions are MASSIVE! We decided to order a Greek omelet with ham and a strawberry Belgium waffle. The omelets are made with 5 eggs and it is one to share. The coffee isn't anything special and the mugs are so tiny. However, they offer orange with or without pulp. So that's a major plus in my book. It's very odd how small the coffee mugs are compared to the food portions which are so large. There is outdoor seating which looked nice and we might choose to seat there next time. With great food, but not so great coffee I am shocked at my own rating. Apparently this is a popular brunch spot if you are around the Boynton beach area. I came here as a party of 4 on a Sunday around 1130/12 and had a 20 minute wait ahead of me. There was no hostess when we entered the packed restaurant, so it took a few minutes to put our name down. Mean while, a line is growing behind us. Once given our estimated wait time, we grabbed a menu and decided to be prepared to order once we were actually seated. Sure enough, 20 minutes later and we were seated. To cut the length of this review, I'll just say the food was pretty good (except for the bland home fries), the service not so much. Examples: asking multiple times for lemons for our water, 2 of the 4 entrees coming out 10 minutes before everyone else's, never bringing syrup for pancakes even when asked twice, and lastly no one attending to our empty glasses needing to be refilled. Yes the restaurant seemed busy, but more and more I find myself getting less tolerant with poor service, especially if you are recommending a minimum 18% tip these days. There were several empty dirty tables upon us leaving, as well as a big line of people waiting to get in. Surely there must be a more efficient way for employees to quickly turn over tables and still meet their guests needs. read more

So I was looking for a quick bite to eat after getting my nails done and I remembered that this place was down the road from where I go for my nails. I decided to order a BLT and asked for russian dressing on the side. It was pretty good and definitely slightly messy (the tomato was pretty fresh). My mom went with the BLT and I ordered a blackened chicken with Swiss and grilled onions (no bun) it came with hand cut fries which I asked for well done.
