I always have a great experience at The Diner!! The food is exceptional, service is amazing, and a very lovely ambiance. They always have fresh flowers at the tables which instantly brings me joy. I recommend anyone who's in the area to visit. It may be a bit of wait as everything is freshly made to order but it's worth it!

The food, the service, the other customers, the owner, all were amazing. Best meal I had while visiting Willamette Valley.

Nice location! I am partial to diner food. I love the comfort of good old griddle cooked breakfast foods. I mean who doesn't love a short stack with a couple of sunny side up eggs, a side of bacon, and some hash brown done crispy?! However this is not that kind of diner... A smaller more sophisticated version of a diner is maybe a better interpretation of this venue. A bit of a leveled up menu, a much neater, then your average dinner, appearance, and no "Flow the waitress" or "Mel the cook". (Now those are some very old tv references!) The location is small... so get here a head of the rush otherwise you will be waiting. The menu has some good options... I chose the spicy chicken which was cooked well, had good flavor, and the fries on the side were delicious. (They even have some specialty sodas available... small glass bottled pure cane sugar type that are very good! Even though Alice was not here (another throw back reference) this was a very pleasant surprise. Good food, a nice location and very good service. Well worth venturing over for a taste!

We waited a good 30 minutes but that's normal. This place has a specialty menu that is worth the wait. It's small but mighty. I happened upon this spot and I am so glad that I did. The atmosphere is friendly and small family welcoming. They baked goods are incredible and I will be back here again. The only thing I would like to see change is maybe an expansion because this place has potential to be something amazing.

Super good! I had the biscuits and gravy, it was good but my husband had the Benedict with fried chicken and I had a bite and it was SO good. I definitely will get that when we come back and try other things too! Wait was about 20 minutes and well worth it and service was great. Glad we found a new breakfast spot close to home.

Who doesn't love locally grown ingredients and delicious meals from scratch! This was one awesome breakfast. From the looks of the menu, they will have fancy espresso at the end of this month/early February. You can skip to the photos but read on for our great experience. We were seated right away but Ive heard this place can have quite the wait during peak hours. The inside is small and cozy. The offered a variety of drinks (including alcoholic one). I was tempted by the Bloody Mary but I opted for a chai with steamed milk and it was perfect for this drizzly day. The menu is simple but I still could NOT decide what to order because everything looked great. (Meaning I'm coming back to try more...) I ordered the fried chicken and bacon Benedict and my husband had the corned beef hash with a side of biscuits and gravy. Portions were generous and we both couldn't finish it so we boxed it up. Lesson learned for next time though, I'm going to strategically put half my breakfast or lunch away and eat a pastry there. They had a variety of muffins and this apple streusel coffee cake. Whoever baked that deserves an award. The employees here are wonderful and I loved hearing them laugh and enjoying work. It's always a good sign that the food will be good if the workers are happy. We can't wait to come back next weekend and throughout February for the Yamhill County meltdown!

Delicious, fresh, homemade food with beautiful presentation. Excellent service - coffee cup was always full, staff checked in on our dining experience. Our food and coffee was thoroughly enjoyed. Not your typical Diner!

I am told...They had great alcoholic beverages (said half of our party-not everyone had alcohol). The food was mixed reviews. 1) steak bites were delicious. Blue cheese butter is thebomb.com. 2) everything else was sub par. Burger was supposed to be med-rare, came out well done/jerky. Pizza was raw dough, not melted cheese and they pulled it "because the sides were burning." They could have put foil around it and actually cooked it. OR recommend we stick with regular pizza dough when we confirmed we don't have an allergy but was wanting a "lighter" low carb pizza. They also had an anecdote of another customer who ordered the cauli pizza but served them regular dough and it was a true food allergy and a problematic experience for the customer (??? Why would you choose to share that? lol). Tbh a nuked hot pocket will cook the cheese better than our pizza was. Salads were ok. Nothing to rave about. Desserts were ok I'm told. Didn't have any myself. I was done at that point. Service needs improvement. Not just weird PTSD patronage stories shared, but I felt bad dragging family out to the area so I tried paying without them knowing, slipping the credit card toward the waitress without everyone at the table noticing. And she knocked the card out of my hand when reaching for plates, announcing that "your credit card fell." I don't care if it was my bday or not I wasn't going to make my family pay for this meal. I would not come back and I don't recommend it. For everything it was ~$160 +40 tip which I feel salty about giving considering the quality of our meal and service. I'm a good tipper regardless of experience because it's the right thing to do/pay it forward, etc. but I was pissed driving home lol for $200 I could have picked up steak and lobster and cooked at home.

Beautiful restaurant, we really expected a bit of a crowd. We were seated and greeted, waters were provided with menus. We started our meal experience by telling our waiter that we planned to do a progressive dinner down 3rd Street. We were met with a rather disappointed / disheartened response. Their menu was absolutely stunning. Lots of great options. As this was our first stop of the evening, we went for an appetizer. The Albacore Confit absolutely out of this world. Ridiculously good. Huge portion, plated beautifully. Wonderful for the three of us to share. We all raved at how lovely the dish was. Drinks were absolutely fabulous. Gin martini was SOLID. My partner didn't care for his wine but it was a first-time try, that isn't the fault of the restaurant. The Dolores O'Riordan martini was absolutely wonderful. The bar was timely with drinks, which is always appreciated. Overall, ambiance, food, and drink were AMAZING! Absolutely a 5-star experience. However, service just did not slap. We could have survived with the disheartened response at us only staying for one-course but the end of our time with Grounded Table kinda kicked us all in the butt. As they handed me the check, we were met with "We hope you can join us for an entire meal sometime". The inflection was just catty and unnecessary. Trying to look past it, I continued to complete the check but after they departed the table, my dinner-mates both whispered under their breath "that did not just happen, how rude!" Meh, this could hae been the easiest 5-star review ever. The attitude of our server kinda blew the entire experience, the comment was unnecessary.

The pizza is thin crust, uses a better quality of pepperoni, and the bottom is crisply done. The Greek salad was a generous size, a large could easily be split. If you threw them in whole, they would dominate the dish, sliced they complemented the dish along with the feta crumbles and cherry tomatoes.
