The space is clean and spacious. And most importantly the food was delicious and fresh. Portions are tremendous and dishes are easily shareable. Looked up this brunch spot as I was in town and read some really amazing reviews, we waited about an hour and 20 minutes to be seated which was fine considering it was around 11:30am and busy weekend. Hands down the best mimosas I have tasted at a brunch spot! I loved all the flavor and our waiter was extremely helpful and would surprise us with different flavor mimosas every-time! However the reason I am giving this a 3 star is for the food taste. I ordered the sunrise tacos which is 13.99 for 2 tacos that were pretty bland tasting if it was not for the garlic sauce on the side it would taste like nothing. The fries were nicely seasoned but very stale. The sprinkle pancakes was suppose to come with condensed milk and powdered sugar but honestly they just tasted like McDonald's pancakes with sprinkles, they had no syrup or flavor what's o ever. I'd give this spot a solid 3.5 stars, yelp only lets you do full stars and I'm just not comfortable going up that much. Food was decent, I tried the Roasted Pork Benedict and it was ok. One of the flavors was a little off, I think it may have been the hollandaise. The pork wasn't overly flavorful either. The bread wasn't toasted very well or seasoned with butter or anything. Could have been a better dish but I was hungry and enjoyed it for what it was. I was a little disappointed in the staff, they were shouting behind the counter (not the kitchen, the counter) and were not talking about anything work related. I found it unprofessional and honestly a negative distraction from my dining experience. It was also really cold inside. I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

Strawberry Pancake Stack - So you definitely are in for a treat if you are expecting your average, which is berry's just tossed on top of the pancakes. This diner is not only beautiful with its modern coastal feel; but very good! Excellent. Omelet maybe had a little bit too much cheese - which are words I thought I would never say. Server asked how I like my potatoes, regular or crispy - which I thought was great. We arrived hungry after an early morning flight. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the airport. They have a parking lot and it's not in the middle of all the Disney action. We were told it would be A 45 minute wait. That was fine with us because we needed to pick up some items at the nearby Publix. 60 minutes later we received a text that our table was ready, to our surprise we did not have a table but were offered the counter seats. Oh well! Overall, I wasn't wowed by anything. The food was just average, it tasted like something I could have at home. I was very disappointed that I got toast with my food but there was only one slice of bread cut in half. The sausage is really good. They also have a bottomless Mamosa special for $25 and I saw several people drinking them so they must be good.They were very busy so the servers were not very attentive. But when they did come they were friendly. I really wanted to love the waffle, but I found it to be very light and fluffy and a little on the soft side. Ahhhh I absolutely love this place! Make sure to come early (before 10am on weekends because they do get packed!) We got the chicken and waffle, Nutella and strawberry French toast, Cuban sandwich and their steak! If you want to excite your taste buds, definitely go for the chicken and waffle! Filling and very fresh and crunch. The chicken and waffles weren't over cooked at all and the syrup was soooo yummy with it! I don't recommend the steak one because it was super well done even though we asked it to be medium rare. The steak was also dry. The French toast was super fresh and nice and hot when it came out soooo we definitely did dessert first because we couldn't help it! Customer service was wonderful even thought it was hectic! Great service and and great food! Stayed nearby and I had this place bookmarked. My group of friends all agreed on some brunch and came around 12:30p. There was a bit of a wait, but not bad. The specials and the menu had so many options I wanted to order one of each! I ended up getting their omelette and subbed it with egg white & turkey bacon, home fries, and wheat toast. My friends got the gyro, breakfast tacos, and Florida French toast. I have to say, I was very impressed with the home fries! Could you believe The Nutella drizzle alone is over $1... total came to be about the same price as the entree cost. Pancakes itself weren't fluffy, mainly on the dry side. Last but not least, my friend ordered a bagel that had mold on it... definitely set the mood for brunch! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the wait was LONG. We went on a Friday and waited an hour and 20 minutes (they told us 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours). We first attempted this restaurant two days ago on a Monday morning and it was packed! The wait time was too long for us. They do not take reservations by phone so you have to go in person. Send a sacrificial lamb to get your wait time started. We stopped by again two days later and to our surprise were seated immediately at the bar. The staff is friendly and helpful with food options. I'm not a morning person, but I do enjoy breakfast, so I am always looking for new places that serve a solid breakfast past 2pm. @ The Diner hit the spot being open until 3 each day (woo-hoo!). It is located right across from the UCF Rosen campus and near Williamsburg, I-Drive and the Convention center. Parking is never an issue at this shopping complex. The decor isn't particularly homey or "diner-y", but that's ok since they have maximized space to keep things moving with a ton of seating. Service was very "nice" but did struggle a bit with a 5+ minute wait to initially greet after seating and no refill offers until we were done eating. The server was knowledgeable and friendly so perhaps it was just an off day or they had too many tables. The menu is extensive and the food is very good. Omelets were great although a bit burned on the edges with hearty sides. Cereal pancakes were the stand out item - perfectly done and flavorful. How are these not a thing more places! I love the piece of pineapple on the plate and the side of fruit was perfect - full of fruit you want... not crappy melons! Overall, I know I will be back soon! read more

Another great breakfast again. Perfect way to start off the new year. January 1st, 2021 it's gonna be an amazing positive year for all of us. Had a wonderful stuff blueberry French toast. With bacon and French vanilla coffee. I actually quit coffee, but I had a 3 hour drive, thought the coffee would keep me alert. Waitress was so kind to refill it. We ate outside, although it was slightly windy, it was actually a nice setting. Our waitress was wonderful. I forgot what her name was, but she was very attentive, and kind, and just truly a wonderful person. We were very grateful for her, to work on a holiday. The interior is nice and refreshing feeling with light colors. The ambience is casual. Every time my boyfriend and I come to Orlando we try to look for new places to try, we saw this little spot and decided to try it. The place is a little small but it's a really nice spot, our waitress was amazing, loved her energy. Now the food ehhh...I had the waffles and chicken, the chicken was room temperature it had a bland taste to it, the waffles were fine I give it a 2/5 I also ordered a caramel cappuccino and it taste like straight milk, wasn't good at all 0/5. My boyfriend ordered the huevo rancheros he mentioned there was barely any meat, there was more potatoes than anything and he did love the guacamole he said it was the best he ever had. After several trips, I'm finally confident enough to leave a review. My first time was not the best, but I knew that I needed to give it another chance. I ordered eggs Benedict that I didn't end up liking, but that's what I get for "trying something new" at a new place. The next trip I ordered an omelet, and again, I wasn't a fan, but ate it. So fast forward to now, where I order the same thing each time. It has become tradition to visit the diner on our way out of Orlando. The Nutella & strawberry French toast is the most amazing thing I have ever tried. The flavors blend together so well (I mean, who doesn't like Nutella with strawberries?) and the French toast is so soft. It's not overpowering or too sweet, and it's perfect to share. You can't really go wrong with eggs and a side of potatoes, so that's what I tend to go with. I started ordering the vanilla cappuccino and it's very good, I don't even have to add sugar, which I usually do at other places. We've sat inside up until today. We brought our dog on this trip and I was almost bummed that we would have to drive straight home, but I called ahead and it was nice to know we could sit outside with him. Came out here on a Sunday early afternoon. They were busy and appear to always be busy however the weight wait time was actually pretty short and reasonable. I'm not sure how much I like this new system I've given a restaurant my telephone number so that they can text me where my seat is ready. I know it's some point I will become part of a marketing database. The service was pretty good nice and fast. Our waiter at a smile on his face as if something really hilarious was going on behind the scenes. But then again I also laughed when I see my ugly face in a mirror so I understand why you so cheery when he came to my table. The food was great absolutely nothing to complain about or critique. (4.5 rating) The chicken and waffles! Hands down my favorite of all the chicken and waffles I've had thus far. The portion size is perfect, the moist chicken was lightly battered and seasoned well, and the waffles are crispy golden brown. There's a slight sweetness to waffles as if they were ever so slightly caramelized. Yum! Also ordered the Nutella and banana pancakes. This stack was picture perfect and to my surprise not as sweet as it looked. They also worked their magic on their pancakes as well. These were light, airy, and browned well. I'm not much of a pancake person but I found myself enjoying these. The staff were kind and we absolutely would come back here. The reason for a slight knock off on rating was because the cup our fruit came in was coated in a white crusty film.
