First time here. Tried their happy hour. 1. Chris the bartender is Amazing! He single-handedly managed serving the tables, managing the bar and taking/delivering all the food items. 2. Can't go wrong with $3 wells and $10 burger/fries. Would I come back??? Maybe if they changed the music up, it was straight edm-ish, I say ish because it wasn't quite Vegas, it wasn't Ibiza- it was mid if even that. Went to this bar to watch a band called "Just a Girl", a no doubt tribute band. The live music openers were all really great, and so was the man show. We scored a great couple seats at a table and the lady bartender made a great drink for my wife. I basically just asked her to make something really sweet, she put a bunch of things together and voila! It was a hit. Don't even know what was in it, but my wife loved it and every worker there was really cool. read more

If I could give a 0 star review I would. The bouncer cracked my boyfriends ID when he was checking its validity and then said they couldn't take it cause it's cracked.. we then asked for a second opinion on whether or not the ID is valid, the manager came over and CRACKED THE ID IN F*CKING HALF!!! The ID is definitely not valid and now we have to visit the DMV for a replacement. Avoid this place for the simple reason their customer service is ridiculous! read more

Disappointed. That seems to be the best way to describe my recent experience at The District. My bf and I arrived there around 7:40pm on Friday. We waited for a hostess to come and when they didn't, the manager sat us. We waited a solid 15 more minutes and a server never came to greet us or take our order. Mind you, it was slow. Tons of empty tables. The manager ended up stopping by and asked if anyone helped us, we told her no. She took our order. We ended up with just a drink due to the bad service. I ordered a "spirit animal" where the bartender gets to make your drink, you just pick the liquor. After waiting another 15 minutes for our drinks to come, the manager dropped mine and my bfs drink. She never explained what I actually got for my drink or what was in it. It remained a mystery. After about another 10 min the manager asked us if we needed anything else. We asked for the check so we could leave. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you like to wait and be forgot about. read more

What an amazing staff! We recently rented out The District for a private party. We brought in tables for a seated event, but everything else was provided by Arin and her capable staff. For starters, the food was amazing! Nearly every person in attendance that night commented on how good their food was. Even the salmon, which can be tricky to do well for some restaurants, we perfect. The staff was so kind, so helpful, and so fun. I honestly cannot think of a single thing we would change. I don't know what happened to this place, but it went downhill and it sucks. I've been here in the past and it was never great, but it was tolerable. We stopped by on a Friday night around 11pm. It was the usual crowded bar, but the place reeked like vomit. It was so crowded and they continued to let people in. The line for the bathroom was backed up all the way to the bar that eventually the lines blended together and everyone was confused. We ended up leaving. read more

I attended this bar with a friend of mine on a Thursday night. The bar had opened at 6pm. The bar played music that was very loud and I was unable to have a descent conversation with my friend because of the loud music. The bar only had a few people in it at the time and the music should not have been as loud as it was. The bar does have a small food menu, but it contained small finger foods. I tried the chicken wings, and they were really good. I also had a long island ice tea, but it wasn't that strong. The bar had sticky floors, but that was due to the staff mopping the floor prior to opening the doors for business. The loud music was the main turn off for me, but the great chicken wings is why I am giving this review two stars. I will not be attending this place in the future. read more

Stopped by here while visiting a friend in Redlands. This was our last stop while bar hopping in the area. Ordered a couple weak-ass old fashioned drinks but it was only $2 each so that's a plus. Small dance floor but the music was good. Plenty of seating areas. Single user restrooms, so that kinda sucked. Lots of local college age kids frequent this bar. Edit: 04-30-2017, We asked the bartender for two old fashioned and got drinks that were not, but oh well...it was only $4 total. I went back again and asked for two old fashioned with a different bartender and received drinks that more closely resembled and tasted like an old fashioned. Those two drinks cost more so maybe it was a mix up concerning the two different bartenders. As for the restrooms, all I know is there was a line of guys in the hall waiting to use it. Whether there was more than one urinal doesn't change the fact that only one person used the restroom at a time. Everything else about this place was fine. I had a blast here! I didn't eat anything but they made me some great drinks for everyone I was with and we really had fun and left happy. Fuzzy navel was a hit! Nice environment. Clean. Ample seating. Good first experience. Update: I've been here three times now, with my friend Pam. We both really enjoy the atmosphere and it is never extremely crowded (at least not when we've been), which is really nice. We are also huge fans of their live music. I went to this bar and was having a good night with my friends. Later in the night I had set my drink down to say hi to a friend, then I watched a man put something in my drink, so I took my drink to the bar. When I told the bartender what had happened she gave me a funny look and told me "that's not my problem." The drink was completely full, I hadn't taken a single sip, so I wasn't trying to get a free refill either. My friend and I both ordered the raspberry lemon drop and this was the final product...the bartender was so wasted he forgot what I ordered 3 times...he was making a drink with rumchata and poured that out of the shaker cup and didn't rinse it out. This was my second time coming here. So I heard this place was poppin' on Thursday's but the music was whatever. It is my friend's birthday and to be honest there was no DJ but an IPAD. These other ladies who were under the influence were changing the music on the stage. So of course I trying to do the same but as I was trying to change the music to make it more hyped but this woman in a CSU East Bay rudely called me out. I apologized but I felt disrespected and slightly discriminated because I am not under the influence I just want my friend to have a great time for her birthday. First time here. Came here last night (Saturday, 02.06) to chill and check this place out see what live band was playing. Decor of the place was great. The band playing was awesome. We ordered pretzels (Bavarian soft) which surprisingly were so good. Bartenders were attentive. Our drinks were Moscow mules which I believe our bartender added a twist to it which made it so much better than other Moscow mules we've had. Idk the bartender name but he's the Asian guy. He came by a couple times and checked up on us. Thanks for the great service and for making our drinks! I would have given this place a 5 star but.. the women's bathroom was eh. Only one stall was working and that ran out of tp. So we had to get it from the other stall that's out of order. Other than that the place is great in my opinion. I would come back again. read more

The bouncer beat up my friend for being "too drunk" and wanting to still get into the bar, instead of sending him away he picked him up by his shirt and slammed him up against the wall and then to the floor. The other bouncer just watched and backed him up. My friend is already in contacts with his lawyer and will be pressing charges. read more

A DJ will make or break a nightclub. And tonight, I had one of the worst experiences at a nightclub I've ever had. Thanks to the DJ shattering my vibe by continuously changing songs every five seconds, I was left feeling unsatisfied. The DJ would not only play the least effervescent segment of a song, he would also (and here's the worst part) begin a really great song, then change it before the best part! This DJ was giving me and my girlfriends blue-balls all night. His transitions were horrid, and blatantly uncoordinated. I consider myself a pseudo hype-man, but even this DJ worked my energy and thunder straight into the ground. Furthermore, this DJ could not make up his mind on Latin, Hip Hop, R&B, and pop-he literally played about 15 seconds of each type back to back. I didn't even have time to fully get into each song and enjoy it. Flat and erratic, the DJ was by far the worst I have ever encountered. This review, by any means, does not strike the club itself, but they did choose this DJ, so some of the onus is on them. I'll hopefully come back to a much more lovely and musically-coordinated DJ. UPDATE: The DJs are DJMERAV (at DJMERV.com) which played on Feb. 13th. Apparently there are multiple DJs with this group: the lady is doing an awesome job. But the guy that DJ'd between 10:30-12pm was the one I referred to in the review. read more

Birthday shenanigans. The bar is huge. Lots of standing room and tables. There is a game area with skeeball and other stuff. They have a good kitchen. Chicken strips and the tots were great. Bartenders were nice not a long wait at the bar for a Saturday night. My friends all enjoyed themselves. Youngish crowd... they card at the door and stamp so there were under 21ers there. I guess for college kids it's one of the places to go to. The bar in the back stunk like vomit but it was ok to hang out if you could get away from the smell. They have a back bar room in case people don't want to be all up in the loud music and drunken people falling over. The front side of the club/bar is more club type. Which is fine if you're in your 20s which most are in that club. The District used to be a hookah lounge bar with live music and the back bar was well, a back bar everyone could sit closer together and enjoy their drinks. And perhaps have in depth conversations; It is no longer a lounge bar with hookah, leather couches and music, it is pretty much club life. Getting drunk. Tripping, falling and or maybe getting laid. It's fine. It was all fun in my 20s and early 30s. But I'm past it. So if you're in that age range you'll like it. Haha. It's no longer a place for me and anticipated something else with my husband for a date night as I expected a lounge with hookah and live music with a cool modern twist. That wasn't the case for us. This bar is one of the newer bars in Downtown Redlands. The space is kind of large-ish, and it has a gastro-pub feel. There is a bar in the back, plenty of tables around the main area, and a stage for what I assume is for performances and/or DJs. On the most recent Saturday night we went, there was a DJ playing new-ish hip hop that I am not familiar yet (in other words, maybe I'm getting old for this scene). To get drinks here isn't bad; I usually stick with the beers in which they offer bottles/cans. The scene here is mostly a chill vibe with the party music, which is kind of weird but okay to me. If you want to dance, go to Boiler Room. At least with the night we went here, some people were on a good one. For example, we had a dude come up to us asking how do we go to the other side of the room. He was looking at a mirror, which made the room look bigger. It's time to go home, dude! Overall, this place is okay. I've been here a few times, never had a bad experience here nor a super good time. It's a good addition to the Downtown Redlands bar scene. read more

I just have to say the bartenders here are just phenomenal!! The drinks are consistent each time, judging by the three that have served us, and their ability to create ones off menu is extremely impressive. They are all extremely friendly and we always have a great time sitting at the bar talking with them and trying different drinks! Luke deserves a special mention because if it wasn't for his personality and amazing drinks the other day we would have just stopped in for one. We were having such a great time though we decided to extend our stay. read more

After years of being silent on Yelp, I signed up to give this review. I waited a half-hour and was skipped 3 times to order a single beer. The bartender completely ignored my plee for service. I find this uterly unacceptable. Let alone the hour long line and the dick bouncer who wouldn't speak except to tell guests to gtfo. This is the beginning of the end for a wonderful DTR. After the previous​ paragraph, I received a response. I thought I'd add the following: I've been a fan of DTR, especially Tuesdays, for years. This was the first bar to skip me on the round multiple times without a care. Good business practice dictates taking responsibility and making amends. I do not appreciate the non-apology in the slightest and I will continue to speak lowly of this bar. I think we both had very clear and matching descriptions of the events, you just had a little more information in regards to the people on payroll. Breakdown: I wrote " i think we were the only ones there other than the staff" you wrote "There were multiple guests at the bar (no you two were no the only ones there)" Which is fine, I was not sure if those 3-4 people worked there or not because one of the people sitting on the patron side got up and went around the bar when they saw us through the glass entrance. I apologize for my assumption... but I did say " I think" because I didn't get everyone's life story in 20 seconds. I believe that is fair and honest. I wrote" they were talking about the fight when we walked in so i told my bf to go sit in the other room while i ordered drinks" and Then you Wrote " For the record, the entire crowd was talking about the fight and who won prior to you guys coming in." .... let the record show we both said the exact same thing. and then without asking or saying anything to the bartender or patrons I told my bf to go sit in the other room. See Above. I was not "essentially asking the other 6-8 people that were sitting at the bar to completely stop their conversation." I actually never involved them, I told the one person who didn't want to hear anything to go away. In an A and B conversation. I never ask strangers to cater to me. I have a Nut allergy and I will pick the allergens out of my food instead of ordering it special and just be very careful because it is MY problem not theirs. This situation was no different. As for the taunting, you said it yourself, "everybody was laughing and talking and having a good time. District is probably most fun place for Redlands Tuesday! It has a spacious dance floor and the music is pretty good sometimes too. There's usually a long line but there's a much shorter line in the back of the place!! Definitely go to that one instead. The drinks are more expensive but up to par for the price it offers. read more

This bar has cheap drinks and is more like a club than a bar. All the college students come here on Tuesdays. It gets pretty hot and stuffy inside because of how many people get packed into the dance area. Drinks are 3$ and will give you fat hangovers, but they'll also get you blacked out LOL read more
