Cynthia is a gem. She's warm-hearted and made me feel so welcome. They have such a cute variety of baked goods for your pet. They even have dog biscuits shaped like bunny peeps for the Easter season. Our cake from The Dog Bakery was a knockout success for my dog's first birthday. They're pretty large so the smallest cake size (round cake) still was more than enough for 3 dogs plus leftovers that we've used as kibble topper for the week. How did I not know this place existed? I picked up a little treat for my pups 1st birthday. We live in the neighborhood so we walked there. My pup enjoyed the walk and was SO happy when we arrived to the bakery. The man who helped us was so kind and so helpful. You can tell customer experience is a very high priority for them. I've always made sure to celebrate my dog's birthday with a special cake. However, this year was disappointing. I arrived at 6:30 PM, well before their closing time of 9 PM, and asked about getting a cake. The staff member informed me that she had just taken the last cake order for the woman in front of me and was already making her cake. Super Friendly Staff, Since yesterday was 4th of July and our Girl had a rough night with the fireworks and we were in the area decided to stop in and pick up a treat for her, since it was something new she was a little cautious and wanted it cut up into little pieces so she could eat it a little easier, but after cutting it up Nova made short work of the Mutterbutter treat. They were very helpful in telling us the prices of the items in the display case and gave us recommendations based on our dogs' size and taste preferences.  Food: We ended up getting the Animal Style Hamburger and Munchkins. The presentation of these treats was so adorable to the point that we were tempted to have a nibble ourselves. Since we're not LA locals, we had to take these treats back home on a plane ride, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how well the treats held up after several days. Our dogs were ecstatic to smell these treats when we brought them home, and they devoured them immediately! The hamburger patty was a biscuit-type treat, while the munchkins were softer and easier for smaller dogs to eat.  Overall: The Dog Bakery really cares about delicious, high quality treats for puppies. The cake arrived 5 days before the day we selected so we just kept it in the freezer until his birthday. Every single person who has helped me has been very friendly and helpful but not pushy. The store is small but they fill only the best dog products and it is well-curated.
