They treat my dog as their own! Just an amazing place and staff. I will start with the boarding and day care. Kind of a private suite , and the room has an AC to keep the dogs at the perfect temperature. During the daycare, his favorite part is the pool... well, he is a lab so pool and grabbing pillows from the couch is so much fun! But I really need to share the experience of their Academy training. Our dog started 2 months ago and we will continue. He has changed so much, so well behaved, social skills, he has become another dog, super smart! Wednesday is his favorite day of the week as it is Tailwag day (Academy time)... next day he is so exhausted, but Fridays he think it is Tailwag day again, and starts crying and when the door opens he goes outside and want to go again! not happy when I just bring him for a car ride ! Anyway, all I can say, it is the best place you can find! I cannot thank enough the whole staff, specially Sue and Isaac!

He required veterinary care, and the bill has now exceeded $5,000. I am extremely concerned about their screening and health protocols, especially after learning that they do not appear to adequately screen dogs for medical conditions before allowing them into the facility. I have also seen other reviews from owners describing their dogs becoming sick after being at this location. This has been an extremely stressful and expensive experience. I am currently considering pursuing legal action and am documenting everything related to my dog's condition and veterinary treatment. I strongly recommend that other dog owners do their research and seriously consider the potential risks before bringing their pets here.

We had been looking for a sitter/walker to handle our 2 high energy babies on the days I have to stay downtown all day. Our dogs met Alec and they were very happy. We felt comfortable allowing him in our home and to walk our pups. Our dogs do pull & take a while to settle, especially after being inside for a while, so we didn't want just anyone handling them. He provided photos and videos & great communication as to what happened and what they did during their time with him. Briefly, our little guy is a new addition to our family and we were seeking a trustworthy, dependable, knowledgeable and kind dogsitter to occasionally watch him. We have never gone outside our family to have someone watch one of our pets. So, we were unsure whether Colean, or anybody (!), could provide the trust and care that we get with other family members. Very quickly, Colean earned our trust. She initially had us visit her house with our dog to see whether he had the right temperament to fit into her pet community. Luckily, our little guy did very well. And, ultimately, we entrusted Colean to watch him overnight on a recent trip. She called me after two hours to let me know he was ready and complained that he "hasn't learned to stop barking". Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that puppies bark when they are under stress. During the phone conversation, we had a minute with a bad connection and I told her that I missed some of what she had just said because the phone had cut out. She rudely commented, "no, that was your dog barking." She proceeded to REPEATEDLY yell, "Stop that!" at my pup, while calling him by name...while I was LISTENING on the phone. Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that when a dog is stressed out and barking, the last thing that you want to do is yell at them. It only increases stress and therefore increases their barking. I immediately drove to pick up my puppy. When I got there, the lady at the desk told me the price, which was five dollars more than what we had agreed upon. I told her that the amount was $45 last month for the same service. She asked the owner, who rudely replied, "Well, it's $50 today". When I asked what the difference was, she told me that my puppy hadn't stopped barking & he had thrown up and she had to clean it up & do more brushing. I told her that I imagine he threw up because he was stressed and that I heard her yelling at him while I was on the phone, so I could only imagine how she treated him when I wasn't on the phone. She looked right at me & denied yelling at him. (I know what I heard) I would never take an animal to this woman again. Oh...and guess who hasn't barked ONCE since we picked him up?

They have also checked in on our cat, Sloan, after she had surgery and was recovering in a cone. They take Athena for walks around the neighborhood, down the street to the park, to the pet store, and when its too hot in Escondido to be outside for long - they work on training and enrichment activities to tire her out mentally and physically. They are great at reinforcing training, commands, and positive behaviors and have made her much better on a leash and releasing her toys during play.
