Cheeseburger (single with everything: ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions)
    Erin P.

So much awesomeness in this diner/bar joint. It's a must stop any time we are even remotely in the area. The staff here don't stop--they hustle and have fun. Chili is served Cincinnati style (which means with beans and spaghetti) but has a bit more liquid that a Cincinnati chili...it's pretty classic with the perfect amount of heat and you can absolutely order it meat only. Crinkle or Waffle fries. What's not to love with those two options? The best. We go classic with our burgers: cheeseburger with everything: ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions. *The onions are served raw and in slices unless you ask for them then diced or fried. They are a thin 1/3 lb patty cooked over a flame and a dollop of butter added at the very end before it gets wrapped up and served with love. You can have it your way so just let them know how you want it.

I do not want to understate this but if you want good food....you don't want to worry about whether or not you will like it...then this is the place! Nothing fancy to anything on the menu but it's all delicious food. You can go other places if you want something more unique but if you want to be satisfied then this is your place.

A great local dive to Green Bay! They recently added on a dining room which is a step up from the dive bar scene on the right. Food is always freshly made and hot from the kitchen. The cooks even bring it to your table! Ordered the chicken sandwich and cheese curds. Others in my group had the cheeseburger. Would recommend. Great cheap food

Typical Wisconsin bar and restaurant atmosphere. Service was slow and while the cheese curds were delicious the cheeseburger was dry and disappointing. Probably won't be back.

Absolutely amazing bar food. I'm in town from California and drove by here at 12:45p on a Tuesday and the parking lot was packed. Had to stop in. Came back later for dinner. Watched the Brew Crew. Had a tasty dinner. Double Cheeseburger Cheese Curds and Waffle Fries. Stuffed afterwards. Been back 2x since.

    Delicious chili!

My favorite burger joint! If you like Kroll's butter burgers, these burgers blow them out of the park. The chili is also phenomenal!!!!

Stopped in for a beer and ended up staying until close, conversing with the owners and the friendly bar tender. Thank you Drift Inn staff.

Wonderful chili and hamburgers. Make sure you buy the chili spicy so you can make some at home.

Our server was cut loose on his first night on his own and was very pleasant and friendly. He was…read morestill a bit in the learning phase, but his demeanor and attitude made up for any minor lapses in service. We started out with me ordering my standard martini order, which is slightly complicated, and he delivered wonderfully...it just took a few minutes, but apparently he was responsible for tracking down the martini glasses (hint: they are in the refrigerator). At any rate, we got our drinks and ordered our food. When the food came out I took one bite and discovered my Turkey Reuben was a Corned Beef one instead. He took it back to the kitchen and they were correcting the order and he told us we would not be charged for that, which was a nice accomodation. What he meant was we would not be charged for 2-the right one and the wrong one. Hmmm, when we asked about it, he went to the manager and they comped us $5 off the bill. That works fine for me for the short wait. The correct sandwich was heaped full and very tasty. My wife got the Turkey Pita, which was also pretty tasty and chocked full of ooey-gooey delicious Tzatziki sauce, turkey, and other fixins. The building is interesting, as it seems like 2 bar/restaurants that decided to connect to each other. There are 2 full bars (only one in use the night we were there), and two dining areas; one by each bar. Overall, I'd go again. Food was solid and prices very reasonable.

Get the gumbo! But be aware: It's hot! Nothing too crazy, but it's definitely got a kick to it, and…read moreyou'll be glad that the gumbo comes with little oyster crackers to sprinkle over the gumbo to cut the heat a bit. You'll also want to get the cheese curds, because when in Wisconsin, you get the cheese curds. These curds are crispy yet chewy, and come with ranch dressing. Nicky's specializes in sandwiches, so they have a lot of them on the menu. I got one of their more popular sandwiches -- the Nicky's Thick Cuban. It is indeed thick! Layers of pork and ham, Swiss cheese and pickles. I split it with another person. Half of a Nicky's Thick Cuban plus fries is enough for one person's lunch. That, and a cup of gumbo, and you've got yourself a splendid meal. We visited on a Friday, so one of the people in my party ordered the Fish Fry. I tasted a bite of the crispy fish and it was delicious. The fish fry comes with fries or potato salad, plus a slice of rye bread, butter and slices of raw onion. I didn't know this, but you eat the fish with the bread and butter and onion like a little taco! It's what you do in this part of Wisconsin. Nicky's has a huge bar (two of them, in fact), with every type of drink you can think of. This is a popular restaurant with students at St. Norbert College, as it's right across the street, basically.
