My wife had the "Bistec a la Mexicana" (Mexican style steak), that was recommended by our very attentive server, Santiago. When we asked for no onions in our dishes, the owner's wife, Eileen, came out and explained how the onions are cooked with the steak as it simmers and marinates, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. And my wife couldn't finish it either. Overall, the atmosphere is welcoming, the food is definitely authentic and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will be back and we were glad we decided to try this place.

We've been to some of the best stake establishments from Naples to Punta Gorda, this ranks right up there! Shawn kept our drinks (and waters) full, and was absolutely charming during our entire experience. He was always watching and nearby, but not obtrusive. There was also a large wedding party, maybe 15 people or more, taking up a section outside. He brought the menus, but it was a long time before he returned. Drinks took over 20 minutes to come out. Bread came after the drinks, but with no plates or silverware, so we had to eat it with our hands. Not ideal. That said, the espresso martini was excellent--no complaints there. When the food came out, the presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh and well-executed. That part of the meal definitely hit the mark. But then it took just as long to get the check, and by that point, the waiting added up. One small but noticeable issue was the smell of the table and menus--it gave off that old rag scent, which pulled me out of the otherwise upscale experience. I think this place has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is great, the food is solid, and the concept is there. But based on this visit, I would like to see sharper execution on the service side before I'd give it a higher rating. I will return.
