I checked into the hotel on 13.07.24 until 18.07.24, The first 2 days they didn't clean our room, then we warned them and then they started cleaning, the worst thing is that they didn't return the deposit, in the beginning the receptionist said they would return the deposit but they never returned 375$, when we called them and asked about the deposit they sent us an incomprehensible check, the fridge was completely full of alcohol, we didn't drink at all and didn't take anything, in general it was the first thing I was cheated. read more

We only stayed one night but wanted to enjoy the pool, we forgot a couple thing in our luggage and had to go down two times & the guy made a comment to another coworker that my husband herd. Also the valet was not very smooth, granted we did come at the time of a concert that was close by. I would recommend staying here and will probably stay again. Was so excited to stay at The Elser after reading all of the fabulous reviews online.. Did it live up to our expectations? We stayed on the 32nd floor and I'll tell you.. the wraparound balcony and the views seemed like the perfect guest was staying with us....it was so dope and immediately lifted my energy--day and night. Wow, is all I can say. 5 stars in this area! Space was a very nice size. I definitely recommend the 2 bedroom suite... it was like staying in a very very nice sized luxury apartment. Nice open layout with so much living space.. Full kitchen... Cleanliness was up to standards with a few exceptions that I'll discuss below. Location... I'm not really familiar with Miami, but I do understand that we were in Bayside, which seems to have a lot of cool things to do, even though we spent most of our time in other parts of the city. Cons: Check in was sketchy... front desk seemed to overlook that my sister had already paid taxes and fees through her payment with Booking.com? If she hadn't been on top of that, she could've been double charged? Because there are NO food options on site--restaurant is closed... everyone orders Door Dash, etc and it gets delivered to the front area, which makes it reek of a medley of every type of cuisine... The only way to communicate with front desk is through text or calling the actual 800 number online... that is crazy to me. I want to call from my room and get someone immediately, not to have to wait for a response through text (and it took up to between 1 and 2 hours to get a reply!!).. for the amount of money that we spent, ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Especially, when you are a party of 5 and need towels and wash cloths daily! They only clean on the 4th day of your stay, so if you're staying less than that.. you have to pay a $75 fee! Oh and because there are no food options onsite... and you may have a full kitchen.. please come prepared as you will need the following: bottled water (if you don't want filter--and no they don't give unlimited water as they advertise), food, paper towels, seasoning, etc.) On our first night there, we were awaken to the constant sound of construction going on... not sure from where but banging, drilling, etc.. for hours. Very luxurious, undeniably clean and incredibly friendly staff. I came here on my first solo trip. The concierges and bartenders had so many recommendations for me to feel safe and have a good time. Here is where they lost points... 1. The remote to the tv didn't work, I told them twice and it was never fixed. 2. The deposit for this place is STEEP, sure you get it back.. but it's still very large. Lastly, 3. I was charged a valet fee for each of the nights I was there... but I didn't even have a car! We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite at the Elser Hotel in Miami last weekend and were absolutely appalled by the condition of the couch in our room. It was covered in what appeared to be human stains and hair, and it was clear that it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. We immediately contacted the front desk and them to fix the situation. They were. It willing to move us to a new room. They also refused to replace the couch or even clean it. All they did was cover it with a bed sheet and give us a measly $65 credit on our $700+ stay. This was completely unacceptable. We were disgusted by the condition of the couch and felt that the hotel's response was inadequate. We were forced to spend our stay in a room with a dirty and unsanitary couch. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location and views. However, this does not excuse the hotel's poor handling of our complaint. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Wow, what a nice hotel in downtown! I honestly don't like to go to downtown because it's always packed with people and parking is difficult but I was so happy that I went to this place because they have a parking lot inside the building with nice people taking care of your car. Then I went upstairs to the building where the lobby was beautiful, the inside decoration of this place is simply amazing and a friend of mine told me that is not only a hotel, but people can also rent rooms here like a nap apartment or something like an Airbnb with them, which is great specially, for people that come and visit and stay for a long time or people that work here so beautiful with an amazing view. This was a big disappointment! I am an I Prefer member and booked through them. They would not honor any of my rewards. Thinking I would have an early check in, that did not happen. Then at 4:30pm we checked in. We asked for a 2 pillows and a blanket since we booked with two children, they never brought it. Went to have dinner a big fat NO! They said they only had 45 minutes and then we would have to leave. At 1:00am another family enters our room with a key and check in papers. That is scary in its self. I could not sleep after that. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILY WITH KID! REALLY BAD SERVICES! Checked in yesterday around 6:30pm for three days of stay. Requested crib and sofa bed sheets and blankets. The front desk confirmed the requests and promised they will be delivered to the room soon. Went outside for dinner and came back before 9pm. Nothing delivered. Called the concierge and they said they will be delivered soon. Waited almost 2 hours and got a baby crib only, which is too small for our kid. NO sofa bed sheets and blankets delivered. We called again, asking if they can provide a larger pack n play. They said they will check and get back to me soon. For the next one hour or two, NO ONE called back or came to our room. The two kids were already over tired and were crying at 11 pm. I called over 5 times during that time asking for updates if they can provide larger crib and sofa bed sheets and blankets. All I got was the manager was checking. In the end, after TWO HOURS of checking, they told me that they only had baby crib. WHY DON'T YOU TELL US EARLIER?! Is that hard to check what crib you can provide? If you can tell us earlier, we can prepare and figure out solution. I had to drive out last night to get a new pack n play for my younger son and left my wife and two fuzzy kids in the room. Also, even you don't have larger crib, why don't you deliver the other items? The items were delivered after I got our own pack n play. Front desk was NOT FRIENDLY and LACK OF EMPATHY at all. When we waited for over 5 hours, we came to the front desk asking for updates. They acted like it was not their business. One of them said to us just wait in the room. But we already waited for more than 5 hours! And they said it was not the hotel's problem to get the larger crib. The cribs are subject to availability and not guaranteed. But why don't you provide a timely updates and response to the guests? It is definitely a problem! Also, the shower room is slippery and a lot of sharp edges in it. Our younger son slipped in the shower and got hurt. I called them to deliver an anti slippery shower mat and they confirmed. However, until now, the second day in the afternoon, I haven't got the mat yet. Similar story happened on my friend's family. They waited for 6 hours to get the sofa bed sheets and blankets. If there were 0 star, I would definitely choose 0 for the service. read more

My key stopped working one night and after three trips to the front desk from the 21st floor. I still didn't have keys that worked and I had to wait for the maintenance person to let me in. They give me instructions to request a lock reset in the morning. When I came back from work midday it still didn't work and I had to make another trip to the front desk to get keys that didn't work to wait for maintenance again. I write this while I'm sitting in the hallway, hoping to get a shower after a hot sweaty day at work waiting for maintenance. read more

This is our second stay in the hotel. Came here last year 2024 and now are here again to celebrate New Year. Last year we were so impressed with everything about the hotel and services! This year it's a complete disaster! What happened here?! The hotel is dirty, the hallways and the rooms don't get cleaned. The vacuums just stay parked on the floor and you never hear them being used. They supposed to clean every other day, but you have to request service 3,4 times before they send anyone. Once we came back, the sheets weren't changed, they just made our bed;(, the floors were not vacuumed or mopped. Everything looked dirty! Huge disappointment. * The Luxury Hotel? Recently, my wife, our son, her mother, and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Let's start with the positives: the reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, a highlight in what turned out to be a disappointing experience. One peculiar design choice was the placement of elevator controls away from the elevators, ostensibly for 'security purposes' - a rationale that was neither convincingly explained nor practically useful, reflecting a fundamental flaw in the hotel's architecture. Regrettably, the hotel fails to justify its steep pricing. The general cleanliness was subpar, with dirty common areas. The room's design was confusing and seemed haphazardly patched together, lacking the finesse one would expect from a so-called luxury establishment. The dining experience was a significant letdown. The quality of the food was abysmal, and the pricing was exorbitant. A simple breakfast of bagels, muffins, yogurts, and coffee astonishingly totaled $120, which is beyond justifiable. Additionally, the ambiance around the pool area was far from relaxing. The blaring techno music and a solitary DJ seemed out of place and did little to enhance the experience. Overall, The Luxury Hotel comes across as disingenuous in its marketing, projecting an air of luxury that it fails to deliver. The surrounding area also left much to be desired, detracting further from the overall experience. In conclusion, based on my experience, I doubt the longevity of this establishment in the competitive hotel market. What can I say.... The staff, the rooms, the location the the concierge, Fernando was over the top!!! Great recommendations PLUS being from Oklahoma my husband wore his cowboy hat every day. This young man was given a beautiful hat that he thought he would wear but his wife said otherwise he gave it to my husband and it was a perfect fit! Beautiful luxury hotel overlooking Biscayne Bay in Miami. I don't have many words aside from that. It was a great experience from start to finish. Valet service is prompt. Rooms, gym, pool and common areas were very clean. Bonus points for having a wraparound balcony (accessible from each bedroom ), full kitchen, in room espresso machine, utensils and cookware. I traveled from the bay area to Miami for a cruise. I booked this room in advance through priceline and prepaid room rate and tax as well. After my cruise ended, I came to the elser hotel to see if I could check in early. I arrived at the hotel in my Uber, im physically wheelchair bound so their valet is right off the street but my Uber driver decided it would be more accessible to let me out in their driveway. The attendant outside began to yell and scream at my driver and dismissing the fact that he had someone in a wheelchair. Talking to him as if he didnt know English. Uber driver parked in the valet section and I needed assistance to get out the car because the curb was too far from the car and definitely could fell and hurt myself because there was no type of ramp, unless i wouldve rolled in the street to get the driveway we were dismissed from. Check in was smooth by that I'm time already frustrated on how the attendant handled the situation by yelling at the driver. The hotel was able to accommodate, I told the check In person that I already prepaid for the room and tax about $300+ and to put the incidentals on my personal card She didn't believe me so I showed her my confirmation from priceline. Once I get to my room 4502, I shower and I am ready to lay down for a quick nap. The bed frame wasn't properly in place so when I laid in bed the whole mattress caved in and thankfully I didn't fall. Called maintenance and they came about 30 mins to fix it The room was great, the view was great but the toilet leaked in the bathroom. I checked out that morning for my flight back home. I never got the bill because my email wasn't on file. Called the next day to obtain my bill and realized my card was charged for room rate and tax. Called and and spoke to guest Services but they weren't much help, told me to email the managers for questions. I sent the email waited another 24hrs for a response but got nothing. I called again and by this time I'm getting frustrated because I just wanted some answers to my bill. Finally guest Services connected me to someone at the front desk and they told me I had to follow a procedure, which i did but wasn't getting no response. Front desk person told me they will get back to me soon. By this time It was my 3rd day calling so I waited to hear back but didn't get a response that day. Finally got an email of a refund but was still charged an additional money for all these hidden fees like: amenity fee $59, state tax amenity fee $4, and a city amenity fee $3. On top of the prepaid room rate and taxes i already paid when I booked the room. I felt like i waa back home in San Francisco with all these fees. The hotel is great but the service is horrible. Next time I visit Miami I won't be staying at the elser again. read more

They upgraded us to a 3 bedroom though we only needed two. The view was great from our room. The location was acrost the street from restaurants and boat tours and the Miami Heat stadium.
