    if you can move somewhere else I would do so. management here sucks! there's been multiple leaks that have leaked inside the apartment from the roof, management wants put a Band-Aid on it and does nothing else. I've got water stains going down the walls and the crown molding peeling back from the wall and they want to say that there's no active leak or nothing basically wrong and they just wanna throw some paint over it like such a joke. in one year there has been 3 times where water has came in from the roof. two of those times The leaks filled up the glass bowl covering the ceiling fan lights with water because there's so much latex paint on the ceiling. It had to make its way all the way to the ceiling light fixture cut out to leak through. just stay away!!!!!!

    To start off when we first moved in we weren't allowed to view unit due to COVID. We asked for photos or video tour of the unit we would be moving into. I was sent a video tour and floor plan layout from Jessica. Flash forward, we signed our lease and get the keys, we walk in and it is NOTHING like the video. Outdated cabinets and vanities that had water damage, countertops with major damage, bugs in the apartment, brown rotten baseboards, a total NIGHTMARE. Especially when we were paying over $2000 a month. Real "luxury" right? We notified the office immediately, they apologized and said they would fix it. It never was fully fixed, totally half assed. You can never get ahold of the office, so don't even bother. We always have to take time out of our work day to ensure we can walk over there if we need anything. They always are very rude and you can tell they hate their job. I've spoken to many residents and they've all had the same experience. Maintenance is friendly! We've asked multiple times for touch up paint for baseboards and they said we can purchase it ourself. We're paying $24,000+ a year and you can't afford to give us a little paint? Give me a break. They also charged us for a lightbulb $8 and wouldn't even come replace it until we paid. I feel like there needs to be some serious changes within the office staff. Every time you need anything they act like it's such an inconvenience. I went to pickup a package that was left in there, I walked in and I wasn't greeted at all. Jessica handed it and turned her back. Customer service is their JOB! Choose another job if you can't at least fake the funk. I wouldn't ever recommend this apartment complex. I have multiple friends who pay way less for much better apartments. Run while you can!

    Living at Avila Apartments in Menifee has been one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had…read more Don't be fooled by the nice exterior or staged model units -- the reality is a completely different story. Management is unresponsive, disorganized, and frankly, rude. Maintenance requests are ignored for weeks (if they're even acknowledged), and when someone finally shows up, the work is usually rushed or incomplete. You're better off fixing things yourself or just living with the problem. Noise is another major issue -- the walls are paper thin. You'll hear every word your neighbors say, every dog bark, and every footstep above you. If you value sleep or privacy, this is not the place for you. The rent is ridiculously high for what you get. They tack on hidden fees and raise the rent with zero justification. And good luck getting your deposit back -- they'll find every excuse to charge you for "damages" that were already there when you moved in. Parking is a nightmare, trash is constantly overflowing, and don't even get me started on the security -- or lack thereof. Packages go missing often, and the gates? Rarely work. In addition they rip you off when moving out with fees that are not legitimate. Save yourself the headache and keep looking. Avila Apartments might look like a luxury complex from the outside, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Living here was a huge regret and the leasing staff is condescending and rude (Chrissy and Crystal).

I suffer from TBI and had to ask questions about early termination fee and etc and they hung up as I was asking and had a huge chip on their shoulders , lack of safety for residence and maintenance is not kept up. Our apartment door keeps being messed with daily and noise constantly occurring after hours we complained but they don't do anything . Also when it's hot and you have ac on ants practically raid the apartment and they have to schedule a week or days out to have an exterminator come in. There is a lot more and we only be here 6 months ... it's why we are leaving

I hired a moving company with 3 workers (professional movers), along with my two sons to help me make a smooth transition to the JEFFERSON AVENAS (5 movers in total). IT NEVER HAPPENED. We are currently displaced at a Marriot hotel in Menifee. All of our belongings have been placed in a storage facility because of the unprofessionalism of the staff members, particularly the assistant manager Erika Slaughter who is part of the GREYSTAR MANAGEMENT TEAM. On a day where I had the legal right to pick up keys when the office opened that day, I was being called the "DAY OF" at approximately 9:30 am (while I was in the middle of moving) and being questioned about what time I would be arriving. We were headed there as early as possible! We had been up since 5am in preparation. I was being asked to come after 12 noon because I was informed that "Cleaning" was still taking place. I arrived at 11:30 am (approximately 30 min ahead of the moving truck) and was treated like I was in the wrong for being early. I was asked to sit in the conference room and wait and that is when I asked for approximately how long? 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour? The situation got worse. At 12:05 pm, we could not be given a time when the apartment would be ready. In reality, the apartment was never ready for us. I was never given the real explanation of things, i never received a "sorry for the inconvenience". Instead there was a heated debate with the assistant manager who was threatening, condescending & unwilling to take accountability. She was not transparent, understanding, nor was she willing to just say sorry. The TRUTH: Carpet was being installed last minute. My moving truck sat outside for a long time (at 200.00 per hour) and I had to make the decision to forget about this place. The Management Team never called me back like they promised. We were left in limbo. At 4:30pm I had to retrieve funds, talk to someone else who was very kind and just move on.

The appliances are of good quality and repairs are made promptly, often on the same day. I doubt I ever waited more than 2-3 days for a repair, and the maintenance team does an excellent job every time. The grounds are kept clean. The landscapers keep the grounds beautiful. It's very quiet. I only needed to make one noise complaint during all those years. The security patrol showed up promptly and took care of it. In the few times we needed to report any kind of rule breaking or disturbance by a neighbor, the office staff was totally responsive. Unlike many other complexes, they never made us feel like we were a nuisance. Instead, they were grateful that we were looking out to help maintain the quality of life in the community. They're on top of everything and always take care of whatever issues come up. They have 2 nice pools and a decently stocked gym. Plenty of guest parking. The office staff always has a friendly greeting and is extremely helpful and efficient. They go above and beyond. If you're in the market for an apartment in Temecula, you won't do better than to get one here! I wish I still lived there but had to relocate for work.

Maintenance was always really fast and professional. Prices are very good especially compared to other complexes in Temecula. I love that there was trees everywhere. If you're looking for a place to live highly highly consider here. You'll love it!
