    Main office and pool area

    I love it here nice, clean, quiet close to senior community. Maintenance always comes when we put in work orders, nice equipment, sauna love that prior management had better equipment for legs etc but still thankful for our work out area. Basket ball courts, pool area is nice for summer; we have 2 so love that. They did close amenities first year of covid hopefully that does not happen again; especially because in summer the pool area is always so nice and refreshing and we need the gym to stay healthy. Jennifer and the staff is really helpful and sweet. Love our home. Been here 2 years

    The gym is open later, but the office closes pretty early v

    Regarding Michelle Morones Assistant Community Manager!!…read more I Just wanted to say thanks for doing such a great job giving me the tour of the complex and units. Michelle was very friendly, very professional and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable speaking with her and asking so many questions. I liked her from the start and i'm glad I came back for the tour after popping in unexpectedly near closing hours. She invited me to come back the next day and I'm so happy about that. The atmosphere with all the trees and the breeze everywhere was nice. It was a quiet complex and the folks I ran into were friendly. The unit I viewed was very nice and spacious. It was clean and smelled fresh. I was looking at the place for my daughter who's moving down from Los Angeles and I have great reviews for her. I would love for her to live here.

This was my first apartment on my own, and back when I initially started living here my 2 bed 2 bath was only $1100... gosh I miss those days haha! I down graded to a 1 bedroom after some time, then moved back into a 2 bed 2 bath once I had a baby. Ive always had a pleasant, loving, informative experience with Mercedez and all the fun maintenance guys. Its like family quite honestly. Ive seen the property go thru i think 2 or 3 new owners, and to be honest Im not the biggest fan of the newest ones. Cantabria was such a beautifully kept up property, and it seems like new ownership either doesnt care about the upkeep, or well.. doesnt care *again this is no reflection of the girls and maintenance because they arent in charge of this* I would just appreciate seeing the property taken better care of. I even miss getting a free carpet cleaning when renewing my lease *first ownership was the bomb*. We will be leaving in a year or so, and I have nothing but loving words for Mercedez and Johnny, love you both dearly, and thank you for always taking exceptional care of me and my family.

I always try to review places with honesty even if I end up having a bad experience I tell it how it is. One factor in a honest review is putting yourself in the management shoes. If you actually do this you have to disregard negative reviews factoring in denial due to bad credit/background checks and also negative reviews due to silly things like miscommunication. Here is my review: Management: They are great. Never had an issue. We even faced a little credit problem but the management showed some leniency and gave us an option to prove our credit worthiness and we been living here ever since. We never pay late. We follow the apartment rules, and because of this we maintain a good relationship with the management. Respect requires respect. Points given: 1 Maintenance: The maintenance guys work as hard as it is possible. To be honest every-time I see these guys they are on the run fixing things and making living here possible. People sometimes mistake maintenance people with machines. Have in mind everything may be falling apart in the same time so have patience. My neighbor upstairs had 2 little kids jumping around in the evenings so my ceiling lights broke. I asked so they can be replaced. They came in a day or two after and replaced every single light and even left a "how to note" for increasing the life span of newly installed lights. Points given: 1 Neighborhood: This is a good neighborhood. Any city from here to San Bernardino has more crime and more drama than here so we chose the right place. We have a diverse group of neighbors with different personalities so people can be quiet (Like us) or load (like my former neighbor) but this is not the management fault. Try to resolve these problems with kindness and patience. You can drive down 215 for 5 minutes and we have a shopping center with every store you can think of. Downtown Temecula only 15-20 mins away. A few Beaches in every direction almost an hour away. Points given: .75 Floors: Attached garage? Sold! Indoor Washer and Dryer? Sold! What else you can ask for? Patio upstairs and downstairs? Sold! Pets friendly? Sold! Points given: 1 Everything else: So far so good! I hope they keep their background and credit check in high regards and only let deserving neighbors in as this place is very nice right now. Points given: 1 Tip to neighbors: Have courtesy for you neighbors (Quiet hours, Pet Nuisance!!!) and for your management. Treat everyone with respect specially the maintenance guys!

There are weeds that are taller than me and I'm 5'6. Spiders are everywhere from the landscape maintenance not being kept up. The pool area has been closed for months because they want to get us a new deck area?! For freaking what!? So you can close the pool from May until now September. It's summer, we pay close to $3000 to be here and we can't even have the amenities we pay for, especially with school age kids who want to swim during summer!! The park they advertise on property has caution tape around it and from what I've heard from neighbors has been closed for over a year. This place is ridiculous. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They don't even give you a discount with the amenities being closed. These people are dumb and choose to do the pool maintenance during summer, instead of waiting after. They don't care about people living here, just want money and that's it.

Not an outline number on what we are paying for. He had to come tell me, mind you I live an hour away now and we split rent. Came back on the 3rd and they gave him a new total! At that time I was not around to give him check. We ran out of time and we had to take it the 4th. But they said they will be charging late fee. How the hell can they do that when they just gave us correct amount on the 3rd? They said "oh renters insurance kicked it" Wouldn't that information be useful to us?? So dumb! Now the day of leaving "oh don't forget your clickers to the gate". I have to drive an hour away for this thing. They couldn't remind me on the 3rd on what to bring. It's just sad how they don't try to help residents. But just willing to charge for everything. The last apartment had a checkout list and even let us know our last move out date. Reminder if we were going to renew or put 30 days. They wanted our businesss. Made us feel good about being there! Complete opposite here!! I can't stress enough. Don't go looking to stay here!

I hired a moving company with 3 workers (professional movers), along with my two sons to help me make a smooth transition to the JEFFERSON AVENAS (5 movers in total). IT NEVER HAPPENED. We are currently displaced at a Marriot hotel in Menifee. All of our belongings have been placed in a storage facility because of the unprofessionalism of the staff members, particularly the assistant manager Erika Slaughter who is part of the GREYSTAR MANAGEMENT TEAM. On a day where I had the legal right to pick up keys when the office opened that day, I was being called the "DAY OF" at approximately 9:30 am (while I was in the middle of moving) and being questioned about what time I would be arriving. We were headed there as early as possible! We had been up since 5am in preparation. I was being asked to come after 12 noon because I was informed that "Cleaning" was still taking place. I arrived at 11:30 am (approximately 30 min ahead of the moving truck) and was treated like I was in the wrong for being early. I was asked to sit in the conference room and wait and that is when I asked for approximately how long? 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour? The situation got worse. At 12:05 pm, we could not be given a time when the apartment would be ready. In reality, the apartment was never ready for us. I was never given the real explanation of things, i never received a "sorry for the inconvenience". Instead there was a heated debate with the assistant manager who was threatening, condescending & unwilling to take accountability. She was not transparent, understanding, nor was she willing to just say sorry. The TRUTH: Carpet was being installed last minute. My moving truck sat outside for a long time (at 200.00 per hour) and I had to make the decision to forget about this place. The Management Team never called me back like they promised. We were left in limbo. At 4:30pm I had to retrieve funds, talk to someone else who was very kind and just move on.

The appliances are of good quality and repairs are made promptly, often on the same day. I doubt I ever waited more than 2-3 days for a repair, and the maintenance team does an excellent job every time. The grounds are kept clean. The landscapers keep the grounds beautiful. It's very quiet. I only needed to make one noise complaint during all those years. The security patrol showed up promptly and took care of it. In the few times we needed to report any kind of rule breaking or disturbance by a neighbor, the office staff was totally responsive. Unlike many other complexes, they never made us feel like we were a nuisance. Instead, they were grateful that we were looking out to help maintain the quality of life in the community. They're on top of everything and always take care of whatever issues come up. They have 2 nice pools and a decently stocked gym. Plenty of guest parking. The office staff always has a friendly greeting and is extremely helpful and efficient. They go above and beyond. If you're in the market for an apartment in Temecula, you won't do better than to get one here! I wish I still lived there but had to relocate for work.

Maintenance was always really fast and professional. Prices are very good especially compared to other complexes in Temecula. I love that there was trees everywhere.
