the photos & other reviews made this place look like a great local family restaurant . However, we decided to stop in- what a mistake. The prices are relatively high so you expect a decent meal- yikes. four of us ordered and all 4 meals were NOT WORTH eating. The Churassco steak was literally chewy tough meat on a plate, no seasoning and could not be cut- it was a big piece, but it's supposed to come with french fries, but didn't then when we asked for the fries about 20 minutes later they brought them and of charged us $4 for them - the fries had no taste. No salad dressing for the salads. Which were literally just shredded, iceberg and tomato. My favorite food is steak & fries... i should have been excited. The salad looked like a McDonald's big mac topping without the burger. The pork chops were so dry & tough and the white rice smelled like a mildew towel and sweaty feet. The pasta tasted like a bottle of expired wine mixed with tomato paste. It was so bad. None of us ate - and we always eat! on top of all of that, the bathroom was disgustingingly filthy like a 711 on a hot summer day. My family and I love to eat and none of us ate any of it. The people working g there were sweet but seriously do not know how to serve or cook. Steak & fries should come with fries. Salad should come with dressing. If two people are sharing two meals after asking twice for an extra plate three times, a plate should arrive. Maybe this was an off night, but not one thing was even remotely decent-

This is a great casual atmosphere with high quality food. As far as we can tell, all the dishes are made FRESH! Empanadas and pizza were excellent! Clean and cute theme. The waitress was very attentive. Bonus: the ice cream shop attached!

The sausage sandwich, a cold sausage! The bacon cheese burger, not saying the bacon was undercooked, it was raw!!! Will never go back!

We showed up tonight to celebrate my birthday (today), my hubby's (Monday) and our daughter in…read morelaw's (this past Thursday). Couldn't think of a better place to eat, drink and be merry at! Tonight was "trivia night", which, while we didn't play, we did enjoy trying to guess the answers. Our grand daughter's face was a big "O" of amazement when realizing the upper tables were enjoying roasting their marshmallows at their table...when she was told they were making s'mores...she went nuts! She's so excited to get tableside s'mores! My wings were even better than they were last time since there was an addition of seasonings sprinkled on them along with the dill pickles, but unfortunately, our cheeseburger pizza suffered from not having enough mustard and ketchup base to it, the tomatoes were enormous chunks and so were red onions. It made it very difficult to eat without things falling all over your clothing since they were such huge chunks on top of the tiny pieces of pizza. My husband got the steak bomb sub, son got a pepperoni Stromboli, daughter in law got the Sharon's Brie burger, grand daughter the child's cheeseburger and fries. Our apps were the garlic knots, mild wings (10) and fried cheese curds with sriracha ranch dipping sauce. Everything was okay, except that it took forever for everything to come out, compared to our first visit. Even our s'mores seemed to take forever. The quickest part of the whole visit was the bill . The fella that waited on us the first time was on point. Not saying that the young lady waiting on us was rude or anything, but I think she was trying to do too many things at once and some things just fell by the wayside. Last visit we came in on a Saturday as well, but perhaps some people are just better at multitasking? I don't know. This time, our bill was over $200 with tip, but we still brought home food again. Not a lot compared to the last time, only 2 little pickle wings (I still can't get enough of those darn things!) and maybe 4 slices of pizza. My husband's loaded tots weren't to his liking, so there's something even for the dog tomorrow We may stay away for awhile and see if they manage to work out some kinks. If anything, the best rule is consistency. If the food preparation is not consistent every time you go to eat there, there's a problem. There should be NO deviation just because someone else is cooking it. All recipes should be the same. Twice we've ordered the same items and they've been different. I still recommend this place for great vibes, cocktails, food and the tableside s'mores. There's just nowhere else like it!

There are a few tables outside, right by the door. There are signs that make it clear they are non smoking tables. We decided to eat inside, were seated right away and our server came quickly. She told us what some of the popular burgers were and we made our selections based on that. I had the Jamaican burger cooked medium. This burger was cooked perfectly, had good flavor, was topped with a sweet and spicy jerk sauce. It was everything that I expected. My friend had the Brie burger and his daughter had the smash burger and they both said those burgers were very good as well. Our server was attentive to our needs throughout our meal. I would definitely go back again.

KC Wine Bistro intrigued us with its varied menu offerings. Upon walking in, we were asked to sit anywhere. We chose a table inside, not aware that there was ample outdoor seating just out back. We were presented a menu and my wife and I chose to start with traditional lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT and I opted for the Ribeye Rice Bowl. The lumpias were very good. Freshly deep fried, hot and crispy served with a sweet and tangy chili sauce. My wife liked her BLT and the huge spears of fried potatoes served with it. They were quite generous with the pieces of ahi as well. My dish was equally good with tender and flavorful slivers of ribeye in a flavored rice and grilled vegetables. Service was friendly and attentive. After our meal, I chatted up a lady who I learned was the proprietor and who just happened to be from the Philippines. We'll definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting this establishment. New to the Ocala area, we were actually heading to another restaurant when we seen Cody's roadhouse. We made a U-turn and headed in. I'll To try to get to the point. Food was good, service was absolutely terrible. Our waiter. Will call him. Mr. Z seems out of his element. Drinks took forever, he kept blaming it on the bartender. Yet all of the other waitresses and servers were rolling out drinks left, and right. The food took forever to get to our table. Thankfully, he did bring water at the beginning cause that's all we had left by the time our food arrived. They always have two for one drinks, he asked me if I wanted to refill. I told him just bring me one beer as I was not going to drink an additional two. He rolled around back to the table about 10 minutes later asked how everything was and then realized I did not have my beer. I told him if it wasn't ready when he went to the bar just forget about it. My wife then watched him go wait on three other tables... he never even attempted. He probably never ordered it. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. The table across from us came after us and they were well into their drinks and appetizers before we ever got our meal. We also watched another family of four walk in and walk out before we were finally able to leave. We just want good service, but we are accepting the fact that those years may just very well be behind us. We know it's hard to find good help. I wish this experience would've been mediocre food and excellent service. For the first time I think EVER I left a tip less than 20% because it just doesn't make a difference anymore. However, I will note that my wife watched the other waitresses and servers zooming through tables, bringing drinks and food on time ahead of time. So Mr. Z Also, if you do decide to visit and you do not order a main course, you will not get the nice soft bread that is customary at roadhouse establishments. We watched it go out to every other table. When I asked Mr. Z about it, he told me if you don't order a main entrée you have to ask for it. ‍. I thought maybe when he brought us our check, he would bring us some to go, but this man would not catch a hint if it hit him in the face. No plans to return. Good luck if you decide to go.
