They have a variety of choices, we had a southwest Cobb salad and a chicken tender meal with Mac and cheese and pineapple salad. Everything was great. We have been here MANY times since moving to this area! We have eaten in and also ordered online to pick up. Everything has been great! The breakfasts are wonderful as are their lunch and dinners. Try the Red fish --- YUMMY! And DON'T FORGET to get some rolls!!! Could make a meal out of just one of their humongous yeast rolls. Service has always been swift and servers return to fill coffee or tea throughout the meal. Always "tip worthy". The ambiance is great. The Farmhouse is a metal building where they took an old barn and rebuilt it inside the main building and made it look like a small Farmstead. It's very charming. The food is down home cooking style. We had catfish, french fries, fried okra, and green beans. The catfish came with hush puppies and the table was served with a plate of rolls. The rolls were extremely delicious. The catfish tasted very good as did the green beans. The only downside was the hush puppies and the fried okra were both served a little overcooked and slightly burnt. So we can't really say that those were exceptionally good. The quality of the ingredients was good, but they just spent too long in the fryer. Even so we enjoyed our meal, we enjoyed the atmosphere, and will likely return. read more

Ordered 2 veggie plates with 4 sides. Out of my veggies I will say the asparagus and squash were my favorite, fried okra was good, and the beans I felt were a rip off. You are charged per side and I received a dipping sauce container of beans, my starches were Mac and cheese and the bread roll. Mac was just ok not baked nor crumble topped and my roll you can tell was homemade but not warm. We have been here several times over the past three years and not been disappointed. Our most recent visit was shortly after Christmas when we met family mid afternoon on a Saturday. Service was good as was the food. There is a wide selection of food to chose from. Be sure to try a slice of their pies. Our table tried coconut creme and apple pie with ice cream. Both delicious. With a name like Farmhouse, I really thought it was going to be a simple home cooking kind of place with real, fresh ingredients. I was really disappointed because everything but the dinner roll and the seasoning on the fish just wasn't good. The coleslaw tasted like the stuff you get in the deli section of a cheap grocery store, the hush puppies tasted frozen, my catfish filets were so thin that they were pretty much like ribbons of fried batter, and the mac and cheese tasted like velveeta. But all of that paled in comparison to the pea salad. Yes, it was canned, but I've had decent canned food but this was so incredibly bland. It tasted like old canned peas that were boiled and then made into a salad. The dinner rolls were good and tasted very fresh and the seasoning for the fish was nice. Other than that, nah. read more

Don't even waste your time going here. Still enforcing COVID. Tuesday night 7pm we walk in and the place is almost empty. There is NO ONE in the front area. The hostess tells us that there is a 15 minute wait. Totally understandable. Maybe short on help? Then they proceed to ask us to go wait in our car. We ask why and she says that they don't want to get too crowded. That EMPTY room has to be over 1500 sq feet. Really? We're in the large main room WITH NO ONE ELSE!!! If they are so worried about COVID- where the heck are their face masks??? Been a customer for years, but will never go back. read more

We began our order, my wife told the waitress what she wanted and the waitress asked "What two sides would you like?" and my wife asked what her options were. (The menu was under glass in all different positions and hard to read.) The waitress RUDELY answered "The sides that are LISTED on the menu!!" And my wife told her she did not see the sides nor could she read them the way the menu was. The waitress then rapidly fired off the options. We both got salads with our orders. When the waitress brought them out she put my wife's down, then mine and looked me directly in the eyes and asked "Do you want salt or pepper with that?" but in a not so friendly tone. We ordered a appetizer and when she brought it out she might as well have just thrown it on the table. No 'Is everything ok?', 'Do you need anything else?' or nothing. After we had eaten and paid the bill I spoke to the manager and told her what had happened and how badly we'd been treated. She apologized several times and thanked me for letting me know what had happened. We had been driving since 6am and could've eaten at many many places (we just snacked on the way) but I wanted to eat there since we had before and it had been good. NOT THIS TIME....treatment or food. We wont be back again and I would not recommend it. It wasn't worth waiting all day for. Dinner rolls were good. Salad was fresh and cold but just lettuce and onion. We got macaroni and cheese bites for appetizer. I didn't care for them at all but my wife said they were ok. Besides not tasting very good they didn't look very good to me either. I got fried shrimp (6) with loaded potato. Potato was good. Shrimp were VERY done. Drowned in tarter sauce and cocktail sauce they were ok. My wife got catfish fillets (2) with pinto beans. She liked hers and said the fish was really good. This was our second time there. The first time the waitress was nice and friendly and the food was really good. I don't know what happened this time. Sorry but we wont be back and won't recommend it. read more

A hidden treasure that we stumbled on ! Gorgeous interior decor with homey feel. Old farmall tractor , hayloft and dormers make for a sweet ambience.
