The Avocado Burger and Cajun Sweet Potato Fries

Sweeeeeet! Just because we are out in the boondocks of Richmond... don't count us out on the use of artificial intelligence! This restaurant does such an awesome job of offering an experience with robot waiters and tapping on beer taps with reloadable cards! Who knew... now the flying cow logo makes sense.... My family loved the burgers here. They are freshly made in this restaurant sits actually on an RV park, which is interesting in itself. The restaurant is clean, it's huge. It has kind of a barnyard feel and the cool part is that they offer Wagyu meat for sale in the freezer. right next to it is a large menu with the prices of Wagyu meat you are just not going to find at your local market. Super reasonable prices! They also have tacos, hotdogs and shakes available. We walked out so full - we were walking around that RV park for a while! It's just so nice to have a local place that makes a real grilled burger with fresh vegetables and great bread that truly captures that Americana country spirit! .

During our last visit, our food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. We just got two burgers and 3 sides. With little kids, it can feel like an eternity! They must have been short on staff that day because it wasn't very busy. The burgers are just ok. They claim that they are "Wagyu", but it's hard to differentiate (at least for me). The last two times that I went, my burger meat was unintentionally made well done instead of medium rare. In comparison, Fuddruckers does a much better job at burgers, but they just don't carry the novelty of being situated in the middle of nowhere. The building is an insulated metal warehouse that is partitioned into suites - one is for the restaurant and the other is a mail room. If you want to use the restroom, you'll need to walk over to the mail room suite. Everything is self serve. You order at the counter, grab your own drink, a robot delivers the food to your table, and you clean up after yourself. There is nothing different in terms of service than going to a Whataburger or fast food joint, so don't feel obligated to tip when the payment screen asks you "a question".

Our group of 25 made reservations a month in advance and were told we had to order ahead too. So we were given menus and orders were sent in before we ever arrived. We arrived at 5:55 p.m. and I did not get my plain hot dog until 7:30 pm. The majority of our group had the same problem. They were more concerned with their trivia game than the customers who pre-ordered food. When we went to pay the prices given to us ahead of time changed and they did not want to honor the original prices they gave us. My hot dog was NO good. Meat was dry as was the bun. Tasted old. A very disappointing experience. I will not return or recommend anyone visiting this establishment. Poor management and training with poor quality food.

Sitting across an RV park way down a paved road, The Flying Cow was definitely worth the drive if you're in the Sugar Land area. Traveling down the farm roads, there are a handful of signs that will lead to you this burger joint. Once there, you are greeted by creative flying cow signs and stickers inside, and a sitting area outside on the grass with wooden benches. The menu has plenty of options - from at least 8 different burgers, to hot dogs to tacos (surprisingly!). The Flying Cow definitely shows you how many items actually can be made from beef! I ordered the classic, which is a cheeseburger. The meat was tasty but I wish I ordered medium rare instead of medium (taste preference). The burger was simple and straightforward - sandwiched between two buns laid a thick beef patty, lettuce, onions, tomato, pickles and cheddar cheese. My burger wasn't as juicy as I would have liked, but I'm pretty sure it's because I got medium. I will try medium rare next time. My husband ordered the brisket burger, and it was amaaaaazing. The brisket was so juicy and meaty. They put Cole slaw on top of the brisket and it was, chef's kiss. Definitely try this one if you're here. My son ordered the kid's cheese burger and he seemed to really enjoy it! It was definitely dry for my taste but that's because they would rather not serve a kid red meat, I'm sure! We ordered a large fry to share and it was more than enough for the 3 of us. The fries were pretty good but nothing to write home about. I wish they were seasoned a little bit more. The service was a cute little robot! Love seeing these little robots more often. It comes around and stops at your table, and you grab your food from it. They also have cute shirts and stickers for sale! And their milkshakes looked decadent. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Enchanted Forest Nursery!

This was an excellent burger spot. All sides were tasty too. I had the classic burger with cheddar cheese. I knew it was going to be a hit, since they had cheddar cheese instead of the waxy American cheese served by many other places. Fried pickles, mushrooms and greens beans were delicious! Person taking our order was friendly and super helpful in assisting us on deciding what to order. Almost forgot to say, I really liked the country building and decor.

This place is out of the way and a bit confusing to get to because it's attached to the community center for a mobile substation. It's unexpectedly nice and bright inside. The food was great The staff were polite (although our waiter had little to say ). The restaurant was ultra clean. It was quiet with soft music. We'll definitely be back. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the bathrooms are inconvenient but they were clean.

$15.99 for a brisket Mac n'cheese without brisket and the size of a side in what reminds me of a cat food bowl. Not worth the amount paid. The classic burger was okay. Nothing special to write home about. Ok a positive note, the restaurant has a nice ambience to it. $43.31 for a meal and a half. Yikes!

Sorry last cheese stick. But the mushrooms and Fried Brussel Sprouts

Wow the food was so good!!!! Everything we got was so good. We were a big party and got alittle of everything off the menu. The Brussels sprouts, fries, mushrooms, cheese sticks all were delicious. I got the brisket burger and asked for the jalapeño sauce on the side. Jalapeño sauce has a kick. The burgers were delicious and even the grilled cheese. Definitely a place to check out you won't be disappointed

Pulling into the area it's an rv park. The building the restaurant in is a yellow indiscriminate building. Just park and walk in the door with a small Flying Cow sign. Upon entering, I first noticed how oddly quiet it was. Check out the menu, drool, order, & drool while you wait. There were a handful of other patrons there but the place was so roomy it was quiet. The bathroom is down a hallway where rv owners can check their mail or whatever else. My daughter had the cheeseburger and fries. It wasn't greasy but so juicy and delicious... per my 7 yo who normally doesn't eat meat. She said it was her best burger she's ever had. I'm not a burger person but I enjoyed her fries and Oreo milkshake. I had the wagyu hoagie with sautéed green beans. It was amazing. I can't complain.

Fries. Beneath the one or two whole fries was a LOT of small pieces.

Great burger, nice environment. The shakes are a little on the less passionate side but I wouldn't skip an opportunity to return.

Here's what we tried: Queso & Chips: Super creamy and flavorful. The chips were fresh and had the perfect crunch. Great way to get it poppin'! I orderd the BBQ Beef Hash: It was on point! Smoky, filling, and satisfying. The beef was tender, and the potatoes had a nice crisp. Topped with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs--comfort food done right. Michelle had the Cheeseburger: She commented that it was tasty and juicy. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. The bun was soft and buttery, and the cheese melted just right. Couldn't leave without trying the So' O's (Southern Fried Oreos: Absolutely indulgent! Crispy outside, gooey inside, and dusted with powdered sugar. A fun and nostalgic dessert that's worth throwing all of l the calories away for. The vibe is upbeat and Southern-chic, with quirky decor and a lively crowd of all ages and backgrounds. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are a little high, but portions are generous. Would definitely come back--especially for brunch and those fried Oreos!

Water was dripping on us from the AC vents due to moisture buildup, which made the environment uncomfortable and unsanitary. The food was equally terrible. The crab cake had a strong fishy odor/taste and appeared undercooked - we had to send it back. The table next to us also sent the crab cake back so that's how you know it was bad. My mom and sister both ordered the State Fare Breakfast, and their meals were no better. The hash browns were raw, and the biscuit was so hard like a rock. Even after they brought replacements, the food was still poorly prepared and barely edible. I've never gone somewhere that has messed up hash browns! My dad and I ordered the birria grilled cheese, and that also did not taste good. This restaurant prioritized massive quantities of food over quality. The large size of foods led the food to not be cooked adequately. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't be misled by the positive reviews like I was.
