Monumental Burger (1 patty)

I had a very delicious Monumental Burger (I only got one patty). Our server, MJ, was very nice. The ambiance is nothing special.

Seeing other reviews, we didn't come in with the highest of hopes, but with so many other places already closed for the season, this was where we ended up. It didn't start off well. We waited a long time to be greeted after we were seated, and then we waited for food too. Once it came, however, we were pleasantly surprised. Coffee was delicious. Omelettes and potatoes were good too. I really liked my blueberry muffin that came with my meal. Our daughter liked her Dakota special. Pancakes were delicious. Servers were also seating people, so they were working hard. They could've used more help for sure. Other than the long wait times, everything was great.

This restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating . The food selection was great and it was fairly priced. We had fast and friendly service. The food portions were very plentiful and it was appetizing. Would definitely recommend this establishment as it provided a good environment to enjoy the scenery.

Great place to stop for lunch after visiting Mt. Rushmore! Dog friendly patio and the server kept our dog's water dishes filled. Very friendly staff. The food was great!

I was hungry for a Buffalo burger and wanted an outside table since we had our dog with us. FP is a good, but expensive option in Keystone. FP is connected to the Ramada hotel. The waiter brought me a good IPA from Sioux Falls. I had the Mountain Man Burger, a blend of wild boar, bison, elk, antelope and deer. This was a good burger. Was it REALLY a half pound of meat? I have had half-pound burgers before and this burger should have been a little bigger than it was. The patty didn't even cover the bun. Also not sure of the $17 price tag, but I would order this burger again. The fries that came with the burger were cut thin and chip-like. Very good. My family had the bacon chicken ranch wrap and the Philly cheesesteak. They liked the food, but thought it was a bit overpriced. For outdoor seating, I liked the fact that the tables are on the shady side of Keystone. Not as much people watching on this side, but very relaxing. Restrooms are near the pool area of the Ramada. Service was good, no complaints..

We are indoors and found there were too many flies inside the resale. Also the cloth napkins were damp and smelled awful.

Food was very bland no flavor and it was cold. For the price I would have expected a top notch sandwich.

Unless bilingual don't expect to get your order correct. Nice people but food is . Too many options in the area to repeat again

This was the grossest food I have ever gotten not only from a restaurant, but in general, it was so disgusting. I couldn't even eat it.

The meal was good, but the server was a little pushy, but I guess just not been trained how to serve customers

Popular place with a wide variety of choices for dinner--friendly and attentive service (if you…read moredon't see your server, ask another--they clearly work well as a team) and interesting decor. Starter and food, drinks, etc., are brought promptly to the table. This is exceptional in a highly popular tourist area. The food is good but could use a little improvement--the grilled mahi-mahi was good, but a little on the dry sauce and definitely needed a sauce. A couple of the dishes did have sauces, but fish is why most Creole restaurants like Brennan's will serve a sauce on the side, or a topping with butter such as Trout Almandine. It doesn't have to be a fancy sauce--the option of good ol' tartar sauce works. The grilled vegetables also needed a little more butter and seasoning. Carrots are good on their own; broccoli and cauliflower need a little cheese or butter and some seasoning to be loved. The IPA (Long John) was excellent. The beer cheese dip and soft pretzels were to die for; the chardonnay was passable. A great choice for dining in a VERY heavily traveled tourist destination. Get there early--it starts filling up fast and all the restaurants around Mount Rushmore close at 9.

Beer is pretty good! I enjoyed a flight and we ordered the pretzels + beer cheese and mozzarella…read moresticks and both were just what we were looking for. They brought our puppy a bowl of water and a bone to chew on which was very nice. The patio is spacious and the ambiance is fun. Good spot!
