Owner Jonathan, who I had pleasure to meet is passionate about Art, coffee, and Hawaii and it shows in all his spaces. The gallery is no different. In this eclectic art coffee space he combines island vibes, upbeat morning grooves and Hawaiian caffeine. Love the spot and the coffee. The service is great ! The ladies behind the counter do a great job with the coffee the crowd and all with aloha. Over the last two weeks I've been here a dozen times and every coffee is great and every coffee is accompanied by aloha, great service and all in a cool setting. The art. All for sale, and all eclectic and interesting. It might not be your style but it does bring a nice vibrancy to this space. It is unique and fun. This is a gem in Waikiki. I was hungry midday and passed by this place. It immediately caught my attention: smoothies, açaí bowls, beer, cocktails and art! I went in and the place was empty. I ordered an original açaí bowl, paid, was given a number and told to wait. I kept waiting, and waiting, over 20 minutes, meanwhile there were 4 people behind the counter, and no other customers! A few customers did come in while I was waiting and ordered the $3 beers because it was happy hour. (Great deal, but they were really small beers.). When my açaí bowl finally came out, it was quite yummy! It was full of açaí, bananas, berries, and granola. I thoroughly enjoyed it; but not sure why I had to wait so long! Street and garage parking are available nearby. Service was friendly during our stay! Definitely browse the many art forms around the shop while you wait for your coffee. Plenty of local artists and styles represented! Lots of seating available for those of you looking to take a break from the nearby shopping. We had warm and iced lattes that were both delish! This space has been numerous businesses over the last few years, but the newest is certainly the most fun. With outdoor sidewalk seating, indoor tables, and high-tops, there are lots of comfortable places to take a break while walking around Waikiki. Part art gallery and store, part bar and restaurant, and also a music venue, there's a lot going on here. The art here is mostly pop art; lots of colors and popular culture with a Waikiki or Hawaii twist. It's fun to look at; prices are what you would expect. We mostly stopped in as it was a busy spot. They have a happy hour from 12-7 daily, $3 beers (as of this writing it was Kona Big Wave). They also have a big food menu, which are printed right on the tables. Simply line up on the right to order, food orders are given a number, drinks are poured/made right away. The staff here was friendly and extremely fast, taking care of customers. It's clean and colorful and is family friendly. If you're in Waikiki and looking for something different, it's worth stopping in! read more

I love it here! I've been here in the mornings for coffee, and I knew I had to come back in the evening one night for a drink. Every time I've come in, the employees are so sweet and friendly. The interior of The Gallery is modern and beautiful artwork for sale is displayed everywhere! I wish I could afford some of the art work but I enjoy looking nonetheless. The coffee in the morning when I went was really good and service is quick. I went here for my birthday after craving an espresso martini, so I went to the bar and a nice young gentleman helped me. He sang me happy birthday and made me a beautiful espresso martini and brought it out to me! He was very sweet and the drink was amazing, might be one of the best espresso martinis I've had. Discovered this awesome place while walking around in the morning. Thought I'd try it out and I wasn't disappointed. Welcomed with Aloha love from Tammy. I chose the BACON BAGEL An everything bagel with sweet and spicy mustard , crispy bacon, egg patty and american cheese It was accompanied with a fresh side salad and a cut of pineapple. For my beverage I chose the AROMA AMORE A hot Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha with soy milk I was not disappointed with my meal and beverage choice! The food was delicious and filling. The bacon was perfect and crispy. My coffee was flavorful and I enjoyed it! This place is welcoming, clean and I look forward to coming back here again when I'm in town. Every time my boyfriend and I walked up and down Kalākaua Avenue, we always passed by The Gallery and noted some cool event going on, whether it was live music, some art workshops, and anything in between. We finally decided to swing by for breakfast here since Island Vintage was a long wait and we wanted to make the most of our morning (plus, we wanted to check out this place that kept entrancing us when we walked by). The venue is spacious, with art everywhere and a hip vibe to go with it. Since it's Waikiki, the food is definitely a little pricey considering that it's a tourist area, but that's completely fine. Located on the ground floor in Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger 7am-10pm daily at first glance you already know this place is just different...in a good way!? Fantastic way! As many local business struggled the past two years, collaborations has greatly increased and this place certainly is no different. The incredible collections of art is fun yet beautiful, large to small prints of the beautiful local scenery to local cultural decor. I found myself loving a composition book with graffiti art on the cover as I need a book to scribble on I thought it was perfect. What more do you need than a beverage to enjoy the vibrant decor and vibe here and you can find it all here from coffee, smoothies, tropical cocktails, bubbly all day to art on your cocktails and even your coffee. Came here on my last night in Waikiki and I can honestly say this experience was a great send off. Every drink was made with such care, the staff from the servers to security would check in to make sure everyone is safe and having a great time. The live band is something else! This place always seemed quite popular whenever we walked or drove by, so on one of our last days of the trip, we walked in. It appears to be half art gallery and half coffee shop/bar. The music was so loud in here, I couldn't really hear much. It turned off after the song was over though, not sure if that was because they noticed mine and another baby inside. We stood there for a few minutes without anyone greeting us or saying they'll be with us in a minute. Or maybe they did and we just didn't hear it over the music? We finally ordered and got an acai smoothie. There were several people working at the drink bar but it took a little bit to get our one drink. We had already finished looking around at all the art and went to go sit down. Kinda got the vibe that this place was "too cool" and not the welcoming islandy vibe at all. The drink itself was very refreshing. Not too tart and it was right in between the consistency of a juice and a smoothie. It came in a Hawaiian Aroma Caffe cup so I'm not sure if they partnered with them or if the cafe is just located in this gallery shop. Located in the middle of downtown Waikiki, this location is easy to get to and located by the beachcomber resort. We arrived mid afternoon on a sunday to not very busy location and proceeded to order a ham and egg croissant sandwich and a pineapple mango smoothie with a PB Acai bowl. The ham and egg croissant sandwich was okay. The egg is a general patty and slipped off of the croissant very easily causing it to be fairly messy to eat. The PB acai was delicious! But even ordering a small was too much for me and I ended up throwing away at least a quarter of it. The pineapple and mango smoothie was good but much more ice then I am normally used to having. My only complaint with this location was the music was incredibly loud and made it uncomfortable to sit inside to eat. Came across this place during our morning walk in Waikiki. The ambience is nice, modern and eclectic. The DJ showed up at 9 am and the noise level with the music went up quite a bit. The service was a little slow, as you order from the counter and they bring you your order. But we expected that as it's in Waikiki and it was busy. Unfortunately, my Americano tasted sooo bad that I had my friend try it and she made me throw it out. Even creamer and sugar couldn't save it. Actually the live band was what drew our attention to this unassuming gallery/bar on Kalakaua Ave. Great little place, chill atmosphere and quite popular, with an outdoor sitting area. We came here after making a latte art appointment with Barby (@barbarista) - revisit we've met her upstairs at the Hawaiian Aroma Cafe, but this day, she was working out of The Gallery downstairs at the Waikiki Beachcomber. It's a bright sunny space in the afternoon, and not at all crowded on Super Bowl Sunday. There are local artists featured with prints, sculptures, and other objects d'art available for purchase. An area for DJs to spin, even though there wasn't one playing when we were there. We met Barby and told her what we'd like her to paint and paid her for our latte experience then went over to the register to buy some snacks to accompany them. Grabbed table numbers and had a seat near the windows. Everything matches the Aroma Cafe upstairs, so they clearly share the kitchen. Everything I've had has been good - açai, cookies, waffles. Barby brought out our beautiful custom lattes one by one to our great delight! She's so friendly and warm. And she does amazing work. You can get your art on any drink that has foamed milk, really - any of their flavors, any of their milks (although some of the alternative milks are tough to paint, she will advise) even chai. My problem is picking exactly what to have her do, but she's knocked it out of the park every time. Parking was full, but we parked in another nearby garage for a flat weekend rate. The Royal Hawaiian Center parking is nearby, too. read more

So when you try to order something like avocado toast that they say isn't premade, then you can't add something to that because you have to go upstairs. No option for small iced coffees only medium. Breakfast sandwiches come with chips to salad (who wants chips or salad for breakfast) but not fruit salad. It's just a lot and nothing at the same time. It's my fist local spot and 10 out of 10 wouldn't recommend.
