Bruh this place has superb vibes, DON'T miss if you love live music, low lighting cafes, great food during Happy Hour and good cocktails. Live music starts from 8pm onwards and it's a blast! We got in during the happy hour and ordered a Beer, Mai Tai and got Margherita pizza. Pizza tasted good though it was a Naan base! We even got Popcorn on the house as the night progressed with great music. Must visit place on the Waikiki Boulevard.

12 oz Tropics Bowl

Eclectic, nostalgic, vintage vibe featuring cool artwork. Craved for a light, power breakfast of acai bowl. Biggest challenge was finding a place within walking distance in Waikīkī that makes acai bowls without banana and chocolate. Excellent customer service from gentleman that answered my questions, took my order including female server who brought breakfast to the table. Immensely grateful to the staff for offering and making 12 oz Tropics Bowl. Aesthetically appealing creation garnished with paper umbrella. Top quality and fresh ingredients of acai, granola, diced kiwi, diced pineapples, diced papayas, sliced strawberries, shaved coconut, sliced almonds, bee pollen, plus honey. Loved everything about combination of sweet, tart, acidic, nutty flavors, crunchiness from granola, and various textures. There's also a mini trash can on counter to return used stainless steel spoon. 15% kamaʻāina discount available. Option to dine in or to go. Would definitely return and upgrade to a 16 oz Tropics Bowl.

This space has been numerous businesses over the last few years, but the newest is certainly the most fun. With outdoor sidewalk seating, indoor tables, and high-tops, there are lots of comfortable places to take a break while walking around Waikiki. Part art gallery and store, part bar and restaurant, and also a music venue, there's a lot going on here. The art here is mostly pop art; lots of colors and popular culture with a Waikiki or Hawaii twist. It's fun to look at; prices are what you would expect. We mostly stopped in as it was a busy spot. They have a happy hour from 12-7 daily, $3 beers (as of this writing it was Kona Big Wave). They also have a big food menu, which are printed right on the tables. Simply line up on the right to order, food orders are given a number, drinks are poured/made right away. The staff here was friendly and extremely fast, taking care of customers. It's clean and colorful and is family friendly. If you're in Waikiki and looking for something different, it's worth stopping in!

I love it here! I've been here in the mornings for coffee, and I knew I had to come back in the evening one night for a drink. Every time I've come in, the employees are so sweet and friendly. The interior of The Gallery is modern and beautiful artwork for sale is displayed everywhere! I wish I could afford some of the art work but I enjoy looking nonetheless. The coffee in the morning when I went was really good and service is quick. I went here for my birthday after craving an espresso martini, so I went to the bar and a nice young gentleman helped me. He sang me happy birthday and made me a beautiful espresso martini and brought it out to me! He was very sweet and the drink was amazing, might be one of the best espresso martinis I've had. The vibes are chill and I could easily hang out here at any point in the day. You must come here!

Discovered this awesome place while walking around in the morning. Thought I'd try it out and I wasn't disappointed. Welcomed with Aloha love from Tammy. I chose the BACON BAGEL An everything bagel with sweet and spicy mustard , crispy bacon, egg patty and american cheese It was accompanied with a fresh side salad and a cut of pineapple. For my beverage I chose the AROMA AMORE A hot Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha with soy milk I was not disappointed with my meal and beverage choice! The food was delicious and filling. The bacon was perfect and crispy. My coffee was flavorful and I enjoyed it! This place is welcoming, clean and I look forward to coming back here again when I'm in town. Btw they also have cute items for purchase. I picked up some stickers for my hydro flask.

Every time my boyfriend and I walked up and down Kalākaua Avenue, we always passed by The Gallery and noted some cool event going on, whether it was live music, some art workshops, and anything in between. We finally decided to swing by for breakfast here since Island Vintage was a long wait and we wanted to make the most of our morning (plus, we wanted to check out this place that kept entrancing us when we walked by). The venue is spacious, with art everywhere and a hip vibe to go with it. Since it's Waikiki, the food is definitely a little pricey considering that it's a tourist area, but that's completely fine. We ordered the following: - Bacon bagel with salad - Ham & cheese croissant with chips - Hot caramel macchiato - Iced dolce and banana The food was great and the drinks woke us up and were not overwhelmingly sweet. Staff were chill and the space itself was full of energy just by decor alone. I loved the art and how this spot offers a blend of options from coffee and alcohol to art workshops and live entertainment!

What a fun vibe! You'd think this place would have difficulty with branding, but you come inside and you know exactly what it is--a gallery with good food and a DJ. Why not? We had breakfast here and our eyes and ears feasted as well. Come check it out! We'll be back tomorrow.

This place is definitely a vibe. The happy hour sign (12-7 daily) caught my eye. I love all the art work scattered throughout and the soothing music floating through the air. The servers created me with an "aloha" and a smile. Nice touch. The mai tai was a little sweet but nice. Can't really complain since it's $5.

Live music nightly. I've been on Sat, Sun, Mon and a Tuesday night. All of the bands/groups sound amazing. It just depends on their song selection. Bartenders are quick and attentive. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Good mix of locals and vacationers.

Coffee and breakfast restaurant by day and bar by night! Very cool bar at night with very unique drinks, loved how they are named after modern artists. You can view art they have on the shelves as you sip. They also had live music as well! It was definitely a vibe!

Besides the cashier looking a bit "annoyed" the food was great and filling! The coffee was delicious. I enjoyed sitting inside and looking around at the local artists art that's displayed.

You know me..this is fun..it's on the shopping strip..walk in and browse the wares on the shelves..it has graffiti skater art..it has cartoons..it has all the lifestyle things of people like me in Honolulu. It was heavy and has a price. Maybe on the internet you can ship it..I got a wood postcard of "Duke" and a sticker. They have food....it's fun and there's people..I didn't go to HERMES.

Came here, ordered, paid, place looked legit, and pretty. Waited for over 40 minutes for our food. Went to check on the process, she said they never got our ordered. Showed the receipt, cancelled the order, and left.

And honestly, they are small for the price you pay. They all tasted amazing, but it didn't blow me away enough for me to say I'd go back for the brunch. The service was also subpar because they barely checked in on us and we had to wait the longest time to get a water refill. I may go back to try the dinner and maybe the drinks and hopefully it will be better.

To my surprise, on a Sunday evening after having dinner nearby at Maze, my wife and I walked over to Bar Leather Apron and we were able to get seated right away! In fact, around 7:30 p.m. when we stopped by, there was actually a ton of seating available in the bar. Who would've guessed. If you're in the same boat as me and are unable to find a reservation for your upcoming visit, I would encourage you to stop by and try a walk-in. The first page of the menu lists a wide variety of whiskey based cocktails. Most -- if not all, of the cocktails are pre-fixed with BLA (Bar Leather Apron), and represent a collaboration with the named distillery. If you're fan of whiskey, you'll definitely have a difficult time picking only one. I ultimately ordered their "Take Warning" -- 2021 BLA Knob Creek BLA Single Barrel, Cynar, Carpano Antica, Mezcal, Bergamot Salt. Drinks here are not cheap -- averaging $20 to $25 per drink. Although my drink was very spirit forward, it still felt very well balanced. I appreciated the hint of smokiness from the mezcal that rounded out the end of a sip. Service here quick and friendly. When we received the check, a cute small chocolate snack was brought over as well, borrowed from the menu at Maze. Overall, I can see why Bar Leather Apron has earned so many accolades in its field. Definitely worth a stop by if you enjoy the art of mixology.

Tucked on the second floor of a Piikoi Parkway building, it feels like stepping back in time, a true bespoke bar with vintage art, moody lighting, and comfy couches that make it perfect for couples or a night out with friends. I went with the Barreled Old Man, a smooth, layered mix of bourbon, rye, and brandy that just worked, while my wife's Sesame Veil brought a nutty, balanced flavor that stood out. For round two, the Espressing My Love was a great take on an espresso martini, and Michael built my wife a custom drink off her favorite flavors and nailed it again. We paired it with the smoked mozzarella and salami grilled cheese and Ho Farms tomato soup, and this is where it really hit. The sandwich came out hot and crisp, and when you took a bite the cheese pulled away just right, that perfect melt, with the salami adding a savory kick. The tomato soup was fresh, bright, and made for dipping you didn't want to stop. We were welcomed with a table that had our name on it, a small touch that goes a long way. I mentioned that it was just a general question and i wasn't coming that night. They informed me that it's validated for two hours and it's first come first serve. After the 2 hours its $14 an hour. Getting into the valet area was stressful enough as there was a car parked right before you turn and pedestrians that walk back and forth from their main driveway entrance. I also had to wait for valet for a bit too as there was 2 other cars in front of me and probably only 2 valet on duty trying to move cars forward. Reservations can be made on open table, but there was really no point to doing that since it's open seating during happy hour times. We ended up just picking a table that was in the shade, and noticed they only have their menu by QR code which is kinda annoying. The server was pretty nice tho and he brought my dog some water mid way. Their happy hour runs from 2-6 and the menu is slightly less expensive. The food was kind of standard hotel type of food and nothing really stood out. Otherwise the vibes at the restaurant was nice and i do like that they allow dogs to join you. it seems like they have live music after a certain time. I was even more annoyed and stressed with the valet when i went to pick up my car. They literally just handed me my keys. My car was parked along the wall probably 20 steps away, but they could have at least taken out my car cause it was so hard to get out, but i guess it's nice they trust that i wont bang the car in front of back of me i guess even tho im a pretty terrible parker. at the time they didn't look as busy as when i first arrived, so i dont know why they couldn't have just done the bare minimum with just pulling out my car from the stall.
