It's a great place to get some good food and drink. I was there on Saturday and had the a Smashburger and a bowl of chili, both were delicious. My friends were drinking some fancy beers. I came here for lunch and I was skeptical since it said pizza and beer on the sign. We ordered the Cobb salad and bbq smashburger and both were better than expected. Also the season fries were very good as well. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other things on the menu. read more

Two words, PIZZA OVEN. Picked up a BYO pie (mushrooms, Italian sausage, basil and parmesan) and truffle fries. I could taste the mushrooms, something I haven't truly tasted on a pie before. The dough is light, like it should be. And the truffle fries.....subtlety....and so good....will be visiting again. No pics this time....didn't feel like sharing today. I got the cheesesteak sub which was absolutely delicious! They asked if I wanted fries with it but I declined and they provided chips which I didn't realize would come. I also got water. The ambiance was nice. The total price was $18.00, which 1) is odd given that the menu says the cheesesteak is 15.00 and tax wouldn't push that to 18, and 2) that is a price I would expect in my former residence of Los Angeles, not Frederick, Maryland. All in all, great food, but the sky high price drives me away. read more

Pizza crust was burned and the service was poor. We were three of seven people in the restaurant so it wasn't that the server was slammed...it took over twenty minutes for her to get two beers out of the cooler and to our table. Not going back. read more

Went there on Saturday March 25th around 6:30 or so. No one sitting at bar but most tables had people that had already been served. We waited at least 15 mins without anyone helping us. We actually had to locate a menu assuming someone would come but never did. We walked out when we noticed server in back doing nothing. I revisited The Garage and the service was fantastic! No issues whatsoever and the food was great. Not sure what happened during the previous visit but the service and food were very good during my second visit. read more

Ordered the wings in the Attaboy beer BBQ sauce, a large Meat pizza, and a large The Garage Hawaiian and a few soda's. The sauce in the wings was okay, but I didn't find it anything special. The Pizza's were cooked damn near perfect, I say that as a chef who has his own wood fired clay oven in my backyard. The toppings on the pizza were well balanced and proportionate. The Hawaiian is a great concept except it was missing something to balance it out, we were thinking a light saucing of a BBQ sauce. Service was adequate and friendly. I was disappointed when I ordered a Diet Coke and got a can. When you have beer on tap, it's not hard to also have fountain soda. Overall it was good but I would not call it great. read more

Went to food truck and they only have sandwiches. Ordered two Grilled Cheese sandwiches and a bag of potato chips and the bill was $38.69 which I consider a complete rip off. You go to the online menu and then realize the truck only has two sandwich options which is a bait and switch if you ask me. Grilled cheese sandwiches were good, but they must be at these prices. read more

After learning this place was around the corner for me, I decided to give it a shot one evening. There are plenty of seats at the bar as well as 8-10 tables. I'm sure during the warm weather months opening their outside area makes the space feel bigger. They have tons of beer options for every taste! You will find something you like here. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! We had the buffalo wings and a pizza. The wings were hot, fresh, and sauced perfectly. The pizza had an excellent char and was delicious as well. 14$ for a 2 topping 14" pizza is a very reasonable price, especially for one this good. Service was quick and attentive! We love food from The Garage's food truck so we were excited to hear of the opening of their brick and mortar location. Finally had a chance to go tonight. The menu features food truck favorites but the new star is brick oven pizza. Their perfectly balanced ingredients with the char of the brick oven is mouth watering. I ate a slice or two too many and not even regretting it. We also love the pairing with local breweries (local supporting local!) featured on tap and in sauces. In addition to pizza we tried the wings which have an Attaboy wing sauce, would recommend! My 3.5 year old is a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur and devoured half of a smash burger (double patty! Note: in true 3yo fashion only meat, cheese and bun.) Can't wait until we can go back, especially if it is when the garage door is open to the outside. Love the Steak N Cheese. I usually eat my boyfriends fries which are amazing plus eat the homemade chips. The burgers look amazing there also but I'm a Steak N Cheese girl lol. I've had the pizza for this past Super Bowl and it was also great. I tried the mushroom pizza and the cheese. Service is good and a great place for take out. Always fresh and quality ingredients. If you are a cheap person this may not be for that demographic but I think the value is good! I'd rather pay $15 for a steak n cheese than save two- threes dollars less for steakems quality and frozen fries. read more

I decided to try this place because I drove by and saw the big sign and thought oh I've heard of that place before maybe I should try it! I went into the parking lot. I went up close to the building. You couldn't really tell whether they were open or not. There was a little tiny sign in the door saying open, but it was extremely hard to see! I had read some really good reviews on Facebook!!! So I went in and someone asked me if they could help me and I said well I'd like to sit down and eat! It would be nice if she had said hi how are you? Would you like to sit down? so I looked at the menu, which is very limited! I decided to order the prime rib sandwich with Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise! I had never received a sandwich that was all packed as if it were to go when I was eating at the restaurant!!! When I open the package and saw the sandwich, I was a little confused because it did not look like prime rib! I called the waitress over after taking a couple of bites, and asked her if this was prime rib! And she said yes, it is our prime rib, and I asked her why they chopped it up into tiny tiny pieces! Chopped up so much that I couldn't tell that it was prime rib! The waitress proceeded to tell me that they chopped it up like that, so that their customers don't have to really chew it!!! I found that to be a very strange way to answer my question!!! I have never had a prime rib sandwich like that!!! There are a ton of places around here that serve prime rib sandwiches that are wonderful!!! And they come with french fries, and no additional cost!!! I was very dissatisfied with this sandwich because it was minced up so much and there was not very much meat on the sandwich at all!!! Needless to say, I will never go back!!! To expensive for what you get!!! And I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere! Seemed very cold to me not very inviting!!! The Facebook post and the reviews on here are quite shocking! Reading how wonderful this place is I don't get it. People must not require much of the places that they go out to eat at!!! read more

I have loved the food and the service from the food truck- but was pretty disappointed in the restaurant. The pizza crust was burned and I ordered a salad which was so late that we ended up taking it to-go because we were finished all the other food by the time it came out. So good! I finally made it to the restaurant; I've loved their food truck since discovering it a few years ago. Everything was so delicious. I got the Italian and truffle fries and my friend the steak and cheese and chips. Had I know the chips were as good as they were I would've gotten those.
