I went here with my husband and dog. It was a very nice day and we just wanted to sit by the water and chill. We snacked on a few item which were all good and our dog loved all the wonderful attention. I think the only negative thing was that they did not have much soda options. read more

Place has potential but service and atmosphere need a lot of help. When we arrived the music playing was Slayer which is not the best for a family lunch. Then once we were seated the water took 25 minutes and eventually we flagged down a server and ordered food. Eventually the food came but we had no silverware or napkins after waiting another 10 minutes for that. Good luck with refills. I understand being short staffed but the real issue was the attitude of one one the hostess who was very condescending despite our being very patient and kind despite the slow service. read more

New favorite beer place in Las Colinas right on Lake Carolyn! I love their rotating beer menu, featuring very cool craft beers from both Texas and other states. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about what beers they have on tap and are super friendly. They have a nice patio with quite a few seating options where you can see the lake and people watch. Inside, they have giant Jenga, Connect 4, and some other games for you. I haven't tried much of their food menu, but I love to snack on their waffle fries and sriracha ketchup! Parking can be a hassle, especially after 6PM. If you can park somewhere nearby and walk over, that's sometimes your best bet as the parking garages and lots around it are usually filled with other cars skulking around for parking. read more

stopped in for lunch this afternoon and had a wonderful time! the bartender greeted us right away after we grabbed seats at the bar. super knowledgeable about all of the beers on draft as well as the rotators. we were able to grab samples of them before we committed, which i always love. we started off with fried pickles. these are spears, but way thinner than most. almost like pickle fries. they were a little on the salty side, but full of flavor. the chipotle ranch was excellent. for lunch, my husband got the french dip and i got the garlic parm wings. they came with bleu cheese, but i opted for ranch. the wings were loaded with garlic parm paste and i loved them! the french dip was awesome and my husband said to get extra horseradish and au jus for the sandwich. the siriacha ketchup was the perfect balance of tangy and spicy! we'll be back for brunch soon! read more

Incredible location in Irving Texas position perfectly on the canal in the Las Colinas area. The atmosphere was very laid-back and relaxed they had all sorts of beers and the best part was the draft root beer that was the best I have ever had. Iv Been to this restaurant a few times already. The place is great for people watching and having a good night out. It's right on the lake so the view is amazing. The only reason I am giving them a 3 star is because the times I have called to place an order and requested specific Items for example. I wanted a BLT sandwich one night they have all the products to make it but they couldn't because they couldn't "Charge me" for it. I absolutely LOVE The Gingerman! It was one of my favorite things about living in Las Colinas. They have a STELLAR beer selection, and I love being able to try the beers from around the world. Their food is good, comfort pub food. The beer tastings that they host were always fun with great giveaways too! It has friendly vibes, and I can always count on Joetta, Maygen, and Jason for great and friendly service. My fiancé and I always felt welcome there. I have been a a few Ginger Man's and this new one is very nice. Great location on a corner in the newest area of Las Colinas, overlooking the canal and fountains. Service was quick and friendly, beer list was decent. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife had the French dip with a side salad. Her salad and my sandwich came out together, a little strange but they are still new. No forks or knives or salt or pepper, I ran in and got our server's attention and he was quick to get it to us. Here is the part I had an issue with. I explained I just wanted the chicken and bread only for my sandwich, "With the sauce?" I was asked, "Yes, absolutely" I replied. What I received were two fish stick looking chicken tenders on a bun with a dab of sauce in the center of each. This not at all like Nashville hot chicken I have had in the past. Usually it is a breast with excellent breading and completely sauced in spicy goodness. My wife's salad came with a vinaigrette, not the ranch she was told, but they went and got her some. Her sandwich came out not long after and she said it was good. For $13, a two chicken tender sandwich with waffle fries seems a little steep. I am sure we will be back to try something else, but I won't be having that again. read more

Lance gave us attentive and courteous service and we enjoyed our experience very much. We sat inside at a tall table near the bar, the ambiance was great and the wall of taps pretty cool. Great outdoor seating available too. My teens loved the pint of Saint Arnold's root beer, I was glad we could bring them in for dinner. Very neat location. I had an appointment in the area, I live in Oak Cliff about 30mins away, so I decided to beat the traffic and get a beer and some food before hand, and happened to stumble across The Gingerman. Happy hour is M-F, 3-6 pm so it was perfect! Great beer choices and 1/2 off flatbreads! I got the Margherita flatbread ($5) and it was awesome! Great daytime spot and good place for a date night. Cool atmosphere with a sweet patio set up right next to a pond. Hidden gem! Highly recommend and will for sure be back to try more food! The second time I visited this place I was very upset. It was a complete disappointment. We literally got up and left. We were sitting at the bar waiting for the bartender to serve us and they didn't even greet us. That is very important to me! I say "hi" to the bartender and he ignore us. When we left, the bartender was looking at his cell phone (normal). I didn't mean to make assumptions but in this type of job, you have to know that we live in an area with a lot of diversity (cultures) and if you've had a bad day, you should leave personal problems at home. Great pub with good food and drinks. Like the locations no the atmosphere. With their happy hour food menu was a bit more than just flatbreads and dollar off beer. If they had more HH choices, I would probably go there more. The yard house around the corner has half off a ton of appetizers - so you get more bung for your buck there. read more

The wait for a table for 2 was ridiculous. Then, after being ignored for another 20 minutes by several waitstaff, we had to trap a waitress trying to ignore us, and then she begrudgingly took our orders. Sorry to impose on your lack of hospitality. To be fair, the food was excellent and the Guinness pour was good as well. I know everyone Is struggling with help, but be real and tell me we're not likely to get served in less than an hour. I can deal with the truth.
