My husband and I like to bring business clients here when we attend T.H.E. Show at the Hilton. This is our second year doing so. We found the restaurant through a search for dog friendly patios. Our dog is only 10 pounds and stays in a bag the entire time, but it's really nice to be able to have a steak and not have at a fast food restaurant. This time around three of us ordered the short ribs, and people had steaks, and another had the panko crusted halibut. We also started with a few orders of calamari, the Brussels, and an order of meatballs. The service was pleasant and the food was generally good. I did t personally love the sauce on my short ribs because it was sweet. Outside of that, everything was good.
Hidden gem! I love ambiance, everything is very nice and neat. The service was great, very attentive staff. They made sure to get all of our food out quickly and maintained our table throughout. Our server and bartender, Javier, was super friendly and anticipated our needs. The food was delicious, as well as the drinks! Definitely must check this place out!
Very cool and relax spot, with great outside area for summer nights. We came for early dinner and the restaurant slowly got busier but our server was on it the whole time. He was very funny and gave us excellent recommendations. We tried the brussels and the artichoke florets for appetizers and they were delicious, great way to start the meal. He highly recommended the sea bass in curry and I was blown away by it. So flavorful and perfectly cooked fish. The only down side was the rice, they were a few hard lumps that were uneatable. Everyone else enjoyed their meal except for the kids. They didn't like the taste of the burgers. My husband raved about the pork chop and I saw the fried chicken sandwich from a distance, it looked huge. A little pricy but I would love to come back and try a couple of other things.
Celebrated one of my friend's Birthday and had a great time. Our waiter was so helpful whenever any issues arose. This is a charming restaurant in the murals and decor on the walls fit the whole vibe. The food was great, although we did ask for the eggs, slightly undercooked, and the eggs were overcooked. Other than that the rest of the food was great.
We went for Mother's Day and it was delicious. We ordered French onion soup, Ceasar Salad, Beef Wellington, Filet Mignon, Pichana and for dessert Ube Basque cheesecake. Salad was good, nothing extraordinary but good, soup was warm, not hot, so I won't order soup again, steaks were all good but we ordered the picahna medium rare and it came medium well. Wellington and Mignon melted in your mouth. So good! Our waitress was very attentive and efficient. One thing I need to say is that out menus were dirty, sticky and one if them with food, hope they are more careful with that.
I've had the place bookmarked for awhile so I finally made it! Beautiful restaurant! They do validate parking for 90min is really not long enough for fine dining. We came for happy hour because I heard it was good. The deal is $4off all appetizers and few drink specials. I got spicy tuna stack which was tasty! I didn't think it was spicy but once you ate a red pepper, the heat was nice! We split the picanha and asked for medium rare. However it was definitely medium to well on the ends. So a little tough. The arugula salad was nice and the fries were crispy. Service was decent.
We were just here for my son's graduation dinner. We had the best time celebrating at The Goldfinch. The ambiance is incredible. It's a beautiful restaurant and the service is fantastic. The open patio is perfect for Southern California. The food is amazing and the drinks are delicious. Some of our favorite dishes were the Panko crusted mahi mahi tacos, Atlantic Salmon and my favorite, Picanha. The Chimichurri sauce is unbelievable. This is the perfect place for your next celebration dinner.
Great brunch experience! Made a reservation for 2 and was seated immediately - unsure if reservations are needed as the restaurant wasn't full at noon on a Sunday but you never know! The restaurant is located right next to Izakaya Osen (great sushi) and has a parking structure w/ free validated parking. Walking in, the restaurant is very spacious with high ceilings. There was lots of seating and my friend and I were seated in a spacious comfy booth. There were a few groups here that looked like they were having a brunch celebration and this place looked like the perfect place to host one! Food - I ordered the eggs benedict avocado toast and replaced the fruit with home potatoes. My friend ordered the Yogi omelette and replaced the fruit with 1 pancake. We really appreciated that they allowed us to replace the side with a reasonable replacement with no added cost! My eggs benedict avocado toast was great - yolk was perfectly runny, the toast is a yummy sourdough toast, bacon was crispy and the avocado was fresh! The home potatoes was also crispy and a great addition. My friend also really enjoyed her Yogi omelette and pancake. The pancakes are cinnamon flavored and super light and fluffy! I don't really enjoy pancakes often but this one was good. Service was very attentive and came by to check on us often to ask if we needed anything, ketchup, hot sauce, etc. Would definitely come again!
Went there for brunch a few weeks ago on Saturday at 11am. Table for 6. Beautiful interiors. Service was pretty solid by Javier (4.5 stars), we did have to ask for more drink refills here and there as the restuarant got more filled and busier. Most of the dishes pictured were pretty great. Most all of us finished our food. I had the picanha - perfectly cooked to medium well (light soft pink color), it came with a wonderful arugual/watercress/tomato/parm salad and frites. - Asked for their ketchup and hotsauce I also got their mussels w 2 pcs of sourdough toast. - Mussels were on the small size (like the size of an almond candy?) - The wine sauce w shallots was amazing to dip your bread - A bit salty though towards the end - Sourdough was really great quality - Although I wished the sourdough was more toasted AND hot The one SERIOUSLY meh dish was their beet salad. Nobody else touched it. Big wedges of beets (2 kinds) seemed like out of a can or something (premade), arugula in the center and hardly any dressing. There was a small smattering of goat cheese pcs that served more like a garnish. - Portion was pretty big and could be satisfying - But it just fell short, didn't taste good - I forced myself to just eat the beets with my steak - I asked them to TAKE IT AWAY!!!! Tire of looking at it...untouched by others. Their coffee and tea service was great! Pour your own refills. I got their tropical tea and it was good. Parking validation is only for 90 mins, we were there 2 hrs. I would go back for the picanha, the mussels and the sourdough bread!!! Mmm mmm good. FYI - their bread plates or what you find on the table is extremely small. Their silverware is very heavy so not cohesive. I had to ask for a larger more substantial plate to eat some of the shared dishes.
We hosted my mom's birthday dinner here for 8 people. They had several other larger groups. They asked us if we were part of a group of 30. There was also another birthday group next to us of approximately a dozen. We had calamari and meatball appetizers. No leftovers. Pork chops, new York strip were also popular. I had a nice Empress gin cucumber cocktail. Yummy & pretty. The lovely Bailey took amazing attentive care of our group. She was always there when we needed her. Everyone enjoyed their meal & the experience! Validated parking. Complimentary valet
I was part of a group of 6 that went to dinner for the first time here. The ambiance was nice, upscale and they had bar, indoor and outdoor seating areas. The server was extremely attentive and helpful in questions we had about the menu but also with figuring out alternatives for dietary restrictions. My favorite item had to be the Brussels- the flavor on those things were so good I opted for a meal that also included them with it so I could get more! Apparently I didn't get enough with having to share the appetizer. I was however disappointed with how the Maple Glazed Double Pork Chop was cooked. Yes, it's a thick pork chop, but it was on their menu and they asked how I wanted it cooked and I said well done but unfortunately that's not what was brought to the table... twice. The server did check on our table after we got our food at which point I spoke up about it the first time because the inside was so raw, everyone at the table agreed. It was redelivered to the table and when I sliced into it again (same piece) it was still not throughly cooked. The manager checked on me and showed it to him and at that point didn't want to deal with giving it back again to be cooked again (I'd given up!) - he was very apologetic, they even ended up comping the pork chop, which was nice. The flavors of the pork chop glaze was good, it's just a shake I couldn't enjoy it because the meat wasn't cooked. Overall, all the flavors were good and the table was happy aside from the one item issue noted above. I appreciate the way they handled the situation and would probably give it another go!
Went to Goldfinch for the first time and had a nice overall experience, though the food didn't quite live up to expectations. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. We tried the lobster enchiladas, the sea bass with red curry, and the mimosa flight. The mimosa flight was actually the best thing we had--fun, well-balanced, and a great way to start brunch. The food, unfortunately, felt a bit like an afterthought. The sea bass itself was good, but the rice underneath had some clumps and there was barely any curry sauce, which made the dish feel a little incomplete. The lobster enchiladas had nice flavor overall, but the lobster itself tasted slightly overcooked and there wasn't much lobster in the dish. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a great setting, but the food didn't quite match the quality I was expecting.

The fact that I've been lucky to come across such amazing restaurants is mind blowing. This place has the best ambiance , you can chill here sipping on coffee, come for their amazing happy hour and freshly pressed cocktails or even an event, date night - all the things! The customer service is beyond welcoming and they had great recommendations, which you wouldn't need because everything is so good. I got 2 appetizers- and once we had those we knew we hit a home run. My entree was a pistachio crusted halibut and my fiancé got the filet. We left nothing on those plates!! My two year old got the pasta and these portions are so giving. Not going to lie I did get dessert (I am pregnant don't judge me) crème brûlée for the win. I have nothing but amazing things to say. Todd is the owner and was so nice when he introduced himself at our table. All I can say is ...thank me later. read more
I ate here today and already can't wait to come back. The menu is the best, wide variety of options for everyone. Every single cocktail sounded so good, I want to come back to try all of them. The aesthetic is so pretty, love the gold accents. The service was great at as well. Furikake seabass 4/5 there was a bit too much liquid in the plate that didn't add to the fish but otherwise can't go wrong with seabass Calamari 5/5 Pork and beef meatball 5/5 Matcha Wasted cocktail 5/5 this drink was delicious but my gripe is that when I order a matcha drink I expect it to first be green, also to taste like matcha? This drink was a cloudy white and had no hint of matcha. If I were to guess the flavor without knowing, I'd say it's a yuzu cocktail. read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, vibe, the food and drinks here. Celebrating my bday and my sister in law birthday, we definitely had a feast. What really drew my attention to go here was that they had beets salad with goat cheese. Beets salad is one of the things that I always have to get when I see it on the menu. What I ate: * Tomahawk Ribeye | medium rare| comes with 2 choice of sides This was perfectly seasoned. No sauce needed but I always need Tabasco with my steak and sides * Mashed Potatoes | this tasted so good. I always enjoyed a good mash with steak. * Roasted Root Vegetables | comes with brussel sprouts, carrots, and onions Added a 3rd sides because we couldn't decide which veggies we wanted. We definitely wanted both and no regrets, smart decision we did. * Grilled Broccolini Drinks: * Passion Fruit Spritz | this is what I got and I love it. It is very refreshing. I definitely could have drank more than just one. * That's My Jam | I just love the name of this drink. My sister in law got this one and she enjoyed it. She said it wasn't too sweet. I enjoyed it too. * You're My Boy Blue This drink is a bit strong but yummy. I'm looking forward to going back for brunch, lunch and dinner. read more

I had the lobster roll with French fries and it was very good. The group I was with had 10 people but we all received our food at the same time and the service was great, the server did not rush us but was always there refilling drinks and taking our order. The restaurant is beautiful as well, with beautiful paintings, lighting, and a fireplace outside. read more

Came here for Sunday brunch with girlfriends. Ample parking in the adjacent parking structure and 2 hours are validated with dining. They have an awesome patio and beautiful bar. Sunday brunch allows you to order from both the brunch and lunch menu. I ordered the Vanilla Bean French toast and a French press of coffee. The coffee was delicious - not too dark or strong, perfect for me. They also have cream and a delicious vanilla bean syrup sweetener. The rest of the menu and the cocktails looked very good so I would be back to try more. read more

Perfect for business lunches, GNO, and date night. Which I did all 3 of these at various times. Food is consistent and comes out fast and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. There's a big bar, a nice fireplace patio and the layout can accommodate parties of all sizes. There's also a great wine and cocktail menu. I have ordered and tried every item on the menu and have enjoyed every one of them. Definitely recommend. read more
Got a chance to try the Goldfinch Restaurant out on Sunday for Mother's Day! Now everyone knows you really can't judge a restaurant the same on a holiday as you would an ordinary day and especially not on Mother's Day; however I must say that overall the Goldfinch seemed to be running pretty efficiently for the holiday. The food was very delicious and with the exception of a couple hiccups; I'd like to acknowledge my appreciation to our server Nick and the manager Natasha for providing exceptional customer service in addressing the couple of concerns that I had. I explained to Natasha how appreciative I was that she took the time out to come to our table to check on us and made sure that everything was fine and to our satisfaction. Our entrees, my cocktail, the music and overall vibe was really nice and the star of the night was the Pistachio Chocolate Tiramisu! We will definitely be back! read more
Love that they have bottomless mimosas!! The food was a hit as well. Celebrated a friends birthday with a large group and was able to see a lot of the menu.. they have a brunch specific menu or you can order off the menu.. they had a good selection to choose from. Highlights from my party's order were the chilaquiles, home fries, mussels, French toast and calamari! Also the mimosas were a hit of course. You have an option of bottomless for $25 (served only with Oj) or a flight (two 8oz pours with two juice options). Our server GG handled our orders well and the food came out quickly. Alright OC neighbors! This place is a great spot to visit! Came to The Goldfinch for dinner and I'm so happy we decided to stop by. Making a reservation was easy, parking was easy as well since there's a connected parking structure. At the entrance the host was welcoming, set us to our table. Our waitress was sweet she knew the menu and offered her personal suggestions as we couldn't figure out what to eat. Everything looked promising! Our food was great! It came out in a decent time and was very flavorful! The restaurant it's self was very upscale, kind of a modern boutique feeling with beautiful touches. Service: Excellent Ambiance: Excellent Food: Good I ordered the cocktail You're My Boy Blue and yes, the cocktail was delicious. The mezcal's smokiness was apparent but didn't overpower the overall taste of the drink. The overall presentation was elegant, 10/10 would recommend. The lamb burger was a bit lackluster. The lamb patty was a bit too lean to my liking, though the lamb flavor was definitely profound. Include with the burger was some goat cheese sauce which made it extra gamy. I'm not a big fan of goat cheese which may make this review biased. But I think if they supplemented it with some mint jelly sauce, that would've complimented the burger tenfold. The overall ambiance was very nice, very modern/sleek vibe. Service was great too. Would recommend for any afternoon/early dinner occasions. read more
This restaurant is sooo beautiful. The service and food make it even more amazing! We made reservations for Valentine's Day after hearing our friends talk about this place. You have to park in the structure adjacent to the restaurant. Be sure to bring your ticket with you as you can have it validated after your dinner. The ambience of the place is very relaxing; it's bright inside and quiet enough to have a nice conversation with your friends or loved ones. Upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and with the friendliest, most positive attitude. With reservations, we were seated no more than 5 minutes after checking in. Throughout dinner, we were checked upon often and food was brought out with good pace. I highly recommend trying the brussel sprouts. The dish was very flavorful and addicting to eat. I enjoyed it more than the berry cobbler dessert we picked out, haha. I would definitely come back here as well as recommend this place for date nights or celebrations. read more

Well the restaurant is beautiful. Let's start there! Lots of windows and natural light. The service was impeccable. I was with a large group of about 12 and they were able to comfortably accommodate us on a Saturday afternoon. Our main server was awesome, but I can't remember his name grrrr. The bathrooms were nice! I'm a stickler for nice restrooms. My omelette was delicious and those potatoes that come on the side were the best I've ever had. They were flavorful and soft like I like them. I don't like hard, crunchy breakfast potatoes yuck! My friend and I got bottomless mimosas for only $25 and when they say bottomless, they MEAN bottomless. Our glasses were overflowing. I would definitely visit again. They have an extensive menu for brunch. You can dress up or down. Parking was $4.50 with validation. read more

Very laid back but cute spot by the Orange County Airport. I sat at the bar and every bartender and bar back was super friendly and attentive to refills & orders. I ordered the season Hibiscus margarita which was very well done and for the meal I had the Knife & Fork burger - THAT BURGER HIT! It was so tasty... messy, but tasty! All the flavors in that burger put together are amazing. I would definitely come back. They should honestly play more music and change the genres to give variety and I think this place could be something. Thanks Goldfinch! read more

What a breath of fresh air in the OC!!! As soon as you walk in, you can tell that this restaurant is going to provide you with a very unique experience. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by our server and was able to place a cocktail order! Shortly after they arrived and we're AMAZING!!!!! You can really tell that their mixologist are well experienced! For starters, we had the best salads (Cesar and Arugula) salads. For the main course, the server recommended the short ribs which was some of the BEST I have ever had! We ordered my son the chicken strips and fries and even they were delicious. A friend of mine and I dined here on Sunday 12/16/22 after I competed at the IBJJF NoGi Worlds (Jiu Jitsu) tournament to celebrate my shiny new Silver Medal :) We made reservations on the way there, but turned out we didn't need them because the place wasn't packed at all. But I always recommend making reservations. The decor inside is modern. The menu is stacked with healthy and very creative choices. I ordered the prime rib dip (thinly sliced prime rib, French roll, au jus & creamy horseradish with fries). My friend ordered the spicy fried chicken jadori with mashed potatoes, pickles, spicy sauce & brioche bun with fries. Both entrees were flavorful and plentiful... Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There's parking in the garage adjacent to the restaurant. Be sure to get a ticket (from Gold Finch) for parking validation. If you're looking for a trendy vibe with good food and drinks, definitely check out The Goldfinch. read more
Came here with my gfs for my friends birthday dinner. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. I could not decide a favorite dish that I would order if I went there again because everything was just so good! I guess I'll just have to order everything again! Our waitress was very nice even though we had a little too much "fun" with all the delicious cocktails and food. The decor was very modern amd I love the high ceiling with lights. read more

Server was super attentive and sweet. My friends and I came on a Sunday morning and it was not busy so we had really fast service and enjoyed all of our meals. The bottle of champagne and orange juice couldn't be beat at just $25 for the 3 of us! I ordered a typical American breakfast but the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, potatoes were amazing, and the toast was yummy too. read more

Came to Goldfinch for brunch and it was such a cute place for brunch with great service and food! Drinks were also very good (and strong) and served in cute glasses! Parking is in a structure, and is free with validation (just make sure to ask the hostess to give you the validation bar code before you leave) For food we ordered: - Calamari appetizer - Ahi tuna lettuce wrap with rice - Lobster Roll - Chicken Caesar Salad Everything was fresh and so good! read more

Brunch goes to 2pm and we tend to do last call for bottomless 20 or 30 minutes after that
Do you need a reservation to be seated?
No- we suggest you make one even day of but we try to always keep some tables open for guest who walk in. During the week it is generally no issue but the weekends and brunch can be pretty busy.
