I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but not something this stellar!…read more I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Taco, and it was a flavor bomb! The shrimp were very flavorful and the whole thing just came together nicely. Yum! Second was a kid's menu Quesadilla with ground beef which needed absolutely zero sauce because the meat was so well-seasoned. The tortilla was soft and nicely grilled. A definite winner. It came with beans and rice on the side, neither of which was special. The take on Street Corn was different, a soda cup of corn with the street toppings on top and layered in the middle. The sauce tasted like mayonnaise and I didn't care for it. It was like canned corn with some stuff on it, but one miss on an otherwise home run of a meal wasn't bad. The Queso Blanco was a perfect consistency and the chips were good if lacking salt. Note that the queso is about 1/4 cup, a small portion perfect for me. I tasted all three salsas and loved them, especially the salsa verde.

Came for the chicken and, while it tasted good, it didn't taste like anything different compared to other grilled chicken restaurants. It tasted as though the flavor/seasoning was only on the surface (skin) but not yet had time to penetrate the meat. Enjoyed sitting outside, dipping the chicken in the variety of salsas from the salsa bar! Very flavorful sauces! Next time I'm in the area, I'll come back and try the chicken again with some tacos.

Ventured here for lunch and it was a nice day out. The interior is pretty dark and divebar like. We…read moreshould have sat outside, but we decided to be inside. They had some nice lunch specials but none of them caught my eye so I had the chicken taco pizza. It tasted fresh and that's exactly what I needed. It was served with sour cream and salsa and topped with lettuce, tomato and olives. The other 2 in my group got the lunch walleye sandwich with chips and the avocado chicken sandwich (she normally always gets a burger). They both said it was ok. I was the happiest with mine. We also shared onion rings and they were decent.

I had read the Chicken Parm was good and luckily I paid attention! I did ask for extra sauce and…read morethere was p l e n t y especially for the pasta underneath. The sauce was rich and flavorful, the chicken cutlet crunchy on the outside, moist and yummy on the inside. There was lots of gooey, melted parmesan cheese. So good. The garlic "toast" was disappointing. It was spongy, soft, and had zero flavor. I couldn't even save it by scooping up sauce because the spongy texture was off-putting. This entree comes with a side garden salad and I ordered the blue cheese dressing. The dressing tasted like mayo with no hint of blue cheese. On my third bite, I uncovered a dead, slimy, rotten piece of arugula and that did it for the salad. Ugh. I definitely recommend the Chicken Parm. Maybe after this they'll tighten up their salad greens and wrap the toast separately from the entree.

The service was okay - I will always be frustrated by a sports bar that doesn't seem to have the optimal TV showings on hahaha. They had the silent news on two TVs, and the server didn't know how to change one TV vs all of them on the wall we were watching. Fix that up and I'd come back for any game! Good vibe otherwise and reasonable prices. Plenty of parking too.

I came here during the football night just to see what this place was like. They had a light food menu since they were showing down the kitchen a bit early so it was mainly appetizers no biggie on my part. Their food menu was atrociously overpriced. Like $9 for a plate of fries and there's nothing special about them . Apparently they had a beer special too so i was excited about that. I had some non-alcoholic beer that was featured which is a great thing for them to have. I didn't realize that when I got my check that each drink was $9 each which is the most I've ever paid for a non-alcoholic beverage regardless if it was on a special or not this is like Los Angeles, California pricing! This is just a typical Bar and Grill establishment and I personally think there's no reason for them to be charging these astronomical prices. They do get Stars for having very nice service and a clean establishment with modest restrooms. There's plenty of parking with easy access to the streets. Overall, I was not impressed at all

I've been to this location a couple of times while visiting a friend in Chaska, and honestly,…read morethat's probably the only reason I'd come back. Every time I leave Crooked Pint, I just end up feeling... unsatisfied. It's not bad, but the food always seems to be missing that extra kick of flavor. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Mad Pepper Juicy Lucy, expecting something spicy but instead, it was completely mild and kind of bland. To make matters worse, the service was pretty slow and our server didn't seem very attentive. If you're just looking to grab a drink and maybe an appetizer during happy hour, it's fine for that. But if you're after a meal that really hits the spot, I'd say there are better options nearby.

They also have a wedding venue and curling arena attached so it is pretty busy every time but I have never waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Food: I got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. I would say 4/5 for those, they were good I wish there was more bacon but the tot was stuffed with green onion and cheese then it came with queso and bacon on top. I would get them again. As my meal I got the lobster melt and it wasn't my favorite it didn't have as much cheese as I would want and felt like it lacked flavor. I think it would have been better with onions or like a sauce to dip it in. Service: it was a packed Saturday night but our server was attentive and very nice!

Delicious tacos! Love the murals on the walls celebrating the Minnesotan culture and icons. The service is always great, and the servers always have a good menu recommendation if you're unsure what to get. The bar has delicious drinks and their Jamaica juice is so refreshing on a hot summer day. Happy hour is a nice discount on some favorite items. I will say anything with shredded chicken isn't my favorite (not enough seasoning on the chicken for my taste) but everything else we've tried is a hit! We always start off with the chips and salsa flight and add cheese sauce - it's NOT a queso, there's no peppers or spice. The creamy green sauce is our favorite salsa they make, it's delicious on everything. The torta is a great choice if you're unsure what to get, the pineapple bowl is awesome if you're trying to share with others. Tacos and burritos are always a hit - I love the crunch of the pork belly and the flavor of the al pastor, taco toppings are onion and cilantro unless you get the loaded taco with slaw. The burrito could probably feed two people with an appetizer. It's a little higher priced than your typical plate of tacos but the quality of the food is always top notch, the kitchen is open and clean, and I've never left hungry or without leftovers. I will note - if you're looking for "traditional" Mexican food this probably isn't the spot you're looking for. It's still delicious just slightly different than what you'd get at your typical taqueria.

I've been to mallards a few times now and always is amazing!…read more Our usual go to is the shrimp boil for two. This shrimp boil is some of the best in Minnesota that I've had! We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual.
