We came here to watch the Thunder vs Spurs and we were not disappointed by the amount of TVs in this place. They have massive TVs all around the restaurant to make sure you won't miss any action. They had NBA, NHL, WWE, and other sports shows. The atmosphere was great with all the TVs but the live music was an added bonus. You have the option to sit in the bar area or at a table/booth. We had 6 people and were seated immediately. The food and drinks were decently priced. I got the ounce of pain burger and it was underwhelming. It was okay but it was too saucy/greasy and the bun fell apart. The fries were tasty though! The server was fast and attentive. We couldn't have asked for better service. Best inside-casino restaurant experiences I've had in MN! I would absolutely recommend Hop House to any first-timers or anyone visiting the casino. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you walk in, it opens up into a huge, thoughtfully designed space that feels perfect for sports watching, live music, and trivia nights. The decor is beautiful and clearly intentional because it doesn't feel like a typical casino restaurant at all. The menu has a really solid variety of elevated bar food with some standout options like bucatini pasta, a bahn mi sandwich, and even steak. We started with the cheese curds, which were excellent. They were flash-fried with a delicate batter, and served with a spicy jam sauce that I really enjoyed. The bucatini pasta was solid but definitely on the spicier side, kind of what you'd expect if spaghetti got an upgrade and a kick of heat. The "An Ounce of Pain" burger was probably the highlight of the mains. It was ordered medium but came closer to medium rare, which I personally didn't mind because it still tasted great. The toppings made it very creamy overall, so the bacon jam didn't stand out as much as I expected, but the caramelized onions were the real star. The arugula also added a nice fresh crunch. Fries were just okay, but I would order this entire meal again! The Chicago-style hot beef sandwich was another strong pick for its huge portion/good price, good spice from the peppers, and a really nice homemade-style roll that was crisp on the outside but soft inside. It held up well without getting too soggy, especially with the au jus bottom dip. And then the skillet cookie...easily the best part of the meal. Huge, perfect for sharing (though I definitely could've eaten it alone), warm, rich, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in a while. The sea salt topping was perfect. The pop rocks were a little unexpected and not totally necessary, but there wasn't much of it, so it didn't take away from how good it was. Overall, Hop House is a place I'd absolutely come back to on my next casino visit, especially during football season. Hoping they offer brunch because this would be an easy go-to spot! read more

We tried this place to play the Initials Game. We reserved a table ahead of time and got a nice booth up front. I chose the Cobb salad which was HUGE. It would have been nice to have a smaller version of it as it was $23. However, it did provide a nice side salad the next day with our home cooked dinner. Service was excellent. All was good. Came to watch a game. Service was great. I asked the server if they had the club house sandwich from the meadows and she said " no"but she said " please try our Rockstar Club Wrap." She was right- It was very good but those French fries are not the same as the ones at the Meadows. Love those match stick fries! read more

A total hopping experience! The Hop House is a new high scale sports bar at Mystic Lake Casino. My friends and I had been dying to visit and watch a game on there big screens. The interior is very chic with dark wood and gold accents all around. Each wall boasts at least 3 TVs with 3 very large viewing screen walls. The bar area is very spacious for casual game-day dining, and the supper room offers large circular booths and tables for bigger parties and potentially a quieter dining experience. They offer fantastic pricing on their beers with domestics starting at $5 and craft brews around $7-8. The menu has a nice array of American blend food options; everywhere from wings and nachos, to sandwiches, salads, and burgers. We started off with the Poke nachos. It was such a cool concept we just had to try them! These were absolutely delicious! The chips were made from wontons, super light crips and airy. The tuna tasted very fresh and the jalapeños added a nice kick! Only criticism would be I wish there could have been more tuna, we had quite a few chips without the protein. Afterwards my friends and I shared the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger - absolutely fantastic! The added truffle aioli and arugula was a delicious twist on your typical mushroom and Swiss burger. Lastly we chose to have dessert, their giant cookie, and giant it is! This dessert is easily shareable between 3-4 people. Served in a cast iron pan with sweet vanilla bean ice cream and caramel sauce - My taste buds were dancing! Saw they opened this up in mystic and decided to take a date. Feels like a upscale sports bar and they also have live music and club vibes at night. Didnt make reservations, just walked in and was seated after maybe 15 minute wait. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered a couple drinks, some wings and a steak sandwich. This was opening week and they had a few issues. My drink came out wrong but when I mentioned it, they fixed it. The steak sandwich was cold. Wings were decent, the dry rubs didnt have much flavor so I'd definitely recommend getting them sauced. Drinks were fine once they were correct. Some of the tvs had issues when we were there too. The actual place was such a great vibe and I would go back, I just hope they've fixed some of the food issues cause this was opening week and it was pretty busy, so I know there will be hiccups. read more

My friends and i went to Mystic Lake to go see Tesla (Which was very good) and this newish sports bar/beer hall was there and we had 6 o'clock reservations. It was very busy, but the place is huge with lots of cool TVs everywhere and had a great ambience and not crazy loud. I ordered a steak and chimichurri sandwich with the coleslaw, medium from our great server, as well as a Foggy Geezer IPA, perfect pairing. The sandwich was delicious on a fresh roll and lots of meat, really good. The coleslaw wasn't too greasy and was very tasty. Had lots of laughs and conversation and then went to the show. I came here to watch a live music performance (Shout out to The White Keys!!) and didn't know what to expect from the venue. Upon walking in, I was immediately impressed! The space had a very classy feel to it with a variety of seating options (booths, tables, back bar, balcony seating and VIP lounges). They serve both food and drinks but this time I only grabbed a drink (Salted Caramel Manhattan) which tasted really nice. It did take a while for the drink to come out (almost 20 minutes) but thankfully I wasn't in a rush. The staff were friendly from the moment I walked in to the moment we left. I joined some co-workers who were there on a Sunday afternoon I am not sure how long it's been open but it's a large open space with a sporting vibe. Service is extremely slow. We showed up timely for our reservation at 7pm, and was sat down right away. We were not greeted for 5 minutes by server. She had no urgency whatsoever. We ordered drinks, apps and entrees right away all at the same time. There were 3 of us, and 2 of us did not get our drinks until 7:35, the 3rd person in our group got hers at 7:40. We got our apps at the same time of the first 2 drinks. We had a show at 8, so we went and found some to go boxes ourselves for when our food arrived. At about 7:45 we asked the server about our food and she said she would go check, and came back 5 minutes later to tell us it would be another 5 minutes and said "we are just waiting for the salad." (???) When our food came at 7:55, we boxed up our food. The manager walked past, so we flagged him down to let him know about the situation, and he was defensive, and said it's a Friday night and walked away.
