    #6 taco and relleno

Still my favorite place for a crunchy taco. As soon as I think I might Try a different menu item I remember and go back to a crunchy beef taco. The staff is friendly and attentive and I still love the old school booths. They also have tv s in the bar for sports, good for families

I've been going here for years! Love the current owner and his family. They are kind and give amazing service. Food is on point. I got the carnitas (wet) burrito and love the ranchero sauce which is less tomato based than some other local places. Sports shown on the TV in the bar which is a plus. Old-school place with new touches which works perfectly

The service was delightful. Love there but one get one free Monday and Tuesday Specials for combinations only. We ordered two tacos beef and chicken with rice and beans. Tacos and enchiladas with right and beans. Christian made sure we had everything we needed. He provided great service. We were able to watch the Dodger Game at our table. Some people were in the bar cheering on their favorite team. This place is a Burbank favorite.

I really used to love this place but have been noticing each time I go lately, I have been getting a store bought tortilla. Does not taste house made at all. I always get a beans and cheese burrito. The beans are always wonderful but the tortilla is not authentic. Disappointing...

Granada's is amazing! It's been one of my family's favorite restaurants since I was a little kid. We would come here with our entire family, including aunts and uncles, and have an incredible meal. Over the years Granada's has never disappointed us! The menu is extensive and you can get things as a combo meal or à la carte. They also have a special lunch menu each day. You really can't go wrong and the quality of food is always superb. One of my favorite things to order is the guacamole tacos. They are always fresh, a great serving, and delicious. Easy to adapt for allergies and the servers are always kind and considerate to food restrictions. For those who enjoy a drink with their meal, they also have a lot of of alcoholic beverages on their menu. The margaritas, especially the spicy margarita, are always a fan favorite. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very homey and welcoming. You feel comfortable right away and will be welcomed by kind servers and staff. It feels like family. There are a lot of booths inside the restaurant that can fit small parties to large parties for multiple families. There's also outdoor seating when the weather is nice on their patio. Lots of spaces in the parking lot too, which is super convenient. Granada's is a Burbank staple and I'm glad to see them still going after all these years! Would recommend if you're in the mood for some great Mexican food and around the area.

We love coming here for a neighborhood friendly Mexican restaurant. The bar makes great margaritas and you can catch the games on one of their many TVs located throughout the restaurant. On Mondays and Tuesdays you can get a B1G1 on any of the #1-#12 combos after 3PM. They also have lunch specials. Servers are attentive and friendly.

Granada is a great local Mexican Restaurant that serves good food at reasonable prices. The bartender does a great job of making sure there's plenty of alcohol and the servers all make sure you have a great time. The restaurant is clean, festive with quiet music and has several running daily specials like the Monday/Tuesday buy 1 combo get one free. The restaurant is what you would expect in a local Mexican restaurant, the regular eating area isn't huge, bar area has Bar Top as well as booth and tables along with happy hour specials!

I was searching for a new taco Tuesday, Mexican bar hang-out spot. (I burned my last one, enough said). I was looking for old school, parking, good tacos. I had plans to try a few more in the neighborhood but I've cancelled them; this is it! Thanks to Isidro at the bar, Vicente on the speakers and the heat in the salsa! Crispy beef tacos with guacamole are excellent. See you next week!

I'm not going to lie. I wanted pizza but my human was not listening as usual and suggested we eat at Granada. A restaurant he had driven past for years. Well okay I said. This place is very old but the prices are 2030. Definitely a family owned establishment with plenty of regulars that were on a first time basis. Staff seemed like they have been there for years even with a younger new generation helping out. Their menu was extensive. Plenty of choices to please any palette. Most of them dipped well into the mid $20 range. Unfortunately I'm a picture person. I like to see the pictures that match the description. I went with the fajitas that set me back just under $30.00. They paired it with rice and beans and a huge helping of guacamole. Very delicious and enough for two. My human ordered a chimichanga with carnitas. It too came with rice and beans and more guacamole. It set us back about $25. One thing I noticed that was decently prices were their caldos. $7-$10 for menudo, albondigas or chicken tortilla. Next time for sure. Service was okay. A little slow to start because they didn't know we were waiting in the lobby. Probably because they were all in the bar watching the Chiefs win. We were not the only ones who waited. A few parties after us were ignored too. Even with the cameras on display. Everyone gets chips and salsa along with bean dip. That stuff was off the hook. Anyways it's a great restaurant. A little pricey but good. Plenty of free parking. Big screen TVs for football.

Chips and dip. Bean dip is BOMB!

When i got home, I realized the shrimp was sitting in a greasy pool of garlic-laden oil, which leaked all over everything. Thank God they use a plastic bag; otherwise, that garlic mess would have been all over my car. The beans were so salty & weird tasting (the worst ever), I think the chef must have been in the Mortons family. The rice was okay, but had no flavor at all, so my doggies will love it in their food tomorrow. The chips, which are now in the bin, were completely tasteless. They don't include tortillas(?), so I paid for an order of them, but they had so much grease on them from the pool of oil that leaked, I had to throw them out. The only thing I rescued from this expensive meal was the shrimp. I pulled them from the greasy garlic pool and am planning to rinse them off tomorrow and put lemon on them. Hopefully they will be edible. The young gentleman who got my order ready was a sweetheart, so I will say one nice thing. After the overwhelming garlic smell, the mess I had to clean up because of all of that leaked oil and my disgust with the waste of money, I ended up having watermelon at home for dinner.

Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

If you come during peak breakfast hours, I would definitely expect a wait. I ordered the wheat pancakes with fruit and granola. The pancakes were warm and fluffy, and the fresh berries went really well with them. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were great, and the meal came out hot and nicely prepared. The eggs were prepped over medium, as requested. The eggs plus the fruit made for a quick and healthy breakfast, complemented perfectly by the pancakes. Overall, this was a great breakfast experience. Good food, great portions, welcoming service, and a comfortable neighborhood atmosphere. Parking and seating can be a little challenging because of the restaurant's size and popularity, but the food makes it well worth the visit. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..

We waited about 45 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn't a problem at all. They're located in a plaza with parking, and there's also plenty of street parking nearby. First, let's talk about the Café de Olla. We ordered two, and WOW. It's their signature coffee, brewed with cinnamon, raw Mexican brown sugar, and spices. We normally drink our coffee black, but this was easily one of the best coffees I've ever had. Seriously, do not skip the coffee here! For breakfast, we ordered two dishes and shared everything. We had the Breakfast Skillet, loaded with country potatoes, eggs, bell peppers, mozzarella, fresh avocado, and ranchero sauce. We also ordered the Chilaquiles à la Bandera -- crispy tortilla chips with half tossed in their green salsa and the other half in red salsa, topped with mozzarella, Mexican cream, Cotija cheese, and eggs. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. And because we needed something sweet, we added the Crunchy French Toast Sticks, drizzled with caramel and Lechera. SO GOOD and the perfect sweet addition to our breakfast. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! The service deserves its own mention. Our server, Liliana, was an absolute doll! She was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She helped us decide what to order based on her own favorites and recommendations, and everything she suggested was spot on. Our Café de Olla came out within probably a minute of ordering, and once we placed our food order, I don't think we waited more than five minutes. Considering how packed the restaurant was, we were seriously impressed. Liliana definitely made our first visit even better! Everything was perfect -- the food, the coffee, and especially the service. Definitely recommend Mex Cocina Cafe for breakfast or brunch. We will 100% be back. We really enjoyed our lunch here. The place is situated right next to the equestrian center for Griffith park, and has a fun ranch vibe, from the look of the area to the outside of the restaurant, and you really get the vibe once you step inside. This place looks like the old west in the best way, complete with wagon wheels for the light fixtures and a killer bar area. It's really something you have to see yourself. So it's safe to say my wife and I were awed with the vibe of the place. I will say we were pretty hungry when we came in, and did hope they were going to drop some chips and salsa on the table, like most Mexican sit down spots do. However, that was not to be. The chips and salsa are extra. That was our only disappointment of the afternoon, as it was otherwise a fantastic experience. We tried the cochinita pibil, a shrimp taco, and the fajitas. They were all excellent, but man I'm still dreaming about the cochinita pibil. What full flavor, with a terrific sauce...both the plates came with cilantro rice, tortillas, and black beans, which made for an excellent combo. We will be coming back - hopefully for their taco Tuesday when my family comes to town next month!
