A great Greek spot to grab and go. The Pork Gyro was yummy and well-balanced. The tzatziki was unexpectedly chunky (because of the shredded cucumber) but we thought it was quite nice. The meat unfortunately was a bit salty. Recommend trying!

Came by here today because I had a gyro at the topsfield fair yesterday, and it made me want an official one today. So happy I decided to try this location despite it being a 40 minute drive from me. Upon walking in I was greeted, it was clean, and the workers were friendly. I had never been here before and the woman behind the counter had no issues answering my questions. The food didn't take long to be ready, and I love that you can watch them make your food right there. I didn't realize my gyro didn't come with lettuce until after it was already being made and they had no problem adding it for me. Beef lamb gyro 10/10 - extra tzatziki sauce for me and light onions (no French fries because it's pretty hard to bite) French fries 8/10 - extremely good and well seasoned but they could've been hotter Rice 6/10 just normal rice pilaf but didn't taste bland like some Overall would definitely return here. Food was delicious, portions were good, and service was amazing.

One of the best gyros in Boston, hands down, but completely overpriced and a small portion. I walked in for some take out and the service was fantastic, my food was made in less than 5 minutes with a smile and love. It was super fresh and tasted amazing, but it cost me $16 for a small gyro. The chicken was cooked incredibly though, and the veggies, fries & honey mustard were an amazing topping combo. It was nice to sit at one of the picnic tables on Peterborough St and eat outside. This is a solid option for Greek food in Fenway.

For a quick weeknight dinner I stopped by The Greek Gyro. I put in my order for a lamb Gyro ($13.99) at the counter, watched staff make it in real time, and recieved my order after 10 minutes (they had a lot of pickup orders). The gyro came with soft, fluffy pita. The fries garnished on top had rosemary. Shaved sliced of lamb and tzatziki were plentiful. Overall, this was well portioned, hearty, fresh? (not sure how to describe it, but it doesn't feel like it was slapped together by disgruntled employees using ingredients sitting by barely functioning heat lamps), and satisfying.

The Greek Gyro is AMAZING! Authentic Greek food served here, must try... seriously. We were going to actually try one of the spots next door but as we were walking past, we couldn't help it & decided to grab pork gyros for dinner. Simply delicious. The pork is always perfect, the fries continue to be crispy + salted & seasoned well, and paired with the tzatziki... 10/10 recommend! Staff is super friendly and the wait for food is never too long, about 5ish minutes. Very clean space PLUS the bathroom is also clean, LOVE THAT.

We had to stop in to the Greek gyro, we actually planned to try another spot but as we were walking by, the aroma was just so delicious! The space is clean, has a super clean bathroom! The staff greets you as soon as you walk in the doors! While here we went for the pork gyros, comes wrapped with tomatoes, onion, marinated hand carved pork, tzatziki and FRIES. Fries were hot and crunchy, pork was juicy and flavorful, nice seasoning / marinade. It's the perfect size meal tbh, and the staff is always super friendly. Will be back again and again when in the area! Their delivery orders are constantly ping-ing so I believe they'll be doing well for awhile with more locations to be opening in near future. P.s. the single bathroom they got, super CLEAN.

Was looking for snacks/dessert and found the best combo. I ordered Tirokafteri (Creamy Greek Feta with Spicy Roasted Peppers / Served With Pita) and some baklava. The tirokafteri was excellent- along with the soft pita pieces. Just the right amount of spice. And the baklava was very good- a perfect sized piece. The employees were friendly and service was fast. Street parking available out front- just a few minutes walk from Fenway Park. And a great outdoor patio. Don't miss this hidden gem.

The picture doesn't do it justice. It was so flavorful and was loaded with sauce, onions, and tomato and so much meat. We took the fries out and ate separately. Outdoor seating or tables indoors. Service was quick and good!

Chicken Gyro one with honey mustard and one with tzatziki

5 stars just for the staff. So nice and let me sub tzatziki for honey mustard. The gyros themselves are gigantic and delicious. We both barely finished half of ours. They come with the fries on the inside and I would recommend asking for the fries on the side so you have the chance to finish the gyro

Stale boring barely any mustard NO visible taziki and I PAId extra

Horrible VIBES!!!! Go at your Own Risk Not satisfied at all very discouraging, won't rush back anytime soon, ALL those videos are Super HYPED Paid for Taziki inside $1 so $2 for buy one get one free bogo special HORRIFIED by the quality VERY little tomatoes, NO onions given at all, Americanized taste, Portion Average AT best Asked for FRIES on side!!!!!!!!!! One of them they tossed near sandwhich the other one sandwhich the Free one they stuffed inside Complete disregard complete lack of attention to details. NEVER again simply Avoid And BYPASS at All costs NO wonder they advertise 100 times a day with all these reels On Facebook! If they were That thriving the aftermath would not be NEEDY advertising Bone dry sandwich I'm EMBARRASSED to display this online they should be ashamed of false misleading misguided advertising Exactly why they're closed Christmas Day in Boston vs Las Vegas. Business Shrinking because lousy quality I ASKED the cashier foreign short lady Taziki and mustard, She was FAKE with a smile, CHARGED me and deprived me of that true authentic taste I'm Entitled to First and last time ever I wasted time from Newton too an Uber NEVER ever again I will go on Needham street in Newton where they take pride in legit gyro. This was horrible. If I pay, you charge, you must deliver. To Cheat a client nothing Gained or accomplished. Very dishonorable experience and the Female Owner should monitor if she wants to survive in these very Rough times where Greek restaurants are Shuttering doors by the Very DAY!!!!!!!!! The Facebook videos even show a female girl getting Fries in (((((seperate Container)))) MICRO tiny containers it's a JOKE an absolute wasteful one. DEEPLy regret going, and that female short foreign cashier at the Boston location who is featured on Facebook videos, should NOT charge more When she yelled my order to chef she said honey mustard, she Purposefully Did NOT mention taziki despite my CLEARLY telling her Stale fries, Never Ever again!!!!!!!!! Very BoRING presentation

So far these are my favorite gyros in the city! Theyre huge and so fresh! The meat has excellent flavor and it tastes so authentic. I was able to get two meals out of mine and the price is so affordable.

Stopped here for a quick bite after visiting the MFA. It was in the middle of a heatwave so it was mid 90s and humid. The restaurant had their AC on and the door open but it was still very hot inside. Geared towards take out but there are 4 bar tables with seating and some outdoor seating as well. I ordered the chicken gyro online and my order was ready sooner than the expected time. The chicken was tender and flavorful and fries were crispy. I do wish they had more veggies and less fries.. but that's just a personal preference. They definitely do not skimp on the meat. Massive portion, makes up for the $14 price tag. Downside is that it's quite greasy. Would likely stop by again to try the other menu items!

Super friendly place! The food had so much volume and they were delicious! Limited seating but they turn around quickly so worth the wait if the tables are full. Just to have their soup was more than enough!

Food here is great, they give you a ton of meat on the gyro and the honey mustard goes really well with it. Fluffy pita too.

Is there street parking usually available in front of or near the restaurant?

Okay, for a solo adventure I chose the bar and yes, they took me to a seat there. Looking at the menu I knew it was tapas style going in but before I could really start looking at anything the bar tender said, "or, there's a chef tasting." Okay, stop there, let's just do that and add the meat and fish option. To start was the Strawberry Fattoush - Little Gems, Cucumber, Pomegranate Vinaigrette, Pita Chips, Sumac - amazing. Next was the Warm Buttered Hummus - Basturma, Tomato, Black Olive. Still doing great! Then the Fried Mussels - Hot Peppers, Turkish Almond Tarator Sauce. Can't say I have ever had those before! The Spinach Falafel - Tahini, Beet Tzatziki, Pickles was next. Though you could roll it up, eating it that way was pointless. Back to the knife and fork. After that was the Grilled Asparagus - Sorrel Aioli, Puffed Black Rice, Bergamot Honey. Probably the most familiar looking dish of the night. Then the Sultan's Delight - Tamarind Beef, Smoky Eggplant Purée, Basil. Aamazing! Still going after that was the Swordfish - Nettle Freekah, Red Pepper Tahini, Buttermilk Fried Fiddle Heads. Then finally the Turkish-Style Profiteroles - Brown Butter Crème, Sesame Caramel Cashews, Halva with something else on the side. All of this with a Shepherds Pilsner which I believe is my first brew from Palestine. Who knew that was possible? Needless to say, the meal was quite an adventure. Definitely worth it. All amazing as was the service at the bar!

Oh, Oleana! Tucked…read moreaway in Cambridge, Oleana is a cozy Mediterranean restaurant serving small plates. My partner and I managed to snag a last-minute reservation on a Tuesday night, and even at 9 p.m. the restaurant was still lively. Between the beautiful decor and warm atmosphere, it made for a great date night spot, though it was admittedly a bit dim (apologies in advance for the photo quality!) Between the two of us, we ended up ordering quite a few dishes: Whipped Feta (4/5): This was good, though I was hoping for a stronger roasted pepper flavor. Nothing wrong with it, but it didn't quite stand out. Interestingly, we overheard the table next to us mention the same thing, so maybe this one's a bit hit or miss. Spinach Falafel (4/5): Another solid dish. It was bright, colorful, and fresh, though a little messy to eat. Our waiter rather bluntly told us to "just wrap it and bite," which caught us a little off guard, but it was good nonetheless. Fatteh (4.5/5): Our favorite appetizer of the night. The creamy roasted cauliflower paired so well with the crispy pita, and I especially loved the sweetness the onions brought to the dish. Sultan's Delight (5/5): As everyone else says, this is the one to order. The beef was incredibly tender and rich. In hindsight, I almost wish we'd had the potatoes from the Adana Kebab to eat alongside it because they would've been the perfect accompaniment. Vermont Quail Kebab (5/5): Tied with the Sultan's Delight as our favorite entrée. The quail was juicy, well-spiced, and surprisingly easy to eat. I'd absolutely order this again. Adana Kebab (4/5): By this point, I think we were simply getting full. The kebab itself was good, but not nearly as memorable as the other meat dishes. Ironically, the potatoes and peppers that came with it might have been my favorite part--they would've paired perfectly with the Sultan's Delight. Baked Alaska (4.5/5): Delicious. The toasted meringue paired wonderfully with the coconut ice cream, though we were a little mixed on the passionfruit caramel, which came across slightly burnt and more acidic than expected. After a while the meringue did become quite sweet, so we ended up pairing some with the Muhallebi. Dark Chocolate Muhallebi (3.5/5): Yes...we ordered two desserts. I was mostly drawn in by the kaymak ice cream, but the Muhallebi itself was almost completely unsweetened. I'm usually all for desserts that aren't overly sweet, but this one leaned more savory than I expected. We actually ended up adding some leftover meringue from the Baked Alaska to balance it out. Looking back, given both our appetites (and our wallets), I think we would've been perfectly happy just ordering the Baked Alaska. Overall, Oleana was a lovely spot for a date night. While it didn't quite live up to the lofty expectations I'd built up from all the praise, we still had a really enjoyable meal. Our main waiter was kind, and I appreciated that the dishes came out in rounds, giving us plenty of time to eat and chat. The meat dishes were definitely the highlights for us, but overall there's a lot to like here.

We came as a group of 6, and honestly the tables felt way too small for that -- we were pretty cramped trying to fit all our plates and share dishes comfortably. Worth keeping in mind if you're coming with a bigger group. Food-wise though, it delivered. The Landwer's Pancakes were the standout -- super thick and fluffy, and the combo of fresh fruit, Nutella, and syrup on top made every bite feel indulgent without being overly sweet. We also got the Landwer's Famous Breakfast, which was excellent if you're into sweet and savory pairings like I am -- such a satisfying mix on one plate. The Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, poached eggs and all, though I do wish it came with a meat option included instead of as an add-on. Feels like a small thing but it would round out the dish nicely without extra cost. Overall, great flavors and a solid brunch menu, just come prepared for tight seating if you're rolling in with a group.
