I've come to this location so several times. The food is always delicious and the employees have always been pleasant.

I gave this place 5 stars because I never had to wait over 5 minutes for my food and the food always taste good. I normally order the gyro wrap and I always get the potatoes. Those are the best damn potatoes I ever had... for now anyway. read more

We had a groupon coupon so we tried this place. Was not expecting much due to recent crap groupon offers. We were pleasantly surprised by this place! So it took about 5 minutes for someone to ask for our order and we had to park around the side of the building. The food and service were excellent, huge menu choices and Frank took great care of us. We both had the combo plate with chicken and beef kabobs. The meat was tasty and cooked perfectly, the humus was so good we bought some to take home. I worried that the hookah lounge would detract from the dining experience but we could not hear or smell anything. I will return here. This review is on service only. First time here and the service is great! I did not dine inside but i placed a to go order. The nice man who took my order answered all my questions and was extremely welcoming (since it was my first time). The place itself is clean and not crowded and the hookah lounge is connected to a hall so you can walk right next door and have some fun! There are cute lights that line the ceiling and they have tvs for entertainment. I will be back here. I can tell already! read more

This is great Mediterranean food in a location you wouldn't think. I have been coming to this restaurant for about 2 years now and they never disappoint. With friendly service along with an inviting atmosphere you can't go wrong. The chicken kabobs are my favorite but all the menu items are good. The potatoes in green sauce are the best. If your in the area or stuck in traffic on the 91 this place is definitely worth the trip! read more

I have been here many many times for almost 3 years since they started in the late 2012. I really like the chichen kabab with rich and potato with their green sauce. I like to hang out with my friends here at the hookah lounge. We were there almost everyday. We had so much fun with various visitors every week. The owner his name is Emad is so kind and nice. The food comes fresh and so fast with reasonable prices. Emad appreciates our coming everyday and sometimes gives us a happy hour prices for the hookah. Sadly, the city closed the hookah lounge and God knows that would be for how long. Go enjoy the delicious food they serve anyway. I'll be getting that as well. read more

Great place! Quick service, friendly staff, and best of all, great fresh food. When the soda machine was being serviced, I was waiting for a refill. The manager (owner?) said to just take a 20 oz. bottle! Definitely worth a lunch trip when in the area. read more

Everytime I'm in Compton I make sure to stop here for food. The kebobs, falafels, and gyro are all good. The hummus is also really good! I suggest plate #10. Also they are open late so that a plus! read more

I had a hankering for some good mediterranean food and seen that green olive delivers through eat24. Well, ordered a vegeterian platter and superior plate. First the vegetarian, it had hummus, the usual (is it lentil bean?), and a 2nd baba ganouge which was a smokey flavor, eggplant? Both were excellent by the way, loved them. Came with 3 disks of falafel, very tasty, three grape leaf wrapped rice things, and tabouli which is a parsley like salad. Man so good, loved all of it. For those that are hungrier and can eat meat, i also got a superior plate which has a skewer of chicken kabob, which had a nice flavoring on it, more like a paprika based (reddish color) rather then typical yellow you see in most greek type kabob places. It had 2 like a ground beef like filled football shaped almost like a fried couscous like shell, awesome, generous serving of the typical yellowish rice pilaf, a greek salad and more hummus, which i ordered spicy! Yum, and for dessert, some baklava which is the filo dough baked with nuts and honey. Overally, very happy with the food i received and all was great tasting and i think overall healthy for me as well. Give this place a try, you'll def love it! Small somewhat hidden location amongst a group of restaurants near a corporate park...you order at the front board and wait to be called to pick up a tray. I usually get the Kafta Kabob plate which is freshly prepared and authentic - good spice, excellent rice and salad and great hummus... reasonable portions and side pita is great to catch all the flavors together. Food was ok but beware. I looked at the menu online and then placed a phone order. When I got there the prices were completely different than what they advertise! So me and some friends were driving back from a new years vacation when we decided to stop at the Green Olive. I had personally never been there but the two friends I was with said it was outstanding so we went. I ordered the lamb wrap, basically lamb, tomato, and Mediterranean sauce. there were only two people working when went in and they had just been hit with a huge part order for a new years party I suppose. So unfortunately it took us about 30 minutes to get our order, personally they should have had more than two people working in the kitchen on the Saturday after new years, but that's OK I forgave them the second I ate the lamb wrap.... I definitely recommend this place whether or not you think you like Mediterranean food. The beef, chicken, gyro, falafel, roasted eggplant, hummus, tzatziki sauce, rice, and not to mention their salad ate all delicious! Their salad dressing is so addictive. Super delicious food, big portions and spot on Greek taste. The owner is very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The owner recognized my co-workers company shirt and knew who we were. What a great find; and in of all places Compton (actually Rancho Dominguez industrial area). I live in LB now (used to live closer to here; Gardena) but I still drive out of my way to taste their delicious cuisine ;) The food's consistently great and if you're a garlic lover, the garlic sauce is one of the best tasting I've had. The service is friendly and they'll even substitute sides at no extra charge. They also have a hookah lounge in the back where you can hold parties. read more
