I am still waiting for that to happen. It keeps getting pushed back. It is the weather or we live too far out. We did not live too far out when they took the job. The last I was told is they will be out Monday, July 27. My items have been sitting on my deck for 3 weeks now. I would like to enjoy my new back yard. Brandon, the salesman, was great. The workers did a good job, and the job supervisor was nice. We had another estimate and we went with Rock and Block because we felt we were getting more for our money. I just want my job completed. I do not understand why it is taking so long to finish it.

He had one of his guys come out within 3 days of my review and repair all of the boards that were warped. He screwed all four boards together, used multiple stakes on each side (instead of just two originally), and even set the corners into concrete so they wouldn't come up again. We explained that we wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space that felt clean, modern, and sophisticated. About a week later, Evan sent us a design image created by their in-house designer. Evan was also the one who recommended the white decorative rock, which makes the patio feel brighter and more spacious, as well as the gray multicolored pavers for the area where we planned to install our pergola. We happened to have very similar tastes, but more than anything, we were truly impressed by his excellent sense of design. His recommendations helped bring our vision to life. The project was originally scheduled to take three days, but the entire job was completed in just a day and a half! The entire crew was incredibly professional. They worked with incredible speed and efficiency, and the finished work was absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed by Nicco, the manager, and the entire crew. Watching them work so hard in the intense heat, with such dedication and professionalism, truly made us appreciate their efforts. We also received estimates from three other companies. The other companies told us that a design image would cost $500, but this company provided ours free of charge. We were also told by other companies that we would need additional drainage pipes. After carefully examining our patio area, Evan confidently told us that they were not necessary, which helped us avoid an unnecessary expense. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They sincerely listened to our wishes and questions and gave us honest, professional advice. Because of that, we felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. Now, one of our favorite things to do is simply look at our patio throughout the day. It has a different beauty in the morning, during the day, and at night, and we truly enjoy seeing how it changes with the light. We are incredibly grateful to Evan, Nicco, and the entire team. The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!

We met with Ken the following week and he walked the property with me making suggestions. Ken definitely has a great eye for landscaping. Matt was also great, helping us on a daily basis with the logistics and giving his opinion on how to make the area shine. His prices were within reason for the scope of the project (unlike the other company we had hired, whose project/contract price was almost 3 times the estimate of the project AFTER we paid the deposit). The final result was incredible, but what really stood out was the entire experience working with Advantage. They truly listened to what we wanted, took our ideas seriously, and also brought their own creative vision and expertise to the project. The team went above and beyond to help us make our entire yard perfect, paying attention to every detail and making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. We set a date (07/06/26) for the replacement and what I thought was a fair negotiated price ($250), it really ended not being a fair price at all. Paco initially wanted $280, I negotiated with him to $250. Even at $250 he was higher than all others by $50-$100 more. I asked him if I could use my credit card, he said yes but there would be 4% surcharge. I didn't agree with that, so I asked if he could wave that, he reluctantly agreed. So, date and price was set. Come Monday 07/06/26, he claims his credit card service isn't working, so I agreed to a Zelle payment. Our appointment was for Monday (07/06/26 at 11:30; not only did his credit card service not work according to him, but he continued to change his arrival time. He texted me he was running behind on 07/06/26 and now would arrive no later than 12:30. By this time I'm seeing many red flags. I called him @ 11:46 on 07/06/26 to verify with him that he would arrive no later than 12:30 and was still intact. While confirming his 12:30 time, now he tells me 1 O'clock and blames me for his late arrival because I called to verify the time. During our conversation on the phone he kept interrupting me, talking over me, telling me I was upset that I couldn't use my credit card (furthest from the truth), and that I set the price for the job and so forth. I told him, I no longer needed his services, he was rude and not accommodating or respectful of my time and needs. Who wants to invite someone to their home after a terrible text and phone conversation, NO THANK YOU! To say the least, he wasn't given the job. Be careful who you hire people.

I was taking bids on my property and these guys came recommended by my neighbor. I called the owner Jose and he was pleasant and accommodating and came out the next day to look at the work I need done. Jose had the bid done and sent to me very quickly. We Had the gambit of work to be done. Massive plant and sod removal (SNWA contractors) and they installed pavers, synthetic grass, rock, new xeriscape plants, and smart irrigation. Jose told me when they could start and they worked so diligently and expeditiously at the tasks at hand. Each crew member has an objective and they are in per-suite of finishing the task. Juan would listen to any variations I needed to make, and Jose always followed up with me on changes and my expectations. To complete this review. The workers were careless in the way they cut the turf boarders and installed the Bend-a-board edging. The turf edges rolled up in a matter of a few days and the boards lifter out of the ground. We had them do the edges over again twice and same crappy results. Just the worst workmanship.

They transformed her property with a beautiful new front yard and a gorgeous paver patio in the backyard. The design process was outstanding. Saul came to my mom's home for an initial walkthrough, listened to what she wanted, and offered great ideas to help bring her vision to life. We received a detailed rendering and were able to make a few revisions until everything was exactly the way my mom envisioned it. Saul went above and beyond by helping my mom complete all of the HOA paperwork for approval and making sure her project qualified for the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Water Smart Landscape Rebate Program. That extra guidance made a huge difference and took a lot of stress off her. During construction, Saul's crew was exceptional. They arrived on time every day, were always courteous and professional, and checked in with my mom daily to make sure she didn't have any questions or concerns. They treated her property with respect and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each workday. The quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations, and the finished project is absolutely beautiful. Called on LandTeck again last week (3/24/25). Service Team was able to get out same day. Needed new…read morefront (yard) inground irrigation valve -- old valve was 20 years old.. The pricing was so good, I had them pro-actively replace my rear (yard) irrigation valve. Fast, clean, high quality work! Called on LandTeck to replace my entire irrigation system (5/8" tubing, feeder tubes, sprinkler heads, PVB valves) in December 2018 ... fantastic work and excellent value/price. See review further below. ---------------------------------- December 2018 Review I recently invited a phone-screened short list of three (3) contractors to my home to bid on the replacement of irrigation lines on the my property as well as plus the replacement of in-ground valves (2) and above-ground PVB - the system is now 14 years old and we were chasing problems. Carlos / LandTeck was the only contractor (of the 3) that showed up on time, offered objective/useful information on several approaches, promptly emailed the most detailed bid (2 contractors committed to price in writing, Carlos was the most specific), and offered the best price-to-value value proposal. We selected LandTeck for the reasons above and Carlos accommodated our schedule for the work. After further reflection and our comfort level with our experience to-date, we decided to use Carlos to simultaneously replace our landscape light wiring, upgrade our the landscape lighting to LEDs, plant 2-3 dozen plants, add a flagstone pathway, and refresh our rock. As expected (but verified), Carlos' updated the bid with highly competitive pricing and a detailed proposed approach & bid -- i.e., I was not taken for granted. The crew showed up for the scheduled days, was on time each day, worked diligently until sunset each day, cleaned up each evening, and checked in before departing. As usual with home improvement projects, we uncovered several site-specific challenges along the way as well as additional problems. The supervisor (Francisco and/or Fernando) was always quick to alert me, provide options (if any), allow us to make decisions (if available), and keep our outlays to a minimum. Note that several issues (e.g., a leaky PVC pipe about a foot away from the PVB) resulted in no additional costs - definitely not my usual contractor experience. The entire crew and Carlos were always on top of the project. The LandTeck professionals genuinely sought to ensure that I was kept apprised throughout the project and that our landscaping objectives (structurally and cosmetically) met or exceeded our goals. I highly recommend LandTeck for similar work and intend to have them return to submit a proposal for my Paver-Patio. For those of you so interested, LandTeck is a family owned and operated business.

However, the work they gave us a quote for was incorrect and so when the workers showed up they were not prepared. We also had to do the majority of communicating to get them scheduled. The response we received when they did finally confirm they were able to come was also flimsy and unprofessional. We also did not receive a call from them on the day to let us know they were on their way, which is a standard customer service courtesy. After the workers left to we reached out to our contact and let them know that the work they quoted us was incorrect. We did not receive a phone call back apologizing for the inconvenience or mistake, nor was there any effort to get the work re-quoted or rescheduled. In short this company has poor communication & poor customer service, and I would not reach out to them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

As a complete desert landscaping novice prior to this project, I spent hours online researching artificial turf and service providers in my area. After learning of A&R Maintenance & Landscape, LLC's stellar performance - evinced by numerous, glowing reviews, I decided to contact them myself to request an onsite quote. The very same day, Aaron reported to my property to take careful note of the exact dimensions of my yard and to discuss my options in terms of all materials' type, size, color and cost. I most appreciated his patience and the thoroughness of his detailed responses to my numerous questions. Later the same afternoon, after reviewing Aaron's detailed quote, I called his office to sign the contract and request that work please begin as soon as possible. I was pleasantly surprised that I would be able to be added to the work schedule just a few days later (at the start of the following week). Prior to any work commencing, I reviewed and agreed to all details of the exact scope of work (SOW) over the phone - with the gregarious and thoroughly pleasant Elizabeth (at the main office) - who made the scheduling process quick and effortless. Early the following week, a work detail of 8 landscapers arrived at my home - not just on time, but early, quietly (so as not to disturb my neighbors) and with visible enthusiasm to begin the project. Each of the workers was an extremely professional subject-matter expert who obviously loved his job. Without exaggeration, I can attest to the fact that I have rarely before witnessed such efficiency, celerity, precision, attention to detail (and safety) and/or pride in the quality of work afforded the customer. Communication was clear and concise; zero interruptions were incurred: all materials and tools were onsite, on time and without suffering a single discrepancy or error. Over the course of two consecutive days, the project was completed flawlessly and to my complete satisfaction. I must add that the end results surpassed my already high expectations by a considerable margin. I had the opportunity to speak to Rich, one of the company's partners, while he was onsite to check progress. He was clearly (and rightfully) confident in his employees' skills and uncompromising work ethic. I expressed my personal thanks to him for a job extraordinarily well done. Nothing was left unfinished. All tasks were perfectly executed with precision. Moreover, as a final compliment, the crew thoroughly cleaned up the job site before adjourning each day. In fact, my property was left in far better condition than when th e project began! I have since received numerous compliments from my neighbors on the turn-key work which I paid to have done. It is exceedingly rare that actual work performed lives up to its prerequisite sales/marketing hype; notwithstanding, in this case - in my own personal experience, A&R Maintenance & Landscape, LLC knocked the entirety of my project clean out of the park. It is my hope that my honest review will assist other (prospective) customers to choose A&R Maintenance & Landscape, LLC for all their dessert landscaping needs. Not only did my doing so save me money - but it also will save a significant amount of water, moving forward, for years to come. They did an awesome job on our yard. We had bought our place a year ago and the entire thing had…read morebeen neglected for 20+ years. Weeds galore, old outdated rock, a giant trench, a watering system from the 70s that didn't work anymore, a bunch of cut up wood and these 2 huge poisonous plants. The yard was not usable for my son and my poor pup would always need goat heads pulled out of his paws after being let out. They got the entire yard cleaned up, the trench filled and the top soil down on day 1. Day 2 they did all new watering system, planted 4 trees, 10 plants, and put down mulch. They asked my opinion before they put anything in to ensure it was what I envisioned. Im so happy I called them. Not only did this make a difference look wise but now my son can play outside and our dog can run around happily. 10/10 recommended them for any job! I'll post before and after pictures. Thanks guy!

He cleaned everything up and worked closely with me in picking out everything to my liking. I have hired him for my ongoing gardening cause his service is so good and reasonably priced!
