The burger itself high quality beef and perfectly grilled medium as I requested. Fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, sliced olives, and their delicious homemade olive aioli. Mine with waffle fries which were so generous, I had to give 3/4 of them to my husband (who gladly obliged)! Try the pickle bloody mary, if you're so inclined. Yum! Def will return! During the summer, sitting outside in a beautiful day while bustling tourists walk by and you look out over the bluff to the lake is about as charming as it gets. Sitting indoors you have a cozy welcoming environment that lends a hint to Michigan's great outdoors. The food is always fabulous and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. Truly a place to visit.

I had high hopes for this place since it's a hidden gem most of the time lately even tho it had a bad rep the last few. Last night the Drinks were terrible!!! I sent them back & then again Sent bAck 3 times. As for the Food...took way way to long & the service was clearly confused... not a clue or idea about the cocktail menu or any suggestions or pairing server couldn't even open a bottle of wine .. Just laziness management. The service overall seemed confused. The bartender that served us the weekend before tried her best to help when we waived her over & then was clearly shushed away. Just to be then ignored by our clearly very over whelmed novice waitress that was clueless & in a bad mood. read more

I've wanted to check out The Grille at Harbor Shores as I had heard how wonderful it was from several different people. Today I had the opportunity to have lunch there and enjoyed one of their specialty chicken wraps and fresh fruit. It was wonderful. Everyone at our table raved about the dishes they had ordered as well. We ate outside and the view was gorgeous with lovely flowers and a great view of people golfing. It makes you feel like you're somewhere far away on a lovely vacation! This is a fabulous place to eat and I will be going back again next week to celebrate a special occasion with friends. read more

Please try the Grille if you haven't been there this season. Service has turned around 100%. You are greeted and seated by a lovely young lady and a mai'tre d who oversees the service. The food is creative and delicious. Sheyrl is making this an attractive restaurant that caters to the local diners as well as golfers. She is putting her own stamp on it and it appears that the Chicago Management Co. is finally accepting the fact this is also a "local" restaurant and not only a golfers destination. Few people know they are open again but word of mouth is spreading the good word. read more

First visit for dinner with friends. We had the Perch and the Surf and Turf. Wonderful meals. The fish was flaky and the steak was done as ordered. The wait staff was friendly and quick with refills. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, great for dinner conversation. The food was presented well and tasted great. This was the third visit for some of our group. We would definetly return and feel it is a great place to take out of town guests. There are too few places in our area where you can just sit, talk and enjoy a quiet meal. read more
