Good food and drinks, lively atmosphere and very good service. Would recommend if you're looking for a dinner spot in the City Market area of Savannah. read more

I made a reservation on December 18th for a party of 10 to have brunch on January 1st for my fiancé's bday. I was told that my reservation was booked and to have my entire party there 10 mins before hand to ensure our space. I called the morning of to make sure everything was in place and to ask about adding 3 others to the list was informed that my reservation couldn't be found. I asked to speak with management and was told he was too busy to come to the phone and unfortunately there was nothing he could do about it. I asked to have him come to the phone again which he did not and was told the same thing. I purposely made my reservation well ahead to try to miss this foolishness and still ended up running in to it. The manager didn't even take the time to come to the phone to try to rectify THIER mistake. Unprofessionalism at its BEST! read more

Great service! Nice atmosphere. Maybe I'm being too picky, BUT! I ordered caprese salad and the tomatoes were tasteless, balsamic too sweet, not enough fresh basil. The burger said it was to be served on a brioche bun, not so. Might have been egg bread dough. It wasn't perfect but it wasn't bad. They have room for improvement. I would go back. It seems like a nice place. read more

This is mine and my daughter's first trip to Savannah..we are here for her 11th birthday. We decided on The Grove for proximity to our condo and for the pics of their delicious food on Yelp! We were not disappointed! Wonderful service, delicious food, beautiful views! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on our first night in this historic city! And I was even able to convince her to try something different as an appetizer (the turnip and cheese dip) and she LOVED IT! Yum! read more

We love this place. Second time going there while visiting Savannah and we were not disappointed! The food, service and ambience are all fantastic! Highly recommended. read more

Stopped here for dinner. Everyone in my family loved what they ordered. The chicken tacos were so flavorful and the green beans were amazing good too. My husband and son both had the smothered fried chicken breast and they loved the sweet and spicy sauce. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were tasty too. My other two girls enjoyed the chicken club sandwich. Would definitely eat here again! read more

We stopped at The Grove to have drinks on the rooftop but decided to go ahead and have dinner. We started with the fried kale and it was amazing!! We both got salads with shrimp they were delicious!! The atmosphere is fun and the decor is beautiful! I would definitely go back. read more

This place has incredible views, great drinks, and delicious food! I came with a friend to an event and ended up staying a couple more hours enjoying the drinks, food, and the views! I highly recommend this place for drinks or a sit down meal. This place is going to be hard to beat! read more

Good ambiance and decor. I got the basic chicken tenders, and they looked good but were dry and had a weird taste. The bartender was barely behind the bar, and in the back with the other server and manager laughing. Didn't even ask if the food was alright, which it wasn't. Kinda disappointed. Looked like it had potential. read more

The whole deep fried okra was so delicious. Also enjoyed the honey jalapeño fries. The service & the food is way above average. Excellent experience! Will definitely eat at The Grove again & recommend it to others! read more

The worst restaurant and customer service experience I've ever had. Came here for a bachelorette weekend June 2020 (We were 21 & 22 at the time) and was served alcohol. My three best friends and I made reservations last night and ordered cocktails. The server looked at our ID's (we are now 22 & 23 years old) and took our orders. The server came back and asked for our ID's again and took them, didn't come back until 10 minutes later with her manager and they had the audacity to tell us that two of our ID's were fake. They told us that they did not have to serve us, and that is true, but if you're going to turn away legally of age people, you should probably invest in something that can prove they aren't of age instead of not only embarrassing yourselves but potential customers at that. Saying the "numbers" don't add up was the best part considering they are very real. After leaving,we went to a restaurant next door and got sat immediately, they scanned our ID's with no issue. The management at the grove was very unprofessional and rude.. read more

we had a reservation for my friends birthday days in advance. and we watched them give our table away. when arrived they told us we had a 15 minute grace period which is normal. my friends arrived just at the 15 minute grace period but the table was already given up.. we were then escorted to the back of the grove to wait. we were told we could order food soon since they're backed up even tho we didn't really have anywhere to eat.. they then told us we could put TWO FOUR TOP TABLES ( tables for four people) together that have barstools and for the 12 people at a now 8 top table. it's very crammed. it's hot humid and not enough room. it's my first time here and probably my last read more

This place is amazing. We had the Charcuterie board and josh the bartender made me an awesome gin mule!!

The management must have listened to Curt W. The service was great and the food came out in 5 minutes tops. Everything was spot on. Great flavors. The fried okra was really good, served whole, fried and with a great dipping sauce. I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is ok. Our waitress was kind of rude. Observed other staff being rude to older couple. We both ordered large salads but received small. The guacamole was decent. There were a few random pieces of non salad food mixed in with our salads (something that looked like a piece of chicken breading in mine and a piece of meat(?) in my friend's). Other than that, salads were decent. Atmosphere is kind of beach-bathroom-cafeteria. I read more

Good not great food. Beautiful building and clean interior. Grouper was over cooked and the shrimp was very salty. Great smoked cheddar grits. read more

Possibly the worst food I've ever eaten. We were laughing when we left because of how bad it was. Service is terrible as well.

The food is not bad but the service with a large party is not the way to go. The surprise charges in the end were not discussed when I clearly asked for all the could be in all circumstances before we made the reservation. read more

Amazing food. Great menu. Beautiful setting and incredible drinks menu and our server Matthew W was amazing.

The grove has sleek decor and great ambiance! The rooftop is cozy and cute. As far as the food goes it's just okay. I had the honey-jalapeño fries, club sandwich and fried okra. The fries were by far the most flavorful. The sandwich was very soggy. I think it would be a great place to grab apps and drinks but not the best fit for a sit down dinner. read more

It was cute and trendy. No bottle beers only cans just FYI. The food was okay. The service was good. Good vibes to chill out.

I had lunch and drinks at the downstairs bar one afternoon and after leaving the hostess chased me down the street yelling at me accusing me of not paying my bill, which I did. She should have checked before doing this. What an embarrassing way to treat customers, I will never return to this restaurant. read more

Before hitting up a new spot we always turn to our Yelp community. There was mixed reviews, 5 stars all the way down to 1 star. Seemed like all the 1 stars were for lack of service. I can't speak for them but we had zero issues with service! I don't remember our server's name but he had long braids, he was friendly, attentive and helpful. We LOVED being up on the deck and the choice of either a pub table or cozy comfortable cushioned seating. We chose pub to see the view. The whole place is well thought out with beautiful decor. We didn't order any alcohol after reading several reviews stating that the drinks are weak in alcohol and high on sugar. Rather not pay $13 for a weak drink...so on to the food. The honey jalepeno fries are AMAZING!! Seriously good. The Grove stir fry sounds like a weird combo but is amazing as well!! We got it with the rotisserie chicken and the chicken was so tender, juicy and flavorful. We also got the Nashville hot chicken. We wouldn't order it again, it wasn't that it was bad, it just wasn't for us. We didn't want the brussel sprouts it came with so they served it on a bed of mac n cheese instead & the mac was creamy & perfectly cooked. We definitely liked it here and enjoyed our evening. Kudos to who designed the place, love the different options for seating including the side bar on the first floor with the big open doors. We will be back and we recommend trying this place, I believe they've worked out the 'lack' of service kinks. Now hopefully the drinks will get stronger;) read more

The Grove is amazing! The ambiance was pure southern charm and the food was excellent, but the service was above and beyond! Can't wait to go back! read more

This does not deserve to be second on yelp. The waitress completely messed up our order and the place was empty. The waiter that followed her redeemed the experience l, but it's hard to mess up three salads. read more

Service not that great considering they were not very busy. Food tasted good but overpriced. Portions were small. Doubt if we would visit again. Found several other places that were better in Savannah. read more

I loved this place! Came all the way from South Florida. The breakfast was so good. The champagne pop was amazing!

What a good find. We were on the hunt for a decent lunch and stumbled upon The Grove. The food was good and even the kids said it didn't taste like "tourist food". They had burgers and fries - they were cut like steak fries. I had the chicken sliders - you get 2, but they were yummy and just enough. I swapped my fries for the Brussels sprouts - YUMMO! They were sautéed in butter and then finished off with a balsamic reduction and bacon. Our server Jordan was very attentive and gave the boys to go drinks. Thanks for a great lunch. read more

Fabulous Brussels sprouts! Blackened fish tacos are tasty and worth the heat. Good service and pleasant atmosphere.

Worst service ever! If I could give this restaurant negative stars I definitely would! When we arrived we ordered the cheese board and after an hour and three tables that arrived after us received their cooked meals we got up and left! Heard the food was supposed to be good but obviously never received anything! Definitely would highly not recommend this place unless you have nothing better to do than wait! read more

Food was good, restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, but lacks good customer service. There was a family of 5 next to us that waited 20 min and still didn't receive any waters or silverware. The family left, but the woman came back in 10 min later. She stood at the front of the restaurant near the bar and FIVE workers walked right past her without acknowledging her or greeting her. A friend of mine had to tell the bartender that there was a woman waiting up front that wasn't being addressed, and his response was "well the kitchen is closed, so"...... lol. Doesn't mean everyone needs to walk past this woman without acknowledging her existence after not being waiting on for 20 min. We also didn't receive the best service, my friend waiting 10 min for her meal after we were all served. read more

The hostess tonight told us we could have a table if we eat in 45 mins. Didn't like thag

was so excited to try this bar. non experienced staff. bent my id in half and it broke and told me it was fake. the manager brought me her card laughed with the bartender and yelled the whole time when i requested they pay for the new id i'll be having to purchase. super unprofessional. read more

When researching where to go in Savannah, our group was so excited to find this trendy and unique spot. We saved this for the last night and from the second we arrived to the second we left, the experience was nothing less than disappointing. We had a party of 14, so we knew it would be best to make a reservation. The host and the servers acted like it was such a burden to have this amount of people in our party the entire time we were there. We ordered drinks and didn't see our server again for 30 minutes. We finally had the opportunity to order food and received half of the food an hour later. We then had to wait another hour for the second half of our food. It is understandable that this happens in the industry and we would have been more than understanding if our server would have even came to provide more water or assurance that the kitchen was working to get our food to us. Instead, she told us that it was because we a large party and they weren't "perfect." She did speak with her manager and they were able to provide drinks for compensation for the terrible experience. By this point, our party was already over being there and wanting to leave ASAP. Everything about this place is unprofessional. The way the employees treated us was shocking and I would not recommend for anyone to waste their time going here when there are so many more hospitable and wonderful places to visit in Savannah. Daniel - I was waiting for your copy and paste review that you comment to every poor review. Your generic and insulting response is an accurate depiction of this restaurant. read more

This was our first trip to Savannah and my wife and I highly recommend this restaurant. We decided to have lunch here and were amazed at how good everything was. Our server was awesome, so were the gals on the rooftop. Food was a perfect brunch, and the popsicle cocktail was a great finish to a awesome meal. I'll try and come back again next time I'm in savannah! read more

so sad because this place is so cute! awesome vibe and great menu but service is horrible! sat down at 8:10 and didn't get my waters for almost an hour. very disappointed with service because i was so excited to come! read more

Ah-maz-ing! Recently had a great experience at this restaurant. The food is 10/10. They did not have any salmon when I ordered the salmon BLT, that is the only negative thing I could think of. I highly recommend the Nashville hot chicken. read more

My parents and I wandered in here in the early afternoon in a day trip we took from Charleston. It was a Sunday early afternoon, so we were offered the brunch menu. We were looking for something light because we had 5:30 reservations elsewhere. The breakfast club and salad were okay, but the avocado toast was disappointing. Across two large slices of toast were spread what looked like one half of an avocado, sliced. In my experience, avocado toast is always mashed, and generous. For a $10 dish, it was overpriced, and we had to ask for additional avocado (which was promptly provided), but if you're going to offer this dish on the menu, do it right! The ambiance and location were great, but I'm not sure I would recommend this restaurant to anyone because the dishes weren't anything special and were a little overpriced for what they were. read more

Although this restaurant has a nice decor, the service is quite opposite. I made an reservation for a birthday two weeks prior. Upon arrival, my party and I were informed that our reserved table was not ready. After waiting an additional five minutes, we noticed other people being seated. Despite that our group consisted of 5 people, a booth was made available to party of 2. I then asked the host, our long was our wait and she then said 2 minutes. They provided us a table right in the front. But, what's strange is that when my friend checked us in that table was already open. So, it begs the question was our reserved table, taken by another party. Once seated, we waited about 5-8 minutes for a server to come to our table. Another issue that we had was that there was a visible sign upon entry starting that everyone must wear a mask unless they are eating and drinking. There were a lot of people inside without a mask. Also, the tables were not spaced out. There was a table directly behind us with at least 8, loud and without a mask. It was just a disappointment experience. We left shortly after a server finally came out with water. We felt completely ignored, uncomfortable and unwelcome! Not to mention, this was my first time in Savannah, not a great experience at all! read more
