Ok y'all. THIS PLACE IS BOMB!!!!!!!…read more It's so good it's almost a problem for me. And now he added night hours for tacos?! (I'm never gonna get fit for Hawaii)... he knows my partner by name (that's a lot of burritos and tacos!!!!!) 1- the owner/chef is super cool and chats with everyone 2- morning burritos : I've only had bacon and tri tip. Boyfriend looooves the pastrami, and we are waiting for my mom to try the chorizo. The trip tip is so bomb and bacon is good The tater tots are a nice touch. I wanna try with the veggies but he sells out by the time I stroll by (trying to act cool like I didn't plan my whole morning around this) 3- tacos!!!!!!!!! Chicken and asada (super flavorful) he has red or green sauce. My favorite combo was asada with green. My partner likes chicken with red. Either way I was upset when I finished my third taco :) 4- it's just him and his food is bomb so when you go (and you really should go) just remember it's worth the wait. I've never seen anyone complain but it gets CROWDED so I've waited a lil bit but knew it was worth every minute Dang...now I want tacos (I'm not kidding I'm literally planning our week meals around this!!) I shouldn't admit this, it's truly embarrassing (maybe I need taco Addict anonymous)

Got one tri-tip and pastrami. Freshly made so there's a wait. (15-20 min) tri-tip was tender,…read morelightly smoked. Cut of pastrami was clean and well portioned. Tater tots not oily, nice thick layer of cheese, could've added more onions and bell peppers. Oddly light but filling. Red sauce had flavor, no kick. Green sauce was standard. Price was a bit hefty Over all i'd come here again, very simplistic.

It's been so long since I was last here. I stopped by looking for a place to have lunch. Even on a…read moreTuesday it was packed. There was something going on outside for the little ones. An Easter bunny making its first appearance with the little one. Plus the weather was great which brings people out. Location is amazing as there's shopping, and dining inside and surrounding area. There's plenty of parking with the massive lot all over. Inside, I did see some familiar places from the last time as well as some new spots that popped up. I don't know if a lot of them do well. But if they do, it means they're good. You have the food stalls, there's a brewery towards the back and also a Long Beach shop right in the middle. Seating is limited inside but plenty of seating right outside. Some covered and some out in the open. Loads of restaurants to choose from outside which is more full on dining experience. The concept is great. Nice options on places to choose from. A fun little place for a meal and mingling.

Plenty of parking - some right along the street, or in their large parking lot. Convenient cluster of restaurants to choose from with open seating. Depending on what you feel like eating, they have quite a variety to choose from. Most restaurants give you a pager to notify when your food is ready, so the service is convenient while you can walk around to shop for other food. We ending up getting poke bowl, beef skewers, a burrito, and some other stuff. Interior decor is comfortable and welcoming. Has an open and chilled vibe. Would I come back again? Maybe. No restaurant stood out too much, but they're not bad either. (Actually, the $13 Beef tenderloin skewer was really really good, but then again, those small 6 bites of meat cost more than a whole giant burrito I got.) I think I'd try to explore other options first before circling back to this place.

While browsing Yelp, I came across this random little posting. I was a bit hesitant to find it at…read morefirst, because I wasn't sure if they would actually be around. But, like clockwork, on Wednesday from Noon to 4pm or when they run out, which they apparently do pretty quickly sometimes, this pop-up stand is in the parking lot of Vision Design Studio. There's just two ladies that make and serve these yummy asian fusion bao buns, so it does get kind of busy, but they are very aware of their surroundings. I was standing around waiting for them to finish a couple of orders ahead of me, and although some people they knew walked up after me, they made it a point to say I was next. That was very nice of them. There's two choices, roasted chicken or roasted pork belly. You have your pick of the slaw that goes on top, a cabbage apple slaw or a red onion radish jalapeno slaw. They use hoisin for the cabbage slaw and bbq sauce for the red onion slaw. And all of this goes inside a perfectly steamed bao bun. I decided on two pork belly bao buns with each slaw, since I just love pork belly to death. I wasn't impressed with the pork belly. It wasn't as tender as I typically like it, and was hard to bite all the way through. And I wish they gave more than just one small slice. The flavor was nice though. But I have to say both slaws were freakin awesome! They really make the overall bun experience fantastic. They also sell a couple bottled soft drinks such as mexi-coke, and a homemade lemonade. The day I was there, it was a mint lemonade for $1/cup. It probably needed to be more chilled or have some kind of ice option on the side, but it was definitely fresh-squeezed and not too sweet which suits my palate. There's a bamboo steamer on the table that you just throw your money into. The girls don't want to dirty their hands by handling cash, which is very considerate and sanitary of them. 2 bao buns for $5, CASH ONLY. They'll wrap it in foil to go for you as well, since there's no seating area, or you can just stand around and eat. If I'm in the area on a Wednesday, I'll definitely stop by still. Those slaws are just amazingly delicious! Maybe I'll try the roasted chicken next time.

It's two gals serving up delicious slow cooked pork on bao buns. Yeah, I'm not afraid to admit it,…read morethese gals are packing some hot buns. Just wait till you got them in your hands and about to bite in, then that's when things get all sorts of steamy... Um yeah. Okay, let's just lay it out there, these gals may not be as easy to get, but when they're at an event or have their table set to sling some really delicious bao buns, you best get yourself in line cause they are something out of sight. The slaw they make is also really good. But the prize again goes to the slow cooked pork buns. I mean, they are damn fine. Their practice of not dealing with cash, but being a cash only establishment may make you scratch your head at first, but the way they come up with getting around being grabby is pretty solid and you can at least walk away knowing your food isn't going to get you sick. Buns run you a five spot for two, but that's well spent money if you value your taste buds. Again, if you got the chance to get your hands on their buns, go for it. they're mouth watering.
