3.5 Star Overall. Very poor to zero internet connection on your cell phone while inside the building, biggest inconvenience. However, they do provide free WiFi access within. Plenty of parking - some right along the street, or in their large parking lot. Convenient cluster of restaurants to choose from with open seating. Depending on what you feel like eating, they have quite a variety to choose from. Most restaurants give you a pager to notify when your food is ready, so the service is convenient while you can walk around to shop for other food. We ending up getting poke bowl, beef skewers, a burrito, and some other stuff. Interior decor is comfortable and welcoming. Has an open and chilled vibe. Would I come back again? Maybe. No restaurant stood out too much, but they're not bad either. (Actually, the $13 Beef tenderloin skewer was really really good, but then again, those small 6 bites of meat cost more than a whole giant burrito I got.) I think I'd try to explore other options first before circling back to this place.

Came here for a bite to eat with my pilot husband after returning from a trip. Great vibe - I love all the outdoor space for enjoying activities with your family. The food hall is very spacious with lots of seating and great variety in foods available. The hall seemed to be kept clean even with the crowds of people coming in and out. There was a large screen tv for a FIFA World Cup watch party!! Great place to hang with friends!

If you want a place to eat and shop and enjoy the outdoors, The Hanger in Long Beach is the place. Inside of the hanger there are several eateries Ike's sandwiches, sushi, Wagyu, poke, and whole lot more. Service is quick and easy. There's also a place for ice cream. Hansel's ice cream is located on the outside of the hanger across the street in this area. There are also shops such as Old Navy, TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Nordstrom Rack. There's also a smaller size Whole Foods market and next-door is PetSmart. It's practically a one stop shopping. The only downside to this place is because it's near an airport. Phone services might be sketchy.

Parking is a tough find if you dont come early enough. They share the lot with other establishments around the area. However, if youre willing to walk, they have a bunch of spots across the way in the shopping center. They host mini small business shops just outside, and people are super friendly. Inside, think of it like a food court. Very similar to Anaheim Packing District. There are tables and chairs all throughout the venue. They also have little shops full of merchandise as well. The decorations are pretty cool and the images are just like all the other reviews have. We ended up choosing to eat at the Kroft. We will be back to try other foods!

The Hangar has so many great choices that we ended up going twice ~~once at night when it was super crowded and full of energy, and again in the morning for a relaxing coffee. It's such a cool concept and really accessible, with something for everyone no matter what you're in the mood for. Everything was clean and well organized. It's not necessarily a cozy spot, but it's definitely fun and worth checking out.

The hangar is literally a hangar vibe with a buncha food stalls inside. But outside are also other vendors They also have beer and acai bowls aside from food. Inside has some seating but plenty more outside. Great vibes for families or dates and a big lawn area. Lots of parking on the TJMaxx side if you cant find any Definitely a must check out place

This is a food hall definitely worth visiting! First off it was epic to see the history of the space and its origins! Second the variety of choices left our group all satisfied! The service at all the spots we check out were all extremely welcoming and were helpful!

The Hanger LBX is a food hall that offers an array of food and drink options! We like grabbing different entrees from different restaurants and eating family style so we can try new foods without breaking the bank! There are also a few places that offer beer and wine. Hangar often has night markets and pop ups that do business in their outdoor area which is how I found out about them! You could probably find out more about their events via Instagram.

This place is amazing. Plenty of different places to explore foods from different cultures. I chose the Kroft. Had an excellent Wagyu smash burger with bacon. A side of garlic fries and a 16 oz tap room beer. My son got the Poutine Loaded fries. Wife went to a Mexican spot and had Birria Ramen. My daughter went to a Korean place and had one of the largest pork bowls I have ever seen. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Self serve and energetic atmosphere

I remember when the area by LGB was desolate, now there's all kinds of retail next door. If Grand Central Market had a younger sibling, it would be The Hangar. The space is modern, clean, and jovial. They have everything from Mexican to Korean. They even have well-known LB brands like Cassidy's, Taqueria Brand, and Long Beach Certified.

Bottlecraft PSL IPA was delicious amount of pumpkin in a beer.

Nice large food hall in Long Beach with lots of restaurant options. Only downside is parking lot is pretty small, but there's street parking too. Jay birds and bottlecraft were pretty good and there was a good amount of seating inside and outside.

Bathroom: broken locks but clean overall. No paper towels. Temperature: there is AC but in some areas where the cooks are it's quite warm while other areas are comfortable. Sit near the fans. That feels great. Restaurants: there aren't that many restaurants to choose from and very few vegetarian places. There are restaurants on the outside of the hanger too for people who want something else. See picture. Ambiance: relaxed and laid back. Cool pictures of The Hanger in its heyday They have a photo booth, restaurants, specialty shops like a cheese and t-shirt shop. The hanger is well insulated to keep the indoors temperatures cool but not cold. There is some music playing but it's not blasting loud. Seating: there is not a lot of seating but they have chairs and tables with umbrellas outside They have a grassy area for kids and families to picnic. Lowkey vibe. Cool to grab a bite to eat or drinks and don't forget the dessert. Parking is in the surrounding area. They recycle, too.

It's nice that parking is accessible in the front on Bellflower Blvd. and in the back parking lots. There are areas where you can sit on stools or on picnic benches. Also several corners where there's shaded trees and a swing bench. It's nice to have the eating area in the middle of the courtyard, but I really don't like the dirt area. But I get that it's probably easier for spills to be soaked up so people don't slip and it's less maintenance. If you're a fur-parent don't worry, there's even a couple bowls from which your pet can get fresh water from their drinking fountain. Or just bring your own bowl and fill it up at the water station. It's really a pet friendly place. We brought our Shih Tzu along and saw another dog sitting on the bench. Food choices are good, you can enjoy a beer and burger, tacos, Filipino/Korean fusion, Coffee, Boba, Argentinian food. There's also a big screen which they televise sports games. Price wise it's about $15-$20 per person for a complete meal.

The ambience is laid‑back, cafeteria‑casual, and absolutely unbothered, like it knows the tonkatsu is good enough to speak for itself. Let's get down to business. We went in on the Chicken Katsu and the Katsu Don, and honestly, both dishes came out swinging. The chicken katsu was crispy in that crunch way, while still staying juicy inside. The katsu don had that comforting, saucy, slightly sweet vibe that makes you feel like life is going to be okay. Because it is! And let's talk about the curry sauce, "Wow" it's thick, savory, and the kind of delicious that makes you consider pouring it on things it probably shouldn't go on. It's the type of curry that makes you nod to yourself mid‑bite like you just solved a personal problem. Ordering at the counter is quick and painless. You place your order, and wait for your incoming deliciousness. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, even when Tokyo Central gets busy. It's efficient, friendly, and very "get in, get fed, get happy." There is nothing fancy, and that's exactly the charm. Casual seating, relaxed energy, and the kind of environment where you can enjoy your meal without feeling judged for how aggressively you're eating your katsu. It's simple, clean, and perfect for a no‑frills comfort meal. This is one of those reliable G-Town spots that delivers crispy katsu, comforting bowls, tasty curry, and fast counter service, all wrapped in a chill, Tokyo‑Central‑style setting.
