* She currently works at Serenity spa** I typically would never want to leave a bad review on someone. I would just let it go and move on. But this was THE WORST experience I have ever had with my hair! What I wanted to achieve was a natural light ash brown with cool tones to fade into a lighter ash and then the tips silver. I wanted it so I could eventually quit dying my hair and let my natural color grow out. I've been dying my hair red for 15 years. I completely understood how difficult it is to get red out. I went to one stylist and she told me what I wanted was not possible, that trying would damage my hair, and she gave me other options. I declined and thought I would just have to deal with the red until it grew out. Then a friend recommended "The hair Witch". Since a friend recommended her to me I felt like seeing what she could do to help me. I will start with this- The day of my appointment she was running late. She kept texting to push my appointment later and later. I had faith in her so I went in over an hour late to my original appointment time. I figured having awesome hair would be worth it. I will explain later the trend I began to see with appointment times. She told that what I wanted was entirely possible. I trusted her. Big mistake. She told me the first appointment was a "consultation" appointment but we could start working on some of the color so she could see how I lifted. I told her I expected it to take a couple sessions and I didn't mind if my hair looked a little off during the transition. She changed her mind on what she was going to do so many times while I was there that I was very confused about what the plan was. She put random highlights all over my head. They weren't even equally dispersed. She dyed some of them silver. I left with many different shades. White, blonde, red, and silver. It looked awful. I wanted to quit while I was ahead so I texted her kind of panicking afterwards and she reassured me that the next appointment would be awesome. For 3 weeks I had to walk around with ridiculous hair. My boyfriend kept telling me to give her a chance to finish. I remained hopeful. Going to the next appointment was the worst mistake. Again, she was running late. She told me a time and when I got there I had to wait while she finished up on someone. I tried to remain positive. She decided to bleach my whole head, to tone it, and then color it. It took forever because she kept taking breaks and I honestly have no idea how long the bleach was left on my hair. It was getting late so I told her not to worry about drying and styling my hair. From what I could tell it was definitely bleached and silver but was no where near natural looking and it was horribly "blended". Before I left I could tell my roots were not done. They were actually lighter than the rest of my hair with a dark blue line under them before the lighter bluish silver. I asked her to make another appointment in a few days to fix it. She agreed and at this point I figured I was stuck with it so I may as well try to make it look as alright as possible. I wish I had stayed and had her style and dry it but It was getting so late that I had to go get my child ready for bed. I wasn't expecting to be there until almost 9 pm. When I got home and tried drying my hair it didn't want to dry. My hair was like these stuck together blobs that I couldn't brush through that felt like sticky gummies. My hair was also white, yellow, green, blue, and coopery red. It didn't look natural. I was devastated. The next day my hair was breaking off and falling out in clumps. It felt completely fried. I told her about it and told her that during my next appointment that we would probably have to cut it all off because it was damaged so badly. She knew I was unhappy and that my hair was falling out. I'd like to point out that I tipped her very well both times. I was always kind, polite, and understanding. I really wanted to trust her and give her a chance. Anyway, that Friday morning, the day of my appointment, she CANCELS on me! No salons could get me in last minute. I seriously felt heart broken and had no idea where to go from there. I paid her almost $500 dollars to destroy my hair. It makes me sick to my stomach. To top it all off, when she left me sitting with the bleach in my hair it started running down the front of my cape. When she came back she helped wipe it up. The back of a brand new custom made shirt of mine was bleached and she didn't tell me. I'd give anything to go back and have my healthy hair and money. Perhaps I just had really bad luck. But it may also explain why she has no google reviews! She did offer to try to get me in at a later date but at this point I can't rationalize giving her more money to scam me. If some one tells you something isn't possible please listen! Don't go let some one else take your money and screw you over and always go with your gut feeling! read more

Theresa was great! She was very through with our consult and my color is spot on. During COVID, I used a box color to darken my signature blond. Ick, but, you know, I'm over here trying to survive. She lifted my hair gently and I feel like myself again! My blond has dimension and is silky smooth. Love it! Our family has been taking social distancing pretty seriously so getting my hair done wasn't top priority. Theresa has a closed room at Serenity Spa (which I cant wait to check out other services). She and the Spa put my mind at ease with their cleaning procedures. Im booked out for my next appointment and am looking forward. read more

This was seriously the best cut I have ever had. I've been to several different places over the last couple of years and hadn't found someone I wanted to see a second time. Theresa literally changed the way I feel about my hair after the first visit! I naturally have fine, thin hair that is hard to manage with frizz. I've been going to Theresa for a couple of years for highlights extensions and hair cuts and I'm obsessed with my hair everytime I walk out! She did air touch highlights and extensions that blended flawlessy. uses amazing treatments on my hair to keep it healthy.
