Very accommodating to have a drink in hand to chill and hang out or whatever occasion you are celebrating. Prices is alot higher from the established venues versus going to an actual restaurant. Prices are 2 to 3 dollars above average pricing. What you are paying for is the ambiance. This place is catered for outdoor hangouts. Keep in mind, this location is mostly catered on warm days. If it is cold, it is not a pleasant feeling unless you dont mind the heater blasting just to get you warm. Plenty of parking and seating. Busy days start from Thursday to Sunday. Good energy. My only complaint is they need to upgrade their Displays for all sporting events. They are tiny! For a magnitude of events they have here, the screens can be alittle bit bigger. First time here and we celebrated my brothers 16th birthday! They don't take reservations and it's pretty busy so I got there at 5p to grab a table. They let me decorate with a table cloth, air filled balloons and a cake. They don't allow helium balloons. They have 2 tv's and different food vendors. It's like a food market/food court. Hangry Belly (burgers) - they were out of brisket, avocado and turkey patties which is their top sellers. They have chili cheese fries and other loaded fries options too. Tacos and Birria Ramen Huge portions and lots of birria. They don't skimp out here. They give sauces, limes and the sides of rice and beans are huge Pizzeria About $18 - lots of pepperoni it was so good. We got extra for $3. You get a whole pizza of 8 slices so it's worth the price Beer bar Birria Tacos - very good they give you 2 big ones and pack it with meat. The birria ramen is good to but it does need a bit more flavor Hangry belly- the meat is delicious but it's a potato bun so not my fav. I like a softer moist bun. The parking isn't the best. On 05/12/26, I Visited Steel SteelCraft Long Beach which is an outdoor, open-air urban eatery located in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, California. It's a neat structure entirely built from repurposed shipping containers. It's a cool dining and social place that offers a variety of local food vendors, craft beer, coffee, and desserts. The venue now changes out vendors which will provide more tasting experiences. We dined at "Elio's Wood Fire Pizza". The pizza is delicious . I had Pepperoni, Sausage, Black Olives, Onions & Red Bell Pepper. Yummy! For drinks we tried "Off Duty Beer & Wine". I was not disappointed. We tried the Figueroa Mountain Pale Ale & the Watermelon Aqua Fresca Hard Cider. They were both very good & refreshing. The customer service was good at each vendor we tried. The worker at "Off Duty Beer & Wine" was very informative. I recommend this venue. There is a parking area in the back of the venue and a larger parking lot across the street. I came here literally just for Elio's wood fire pizza! I usually drive from OC all the way to LA for their food truck. It's always worth the drive but when I found out that they just opened a location in Long Beach, I knew I had to go. It was our first time at steel craft so I wasn't aware that there was going to be more food vendors. I loved how there was a variety of food choices and that there was a small brewery. I was able to grab a beer and have it with my pizza which was great! Now let's get to the pizza. 10/10!!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! If you haven't tried Elio's yet now is the time! We got a margherita pizza with pepperoni and a white pizza with sausage. The dough itself is so light and you can taste the fire from their wood fired oven. Worth the drive! Such a vibe for sure. Came here with my husband for lunch and the concept of this place is def cool. Lots of containers with different vendors and you can pick and choose what you want to eat and there is something for everybody. They have a brewery onsite and the other vendors sell drinks too. I love the open space, the lights and just ambiance is pretty cool. They even have TV's with sports on so you. An easily catch a game here too. I ordered food from the Mexican vendors and my husband for a Pizza. Both were very delicious. The pizza was great and love that they give it to you in the box already in case you don't finish it you can take it to go. My tacos were delicious, especially my fish taco was the best one for sure. The presentation was great and they even tasted good as well. Their chips were a bit greasy for me but still good, their salsa was fantastic. They had other fun food options as well it's just what you are in the mood for. The spots we grabbed food the service was great, very efficient and hard working. It has five different food options, including Mexican, Korean, two American options and a pizza spot. They have beer located at the main Steel Craft trailer. Decent amount of seating but could be slightly cleaner. Service is truly just from window service, from each of the food spots. They had face painting, when we showed up and moved on from that to a DJ. Noise was a normal level, for an open aired location, near a main street in Long Beach, as well as with the music and eating around others. Food was great from the three spots we ate at. I usually love getting birria tacos from here at La Taqueria Brand. However...The last time I bought some was last week... I was disappointed discovering what I thought was cheese, as I do ask for extra cheese, WAS NOT CHEESE.. The same way chicken has fat before it's cooked, I found something similar in one of my tacos and initially thought it was cheese until I felt the texture.. It was so disgusting that a gag reflex came on and I COULD NOT finish that taco anymore.. This original location of SteelCraft food court opened in Long Beach in 2017. It has since expanded to nearby Bellflower and Garden Grove. It was my first time here, so my wife explained how things worked. Parking can always be a problem in Long Beach, but it seemed as if it was well thought out...with multiple well marked lots to park for free, and even neighboring businesses allowing their spots to be used after their business hours. It consists of six, soon-to-be 7 food vendors (Asian, Pizza, burgers, beer, Mexican, coffee, and acai) and there is no overlap of cuisines between vendors. Everybody shares communal bench seating tables (though when we came it wasn't too busy so got a table to ourselves). We stopped in for lunch on a Friday, and it's a typical food court set-up, where you choose the vendor and order/pay with them. There is a shared water dispenser, so you can fill up if you have your own water container. Otherwise all other food and beverages are not allowed. There is one set of gender bathrooms for the complex (4-6 stalls in each). We are thinking about suggesting a group gathering of 40 people here, and the management has processes in place to handle such scenarios...so will work with them in the future. If it works out, will definitely come back to update my review. read more

This is a favorite spot! We love coming here for burgers and beers. I was super bummed to see Smog City got replaced by something else, but it will be nice to have more drink options available. I also love that Salud is here now, they have the best juices in long beach! SteelCraft is all outdoor seating with a variety of food and drink options. It's dog and family friendly. I hosted a birthday party here too and it was reasonably affordable to reserve a whole section for around 40 people. Eat + sip + chill at Hangry Belly (Burgers place) or feel the love from Waffle Love. Seven amazing vendors, popups and businesses all bringing an amazing experience in this beautiful shared space. There is WiFi, restrooms and it's pet/pup friendly. Seating can fill up during busier social times and hours after the work flow, especially Saturdays from what I've seen and heard. Angelino's was pizza town by 7 PM the other night. Open until 9pm during the week and until 10pm Friday and Saturday. Each vendor has select hours, definitely check their website for specifics - Steelhead Coffee for instance closes by 5 PM daily, but also opens as early as 6 or 7 AM depending on the day. Definitely hope to see more great SteelCraft locations in Los Angeles and Socal... like can you come to the valley tomorrow lol... Would love to have something like this in NoHo and other parts of Southern California. Check out their Garden Grove and/or Belflower spots as well. Parking is super easy and spacious at the SteelCraft of the LBC. I came here after walking with the girls on a Sunday and it was easy to find a spot and enjoy your brunch. I wasn't able to bring my dog this time but I saw so many fur kids and real kids with their parents. I can't wait to come back and bring my pup. I believe the food changes every few months. This time around I choose Mexican food. It's called la taqueria. I loved my chilaquiles and my minchi! The beer choice paired with my minchi was better than a typical modelo. SteelCraft Long Beach was a new kind of place for me and I visited it with someone during a sunny afternoon. It is made of shipping containers turned into food stalls which gave it a super creative and modern look. I saw a lot of teenagers there hanging out with friends and trying different foods. The atmosphere was upbeat and urban with string lights upbeatmusic and a mix of families and young people. Teens would love the casual artsy vibe. The service at each food stall was friendly and quick and the staff seemed used to serving younger crowds. The value is great because the meals are affordable with generous portions. The quality of the food and seating areas was impressive and everything felt clean and welldesigned. The selection is amazing with tacos burgers ice cream and more so teens can try something new each time. I highly recommend it to teenagers who want a fun place to eat take pictures and relax. read more

Unfortunately its quite small (but well lit and warm!) and have limited bathrooms. Another reason why i do not absolutely love this place is the LOUD DJ. I get it - its a hip happenin place and im old now. Im not into loud these days. We sat at the farthest area to escape the worst of the noise and it was still too loud. Visited Steelcraft Long Beach recently on a drizzly Saturday. Picked up lunch at I Love Ur Buns and had their special of the month, which was two Chinese buns filled with smoked brisket by the Cambodian Cowboy! If you've never heard of him, he is making a name for himself as a BBQ pit master. The buns were fresh and pillowy soft filled with the tasty brisket. I ordered the meal which came with a drink and hot, crispy fries. I would go back and try some of the other buns. If buns aren't your thing, there's a taco stand and a soon to be opened pizzeria.
