I was at Claire's last weekend for breakfast. I always love to come to Claire's! I'm sorry to report that this outing was disappointing. Service staff was excellent! Very nice, coffee refilled often, service prompt, etc. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and found it be fairly uninteresting. All the components were there, but it was just blah. Maybe a bit more hollandaise would help ??? For the price point, I expected better.

This was one of the most beautiful places to have brunch with a beautiful view. BUT the service was horrendous, our waiter was very unattentive not even once he refilled our water nor coffee. We order the coffee soon as we sat. Coffee came almost as we were leaving. And they still have the audacity to want to charge us 22% gratuity.!!!!!! Oh, and by the way, the drinks there are supposed to be cocktails, but they don't have the correct alcohol license so that drinks were watery ( see pictures) and they don't even bother to let you know when you order them, that they only have a beer and wine license so they make up their own version of drinks.. AND they're very expensive..

Claire's at the Museum is an absolute gem. Located next to the Long Beach Museum of Art. You do not have to go to the art museum to eat there. Parking is limited. The views are spectacular. Located up on a bluff overlooking Long Beach. Very nice brunch menu. Servers are attentive. Cloth tablecloths and napkins, silverware and china give it a dressy feel. There was a small baby shower at one table. A birthday celebration at another table, and a space partitioned off for a wedding shower. This is the place for celebrations. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes with creamy lemon ricotta topped with fresh berries . I didn't need any syrup. My friend ordered the avocado toast with egg. The veggies on top of the toast was piled high. They have a full drink menu along with coffee and teas. Delicious food, wonderful service. And a fantastic view.

If you haven't been here, it is a must!!! It is an absolute gem with an amazing ocean view, yummy food and fantastic service! We are so blessed with amazing weather end of January to enjoy this open air restaurant and bonus you can visit the Long Beach museum as well!! I highly recommend get there early to avoid a long wait for a table.

You can't beat the ambiance and view at Claire's!! Wowowowow!! For that alone I gave it 5 stars. We didn't have reservations and we were grateful to get right in at lunch on a Saturday. The food was good...and the presentation was nice. I split the lemon pancakes and salmon BLT with my friend. A bit pricey for what you get...but again, you're paying for the view. Our server was great. She wasn't overbearing but attentive.

Came here on a simple beach date and we were both very surprised. I was not blown away but the food was interesting in a good way. It made me think and want more and I think that's pretty good. Avocado Toast Creme Brûlée French Toast Salmon BLT

Wonderful atmosphere overlooking the ocean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent, not the best but better than average. I think my biggest issue is price for what is given. The tomato soup and grilled cheese was very basic for the price. But overall I still enjoyed it and would come back

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. The staff is very welcoming and even got the birthday boy a celebratory glass of champagne. The ambiance is lovely with views of the beach. After ordering mimosas, we started with sweet potato fries. For our main dishes, we got lemon ricotta pancakes, creme brulee french toast, smoked salmon benedict, and a side of bacon. Mimosas- We ordered a variety and they were all sweet and refreshing. The strawberry one was my favorite. I appreciate the freshness of the juice they used. They do not skimp on the bubbly either. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes- The pancakes were fluffy and soft with a nice crisp edge. The lemon curd adds a lovely brightness and it's enhanced with maple syrup and a generous heaping of fresh fruit. Creme Brulee French Toast- The toast was custardy and rich. The bruleed top was the icing on the cake! Also served with syrup and the fruits cuts through the sweetness and adds a burst of citrus and freshness. Smoked Salmon Benedict- This was a nice savory meal. The salmon was smoky and blended with the gooey egg perfectly. The english muffin provided a good base for the other elements. Sweet Potato Fries- I could eat this forever! These were fried to get that beautiful crispy exterior while leaving the insides nice and soft. Served with ketchup and garlic aioli. Side Bacon- Crisp and meaty. I would recommend taking bites in between the sweet entrees to give your meal a balance. We had a lovely time! Thanks for making our special occasion extra fun!

Great food, my friend and I had eggs Benedict, Crème brûlée French Toast, Sweet Potato Fries, and the Claire's Champagne Special. Nice vibes. Service was approachable and friendly. Would go again.

Stopped by Claire's for brunch today after coming across it online. Wow, glad I did! This place is phenomenal! The views are hard to beat being right on the water. The staff was on point and super accommodating. The Eggs Benedict and Spicy Chicken Sandwich were both FIRE! Oh, and their spicy Bloody Mary and cold brew martini were also phenomenal! Go here...

Came for Sunday brunch. Our waiter was Parker. He was very professional, efficient & sweet. Food was good, we loved the outdoor ambience. Which came with ocean views. The perfect way to spend a beautiful weekend.

This place has an amazing view, with the perfect weather and a nice breeze this place is perfect. If you get cold easily, bring a few layers to ensure you enjoy your meal. After a 35 min wait our party was seated with the perfect view of the beach. Our server came by after a few minutes to take our drink order. We order a mix of sweet and savory dishes. The spicy chicken sandwich, not spicy. The cookie butter French toast was great. Our server seemed to have many tables and was overwhelmed, he checked up on as twice and we had to flag him down for more coffee and the check. Parking can be a bit tricky, they have street parking available and additional parking a bit further down which is also busy. So be patient, it's worth it!

We walked in and were greeted immediately, and then brought upstairs. The decor on the way up was awesome. The old school nature, with paintings and abstract vintage pieces.. love. It felt like we were in an old industrial building. We were surprised that it was pretty empty when we got up there. We sat at the bar, and love the decor upstairs too. There's a view of the street from up there as well that's beautiful. The bartender greeted us fairly quickly, and we each ordered a speciality cocktail on their happy hour. Both were delicious. There was already a good amount of people waiting when we arrived. They actually were able to seat us right away on the side where the street was at one of the high top counter. Don't think people wanted those seats. One section was empty which we asked if they could moved the umbrella a little to shade us and the other section. We couldn't sit there as we were told that it was for a group of three that was waiting already and they requested it shaded. Ok, so we can't share the umbrella.... Anyway, we sat down and did move the umbrella a little where it would shade everyone but the hostess came back minutes later and moved it back. And of course, the group didn't even sit there which they ended up putting two other people who didn't even care if the umbrella was there... Enough of that. Service was on the slow side. It did take a while till someone came over to take our order as well as brought over some water. Menu did look similar but I'm not sure if they added new items on the menu. After we ordered which did take a while a drink did come out. I had to walk over to the bar section to ask for a straw. Appetizer did come out pretty fast which was the onion blossom. It looked amazing, a little salty but good. The waiter that brought it out for us, I asked for an extra side of dipping but that never came out. As for the main, the honey chicken sandwich and the breakfast croissant. Well, when the dish came out, one of the order was wrong. Instead of croissant sandwich, it was a breakfast sandwich instead. Server was a little taken back and asked the waiter which they looked somewhat confused. Don't know if it was an honest mistake or they just put in the wrong order. Anyways, had to wait for that to come out. Again, still didn't get any extra sauce which I ended up walking to a table to grab some ketchup instead. One of the server did notice but was like whatever. Rarely did we get checked on until I asked for a refill which was once the whole time. When the bill came, I had to ask again. Not once did water get refilled the whole time till the end. Service was just not the same as prior visit. I don't know if it's new management or just a change in name but it wasn't a nice experience. The food was good I give that but service this time, major fail. Hopefully it's not alway like that. Hopefully, next time will be different.

It's right in Belmont and one neighborhood away from the water. Great date place and bar too. 2026 update: This breaks my heart. The menu has changed, the chef has definitely changed and service has unfortunately gone down. First off they cut a good portion of the menu and the physical design is not the easiest to read. (that's not really a problem tbh but it's something to note) What is the problem are the following: Ordering food for 3 took 20 minutes for servers to come, get food, and water + drinks we ordered. food took almost 45 minutes to arrive at the table. I get the kitchen makes a lot of stuff but this is crazy. at this point we were here for over an hour without eating. Not only were the orders wrong but also food portions were noticeably smaller. Credit due here, they fixed that (ofc which takes an extra time). Final straw here: To get someone's attention, get the bill, then for them to come get the bill, pay, and give us our cards back took: TWENTY MINUTES. Just to pay. tldr: food prices went up, staff not attentive, food still decent but different chef. Food is noticeably saltier. This place is still cute and servers as a great bar but oh my gosh has it gone down hill. Full context half the restaurant was empty. we are so disappointed. this place used to be great :(

I left the meal feeling dehydrated and honestly a little frustrated. The bright spot of the visit was the Brussels sprouts, which were genuinely well done and showed some real kitchen care. If I were to return, I'd probably stick to the vegetable sides. For a restaurant with a 4 PM lull and minimal table traffic, there's no excuse for that level of inattentiveness. A simple water refill and a quick check in would have saved the experience. As it stands, the combination of an over salted entrée and absent service made for a tough sell on the value. If you're in the area craving a burger, you might want to save your money and head down the street to Louis Burger instead. Ellie's may shine in other areas; I've heard good things about the pasta, but this particular visit missed the mark.

We decided to celebrate my son's birthday at The 908 and really glad we did. The restaurant has a…read moremodern look and felt welcoming. We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.

The hostess was quite sweet when we walked in. As we had our little fur baby with us, we were seated at one of the tables on the patio. It was still early and that in-between time so it was pretty quiet. A large party was set up next to us. Melinda took care of us and she was the sweetest. Happy hour was happening which we took advantage of. It was 4.00 off appetizer, 2.00 off draft wine and beer. Also, they made sure that our little pup was well taken care of as well. Food wise, an order of the poke wrap. Nice chunks of ahi with a scoop of rice, lettuce, avocado and wasabi sauce. It was good but a little messy. As it would be with all of the lettuce wraps. The steamed mussels which is a must. The broth was delicious and served with two nice thick slices of toasted bread. Decent size mussels cooked deliciously in the broth. A must try. Lastly the calamari which was tossed with jalapeños. Both deep fried and quite tasty. Nice crunch to it but not overly cooked. That was also served with two dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. Towards the end of the meal, Melinda noticed that a bug was in my wine which she was very sweet about and made sure to take care of it. The simple little gesture was greatly appreciative. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was the sweetest and friendliest. Will definitely be back.
