So the dandan noodles are on hot, spicy, crunchy and buttery chicken wings. The green curry, is a side to be dipped in with a cheese quesadilla! What?!? Mind blown! It is sooooo good. There is also an extensive drink menu, using a lot of tropical fruits like lychee, yuzu and passionfruit. The pub interior was very reminiscent to the Irish pubs I frequented back in the day, when I spent time on the Emerald Isle: dark wood panelling, humongous selection of liquors and beers and bottles on the mirrored bar back, Guinness decor (posters and tchatchkies) interspersed with relics of various Catholic saints and deities. We got their patio seating which was covered but it was still prefect to enjoy the sun. For drinks, I got their Raspberry Royale which had sparkling brut, raspberry, fresh pressed lemon. I wasn't the biggest fan, it was a little sour for me. My partner got their passion fruit soda which had Passion fruit, fresh pressed lemon, soda. I was a big fan of this one!! It was perfect for the summer. For food, I got their blacked chicken fettuccine alfredo that had Bacon, roasted garlic cream, aged padano, garlic toast. I got their half portion which was still ALOT! We expected Browns Socialhouse to be a sports bar, but were very pleased and pleasantly surprised to find it is much more upscale than that. A good thing! For the main course, we ordered the blackened chicken fettucine alfredo. It was really good. The little cowboy salad as an appetizer can't be beat at a price of $10.50. A really great value! The strawberry shortcake for dessert was a nice variation on a traditional strawberry shortcake. Our only disappointment was that the beef dip was not on the menu during the FIFA World Cup of soccer as it takes way too long for the restaurant to prepare due to the expected enormous soccer crowds dining at the restaurant. We will be back another time for the beef dip! Also, the music can be really loud when the soccer games aren't being shown on the TV screens. The loud music can be annoying/unnerving. There are several sections to the restaurant. We wanted to sit on low chairs, not on the high chairs. We ended up sitting in the outdoor covered patio area. Very enjoyable area on a warm summer's day. We liked the patio area. Others may prefer other sections of the restaurant. I think there are some booths in one section. Melody was very nice and pleasant. She was very attentive. She brought my spouse ice without being asked. (My spouse likes there to be ice in the water glasses.)
