Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.

They were not busy at all, however we sat there for 15 to 20 minutes while the server leaned on the end of the bar chatting with the bartender and looking at her phone. We never even got water. It wasn't until we got up to leave the restaurant that the server came walking after us, but by then it was too late and we left Very disappointed as we were looking forward to trying this restaurant.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

The staff has been very nice and helpful every time. On this occasion we opted to sit at the bar since we didn't have a reservation (highly encourage you get one ahead of time) and even though the bar staff was super busy they still were able to check on us an appropriate amount imo. Now, the serving of their salads is insane. I'm not complaining at all. This was my first time getting one (the Brussel sprout chop) so I was surprised when they set the plate in front of me lol I couldn't even dream of finishing my plate and took half of it home. It had great flavors and the combo of ingredients was fun. My friend got the Ceasar salad and it was also huge so she had to take a lot of it home as well. She really enjoyed it. I also got the Papa Don't Paloma mocktail and it was delicious. This place has truly become a go-to for me and many friends because of their consistency so you can bet I'll be back again!

The bar was busy and several groups of adults were left standing while a table of kids took up prime seating. It felt poorly managed and honestly a bit strange to walk into a bar late on a Saturday night and see a table of children taking up space while adult guests were trying to find somewhere to sit. Would not recommend.

When I mentioned my concern about the massive line wrapped around the building during fathers day, mothers day and this weekend, the same lady named Kayla answered the phone. I was about to leave and she assured me that it would move fast and not to worry and that they had samples to ease some hunger while waiting. Sure enough, she was exactly right! To top it all off, after we got our food and sat down, she actually went above and beyond to come over to our table and check on us just because I had called to thank her for helping me from not leaving to the amazing customer service she provided. I let her know that is very rare now days and not to ever change that! I found out after meeting her that shes about to head out on maternity leave soon and honestly, I'm going to be a little sad when she leaves! She is a massive asset to the Hutchins team and can change the mood just by her smile and friendliness. Not only that, she gave a lot of good recommendations for trying some new foods at Hutchins and every time has been a good call! Give this girl a raise!! I wish Kayla the absolute best and I'll definitely be looking out for her when she gets back! Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.

I came to Heritage Table on the recommendation of a friend. He had visited a few weeks before while he was in town for the World Cup, and he insisted that I make the drive. I'll admit, I was skeptical. Not because I didn't trust him, but because the restaurant was about 40 minutes from my Airbnb. I'm so glad I listened! From the moment we arrived, Heritage Table felt different. The welcoming front porch with its rocking benches immediately made us feel like we were visiting someone's home rather than just another restaurant. That feeling only continued once we walked inside. Our server, John, asked what brought us in, and when I mentioned my friend, he immediately remembered him and his story. That personal connection set the tone for the entire evening. John provided outstanding service, incredible recommendations, and went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely at home. Hospitality like that is becoming harder and harder to find, and Heritage Table absolutely nailed it. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The farm-to-table concept completely exceeded my expectations. You can truly taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully executed. Everything we ordered was amazing: the Mushroom Soup, Pork Dumplings, Fried Green Tomatoes, fresh Bread with Honey Butter, the Short Rib, Chicken, and the Filet. Every single plate was memorable. And to top off the evening, we had the Chocolate Mousse "Pie" with an Oreo cookie crust, which was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Went to the heritage table for the first time for lunch and it was amazing! My friend and I had the fried chicken biscuits and they tasted amazing and were cooked to perfection. The set up of the restaurant is so cute and welcoming, very open and bright. The service was outstanding, our glasses were always filled and she checked on us very frequently which was amazing! I just want to start out with saying that the service is beyond what is expected. I'm not sure why, but this place has never been on my "must try" places to visit. It was so good! My boyfriend's chicken was really tasty too. Also, our server was great! He was friendly and attentive and even brought us some samples of beer to try. This is a place we will be back to often. Overall, a great visit. I expect we'll be back soon. read more

For the record, any time I see prime rib on a menu I order it just to see if I'll ever return to that restaurant. Needless to say, it was prepared exactly to specification, with a perfect balance of tenderness coupled with the au jus sauce. My wife, having sampled every plate on the table, couldn't stop raving about the overall quality of every entree. Needless to say, I now have a new "safe" restaurant to add to our repertoire. I hate to add it as a side note, but the service was spot-on and our waitress was a perfect blend of attentive without being disruptive. If I lived in Frisco, WB's would be our local go-to spot. Instead, we'll break out of the bubble and visit often.
