We hosted our son and DIL's rehearsal dinner at Heritage Table. The evening was just perfect -- I would give 6 stars if I could! Abby did such a great job coordinating the event. She made sure everything was exactly as we wanted -- the food, drink (including several specialty bourbons), and ambience. We served appetizers; rolls and butter/jam; steak, salmon, and chicken entrees; and mini-desserts. Every course was excellent and several guests commented that this was among the best meals they had ever eaten. And the service was also on point (thank you Nico and crew!). After moving to Frisco, we've found it a bit difficult to find great restaurants without having to drive all the way to Dallas - but after seeing The Heritage Table on Yelp so many times we finally decided to try it. And boy it did not disappoint! The service was 10/10, our server was so nice and great with suggestions on the menu without being too overbearing. All the food was appropriately priced, and most of all was delicious. The whole menu is farm to table which we love, and everything tasted great. I'm ruined. The Heritage Table has ruined me for all other restaurants, and I'm bitter about not being able to eat there every single day. My daughter moved to Frisco and took us for dinner last night - November 4, 2023. We're a bit snobby about food. We've eaten at so many fabulous places around Dallas (Harvest in McKinney is a favorite!). We ordered several things from the menu and everything was amazing. Top that with a wonderful, helpful, friendly staff and the ambience (it's in an old house that feels intimate and relaxing) and it's a winning combination! From what I understand, they change their farm-to-table menu seasonally. We cannot wait to got back. Chef - whoever you are - you're a genius! Please open a restaurant in Rockwall someday! read more

We went here for the first time with a couple of friends and ended up closing the place down. The food was fantastic, and the drinks were very fresh, but the ambience and staff were the real gem. The house looking restaurant is very inviting when you walk in along with all of the staff. In particular, our waitress, Ashley, kept our party going and even joined in on the fun. We laughed and joked amongst ourselves and with her help of one-liners and her life journey, it made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped by after my wife's Co-worker recommendations. A little out of the way for us but a nice small niche location. The staff was excellent and friendly and the owner even stopped by to check on us. We stopped by for brunch. Food is good and again the customer service was great. The Cheddar Fries were my favorite from the menu. It is a huge portion so come hungry or bring about 3 other people so that you can finish. The have a full bar, but the brunch cocktails were a little lacking and need some new inspiration. I had the morning mule which included a blood orange cider....mmm no thanks. I'd say maybe try a blood organs simple syrup and middle some orange zest, might work out less tart and more refreshing. Anyway the restaurant is an older converted house and it really assist in providing that at home feel while dining. Worth a try. read more

Wow, wasn't sure what to expect for Heritage Table, but it delivers. DFW, you need to check this place out. HT was busy and energetic for a Tuesday night. Our waiter, Nico, was great. Super friendly, informative about the menu, always there when needed, but not intrusive. Perfect. From reviews, I see the other waiters are really good as well, but Nico's style was great for us. We can have high expectations when it comes to food. HT's menu is creative with just enough choices and with most of the ingredients locally sourced. We had the brisket and pork meatballs which were excellent (just a hint of smoke from the brisket). The mushroom soup with tiny amount of blue cheese crumbles was delicious. We both ordered the Celina wagyu strip (with frites), which we were not sure would be that tender, but absolutely delivered on the presentation, texture and flavor fronts. The wine menu included reasonably priced and interesting choices. Oh, and don't skip on the cocktails. The Cherry Buzz with cherry infused bourbon was one of the best Manhattan styled drinks I have ever had. Not too sweet...just right. So happy to have a place like this in Frisco. We were celebrating a family birthday on a very crowded Friday night and service was good considering the crowd and the fact we were a party of six plus a baby. The butter and homemade rolls were probably the best thing we ate all night and I would definitely come back just for the those. Four of us had dishes that included their handmade pasta which unfortunately was undercooked and was a really strange take on a gnocchi shape. I think we might have enjoyed our dishes more had the pasta been better. The rest of the food was not mindblowing, but not bad either. The folks at The Heritage Table go to great lengths to create that "farm fresh" look in every aspect of their business. This fresh menu features house made bread, cured and smoked meats, and locally sourced produce. The atmosphere is bright, inviting, and warm, invoking feelings of nostalgia as you listen to the wooden floors creaking under the weight of footsteps upstairs in this early 1900s Victorian home. We ordered the appetizer trio of dips(feta, pimento, and hummus), deviled eggs, coconut carrot curry soup, and fish tacos. My favorite dishes were the app trio, fish tacos, and coconut carrot curry soup. The reason for the three star review was on a few things. 1) My cortado was not quite right. The foam resembled more of a root beer float than a smooth and velvety microfoam. The shots were also so bitter that I could barely chug it fast enough(I desperately needed caffeine and didn't want to wait any longer). 2) The french Fries were very chewy and oily. Not at all crispy. They may need to check they're oil temp a little more often. 3) The Deviled Eggs-which are usually my favorite dish-were infused with so much vinegar that I almost had to cough from the fumes. If any of you health nuts take shots of apple cider vinegar like I do, then you'll be pretty close to knowing what these eggs tasted like. What an incredible discovery. We found the Heritage Table from an Eater article. My husband and I have been looking for really GREAT food in N. Dallas since moving here and HT didn't disappoint. I didn't look forward to driving up to Frisco for dinner but we did it and had an incredible time. Located inside a warm and cozy remodeled home, the HT creates an atmosphere of coming home to dinner. Everyone was warm and welcoming. It was Valentines Day (normally I hate going out this night) and the place was busy. But I never felt crowded. The menu was interesting with lots of typical fare (chicken pot pie, fish, steak etc) but lots of influences of mediterranean or Eastern European food (kofta and loska) We ordered our cocktails which were both fantastic. And we shared the kofta, the milk and honey rolls (a must order) with the green tomato jam (delicious) and the red snapper as our main. The kofta was spiced just right and with the condiments, really sang. The rolls were light and airy. Warm and delicious. They came with some salted butter and jam. And the snapper had a crispy skin that was delicious, served on a carrot puree with pesto. For dessert, they brought out a special one for us of a peanut butter banana pudding. SO GOOD!!! We love eating all kinds of food. From really complex and experimental to great street food etc. Heritage table is not complicated food. It is food done very well, with some interesting flavors and influences mixed in. Some really interesting taste combinations keep dishes interesting but it doesn't alienate those with a less adventurous palette. Totally would come back. Normally I would give 4 stars, but the staff, our waiter, Niko, the GM, Abby and the chef, Rich all made the night go from good to incredible. Everyone was professional and on top of their game, but they all made us feel so welcome and we chatted and shared our stories and love of food. This restaurant was absolutely adorable! I'd come back just for the patio! The atmosphere is really great, cute tables and hanging lights, we watched lightening off in the distance while enjoying our experience. The food was delicious, definitely seemed home made. We also really enjoyed the drinks as well. After we finished our meals and dessert we took our drinks to the porch swings and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The only thing that seemed odd was that service seemed a little rushed. But overall its fine. With the type of romantic restaurant it was it just felt like the restaurant was under staffed and before we could look at dessert or finish our drinks we were handed the bill. Overall - 2 star Value - 1 Star Food - 2 star Service - 3 star Ambiance - 3 star Very disappointed to see the changes to the Menu, the Pricing model, and effectively disrupting their concept. Heritage used to be a Farmhouse-style Kitchen with several great entrees and choices, reasonable portions with a really good balance on quality for value. The new concept offers ONLY - Two Entree choices designed for sharing (2-3 people) at $75 or $80 per entree. The value for the portions is actually ridiculous - as 1 person could eat the entire plate. The portions and preparation are below-average quality in my opinion - as they shifted menu options away from Farmhouse towards a Higher End offering of Lobster and Lamb Chops. Their offering simply falls far short and simply cannot compete on par with restaurants known for these offerings. Heritage Table, as a brand concept, doesn't even speak the language of Lobster and Chops. I don't see them making it. The offering is inadequate for the price. Even the service felt awkward the entire time, as it was I uncomfortable commenting on the food to the Server and the Chef - when they would stop by the table to ask. read more

We love downtown Frisco, lots of great spots to try. Sadly, Heritage House was not a hit for me tonight. Upon arrival, hostesses were not very welcoming. We were seated on the patio. We had a young lady who greeted us after some time. Another young lady brought us waters but she straight looked like she was going to kill us. No smile, nothing. It was truly scary. I'm being so legit. Eeek. Maybe a Halloween theme or something. We asked for recommendations and our server didn't really have anything to say, she told us she wasn't from around here and was not trying to talk anything on the menu up. We initially just came for dessert but felt a little noshy-so we ordered the corn chowder soup- very sweet and the polenta croutons tasted like styrofoam/ Mac and cheese- sadly like warm macaroni salad, wasn't cheesy or gooey/ trip dips, mediocre. We topped the night off with apple pie. It was really delicious but she did add the ice cream without asking but hey, there ain't no other way to eat apple pie. It was so good! My water sat empty for a good while, she just was not very friendly or accommodating. I'm huge on service and this place was a huge letdown. Clean modern farmhouse take on an old converted Frisco home, complete with original hand blown glass windows. Food is phenomenal. Pick the seared or beer battered fresh cod tacos. Or order one of each! The 3-cheese Mac with bacon is a great side. For dessert, try the salted caramel pot de creme. Several local brewery selections on draft and a well rounded selection of wines are a plus. Didn't try the specialty cocktails but they sound amazing. Service is the kicker for a 5-star rating. Not only was the wait staff attentive and accommodating for special food requests, the owner came by to introduce himself and checked on us again later during our meal. The Heritage Table was a fantastic experience! My wife knew the owners and was interested in checking it out. We live in East Dallas, so the drive had me really hoping for something great. We weren't disappointed. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the meatloaf. The tacos were some of the best I've had. The fish tasted fresh and I loved the sauce, roasted corn, and cabbage slaw. Great combination! My wife had the meatloaf and said it was fantastic. She rarely finishes a whole dinner plate but where there is a will there is a way. She loved the meatloaf and the spicy tomato sauce. I tried the mashed potatoes and they were quite good. We didn't think that the evening could get any better and then we shared the peach fried pie for dessert. We were wrong. It's worth it just to visit for the fried pie. Wow, it was great! We can't wait to return to Frisco for The Heritage Table. We have family living nearby now, so maybe we'll tell them we're visiting them, but we all know why we're there. read more
