The food was impeccable! The miso soup was refreshing with a strong dashi broth to warm you up on a cold night. The I Love Salmon came with 5 pieces of sashimi, 3 nigiri and their JB Roll (salmon and cream cheese). It was beautifully plated on a playful and colorful plate. The pieces of fish were thick and the rice was warm with a perfect amount of flavor. This is honestly my favorite sushi spot after trying many sushi places across California from LA to Humboldt and in Las Vegas from Tao to All You Can Eat options of every tier. The dragon roll was another plate of perfection with thick pieces of shrimp tempura with a good crunch to it! Today we came back and tried their lunch menu. It was a great appetizer and the sauces complimented the seafood so well. On a side note the little slices of oranges that came with it were also really sweet! I wish I had the whole orange. Lastly we shared the mango strawberry float which is a refreshing sweet drink. The mango on top reminded me of sherbet which was very light and the drink had a good sweetness to it from the strawberries. This is definitely a must go to if you're in or driving through Buena Vista, Colorado. Perfect place for any occasion with a calm dimly lit restaurant.
