She had us wait while she took a phone call and the line ended up being 5 customers deep. I got home and the master/universal lug nut remover I purchased didn't fit on what was working on. I took it back to return it. They wanted to charge me $22 for a re-stocking fee. I could see the shelf from where I got at the cashier stand. I stated it was not ok and was told since I'm making a scene they would wave the charges. 3 customers in line behind me also those $22 was ridiculous. He guided me to where the engines were, then helped me carry to the register and to my car once I was rung up. I had both my kids with me, one in a carrier and a toddler, so it was wonderful to get such great customer service. Today I came in again, because I ended up needing a smaller engine. Once again I had pretty good help by the employees. Only thing that kind of irked me was this lady who didn't wear a mask walking in and talking loudly throughout the store. On their doors it says its mandatory, no one stopped her to ask her to put on a mask like the rest of the stores around. I know what most of you are thinking, oh you're one of those people. I am, but I'm not, I just believe if everyone who's working and people who are around are respecting everyone by doing so, why couldn't they ask her to do the same. It would have been different if she was in and out, but she stood by the register to chit chat for ten minutes, flapping her lips and spit everywhere. So why didn't you guys ask her to put a mask on, when it says it in the door?

I was amazed by the awesome security they had at this Lenhart's Ace Hardware. The moment my friend…read moreand I stepped in the store, the long haired elderly woman immediately pointed her fingers at my friend and demanded him to leave his backpack on the dirty floor. My friend was very compliant and obeyed her hand signals, but was greatly confused as he didn't understand any English. I asked why and she said it was to prevent theft, but there wasn't any signs stating that there was this policy in place. They have security cameras all over the store and don't have any reason to suspect us as we just walked into the store. What if our bags and items inside got stolen? Who would be held responsible? To prevent theft they should hire more security instead of lowering the shopping experience of loyal customers. How would you feel if you stepped inside a store to shop but was suddenly accused of theft out of nowhere? I can't imagine how bad my friend felt. She even started threatening us and said she would call the manager. Luckily for her, we were in a rush so we went to a different Ace Hardware right afterwards and the people there didn't stop us at all and we finished our shopping there without any mishaps. We also asked them if they had a leave the bag at the door policy, but they looked confused as well. I was greatly disappointed by how they treated their customers and felt strongly discriminated against. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend this place to others!

The service has always been satisfactory and typically quick. They also offer complementary fresh popped popcorn which I think is such a nice touch. I personally come here to buy food for my flock (chickens and ducks) and the peach rings.. lol! I always forget to snag pictures but they have lots of items within their inventory. Within the store, they have tools, clothing/shoes, livestock feed/items, guns, fishing items (including bait/live worms), dog items, uhaul services, and so much more. They have live chicks (seasonally) as well which I have to shield my eyes from looking at.... :). Lately they have typically been priced at $5.99 a chick (or more depending on breed). They have had some really awesome breeds in the past. I do feel the value is comparable to other feed stores within the area throughout the years. The prices have raised in the last year so I haven't done a comparison price for price recently. For poultry feed specifically, they offer Country Companion (CC), Nutrena, Purina, Kruse's Perfection and organic brands (this list is not inclusive of all items just the ones I remember).
