of course this is a zero negative rating. this is a beyond horrible nightmare experience @ Home Depot appliance order/delivery! 1- 8/15/24 appliances ordered in store 2- 8/20/24 appliances arrived and found were incorrect items ordered by home depot staff on 8/15, installation was rejected by this 3rd party delivery comp of H.D. AND LEFT IN THE LIVING ROOM in my rental unit. i made multiple calls to HD pasadena for i was needing help, but i kept on getting my line hang up by this same female employee, she simply cut me off and transfer me out and cut me off repeatedly, until the 7th call it is her again, and i wanted to know what is her name, this time she cut me off straight!! i was busy at work and can only make my trip to the shop the next day. 3- 8/21/24 - I went in HD in person and was told that I had to make a NEW order on correct items, so with assistance of store manager Tim he was attentive this day and he had appliance staff Alison helped on the new order, plse NOTED- I made payment TWICE ! or the same items-TWICE. ! while making 2nd order, i was promised by Alison, that on the NEW Order delivery date on 8/28/24, the 1st incorrect order would be picked up ! 4- 8/28/24- the 2nd order delivered but, the 3rd party delivery comp would not picked up the 1st order, they claimed it was not on the picked up list ! 5- 8/28/24- I had to go back HD in person again, and Alison found that, it was NOT on the list for reason ?? She made the request again, and it's to be on 9/5/24 to pick up 6- 9/4/24 - I received a message by this HD 3rd party delivery comp that the 9/5 pick up is cancelled due OVERCAPACITY ! 7- 9/5/24 - i HAD to go back HD in person AGAIN ! and Alison again called and scheduled the 9/10 date will to pick up 8- 9/9/24- I RECEIVED AGAIN, a message the 9/10 pick up is cancel, and AGAIN -OVERCAPACITY!! 9- IS THIS beyond RIDICULOUS TO DESCRIBE ??!! 10- on 9/9/24 I made 4 calls to HD delivery, got xfer for 2 hours bk n forth, getting NO Where, I went in the store AGAIN asked for Manager Tim, he did NOT BOTHER to come to meet me LEFT ME STANDING IN STORE, INSTEAD, CALLED me on phone that he be TRYING?! RECAP-This is Beyond HORRIBLE experience, i have lost rent revenue 9/1-9/11 for this MESS by H.D. that 2 large appliances were sitting in unit living and dinning room AND new tenant CAN'T move in. they were FINALLY picked up on 9/12 after 3 cancellations! today is 9/26, i still not yet receive my FULL refund on this order, WHY ? and i was OFFERED a minimal amount of GiftCard as compensation to this ridiculous Matter!! is it so Fair? read more

I had the worst experience with the appliance delivery service. My fridge was originally scheduled for July 19th, when the two men came they said there was no way they could fit the fridge in through my front deck area. I also have stairs from the attached garage going up to my living area. The guy told me it wouldn't fit unless I had the stair railing removed. He advised me to call a handyman to remove it, so I did. I paid $130 to have it removed. Once the railing was off, I called to reschedule my delivery. They came on Tuesday the 23rd, two different men. The one guy said he didn't feel safe bringing it up those stairs because now there's no railing and nothing to hang on to. He told me that first guy should've never told me to have the railing removed. So, after looking at my outside deck area access, he measured and said he probably could get it in through there. The doors would have to be taken off, i said fine, I just want my fridge to get in my kitchen! He and the other guy had no problem getting it in through that way. Why couldn't the other guys do that on my original delivery day!!??? They didn't even try but instead told me to get the railing off of my stairs inside and cost me $130! They were just plain incompetent and lazy! At least when I called to complain, Home Depot appliance center said they would credit me the $130 I paid my handyman because that wasn't right that they asked me to do that. Also, there was a small dent in one of the doors on my new fridge and they are giving me 20% off. I have yet to see these credits but it's only been a couple days. I will definitely keep on the lookout. The best part, I paid for the haul away service of my old fridge. When I went outside my place of residence later on, I saw my old fridge on the grass next to the street. They didn't even haul it away!!! I had to call back and complain again! I said my city will not pick that up and I could get in trouble for that! They are supposed to be picking it up tomorrow.... We'll see. Honestly, the worst experience ever! I enjoyed this location, but it's hard to find parking. I am reviewing this place as a person that went just looking at plants. I appreciate the indoor plant collection here, they are getting better and better as time passes. I always hope for Costa Farms or cute, new agreements and shipments from their growers or farmers. Sunday 8/6/23 stop in to have some door keys made. I seen an employee standing by the key machine so I approached him, I jokingly said to him are you the key guy? And it was downhill from there. Past Friday I had $3100 worth of washer and dryer delivered that I purchase from that Home Depot. Last night I spent $200 on a front door lock set. To run into an employer like that with such a bad attitude was terrible. I have mixed feelings about the quality of goods available at Pasadena Home Depot. I have shopped here quite a few times now. Purchases include a Ryobi Power Washer, Vinyl lettering, storage containers, gardening items. etc. It is a large location with lots of inventory, closer than Monrovia, helpful employees and I had no problem returning 17 storage containers with my receipts. My dissatisfaction is related to the quality of some of their merchandise. I purchased 17 large storage bins that were advertised as being high quality. The brand is apparently exclusive to Home Depot. Having purchased storage bins from Home Depot in the past, which i still use in my business 15 years later, I was expecting similar quality. Instead their new exclusive brand began breaking within two to three weeks. Cracking on the sides and several broke into pieces. They also smelled like cheap plastic and made all of my product inventory smell. Six of them failed. I returned all 17 and received a full refund which is why I only removed one star. More recently I decided to price check several products to local stores where I know the quality is high, and found that Home Depot was the same for low quality Chinese imports. Since then, I have been looking elsewhere. Quality is as important as price. I need to trust I am making a good investment. Parking at this location closest to the store is congested, but they do have tower parking on the left which seems under utilized. If you're purchasing large or heavy items, the tower parking is less favorable. They have a large garden area which is nice A wide variety of products. However, other neighboring retailers like Ace Hardware, Target and the lumber company across the street, may have better quality for some items. read more

I've been a Home Depot customer in 2 countries, 4 cities, removing 4 houses and for over 30 years. Having a home depot in Pasadena is great, but my first choice for most of my product is Ganahl. My issues with Home Depot: - Parking is awful and extremely tight - Covered parking structure is great especially during our long hot Summers, but many of the close spaces are filled by employees as soon as the day starts. Therefore customers have to park and walk the furthest if trying to take advantage of the shaded parking. - Employees are very social among themselves, making it difficult to ask for help as they walk by telling stories to each other and having fun. It's very frustrating when you need help. - I had a gift card defrauded before I could use it. Remotely. PIN had never been uncovered. $100. In order to get the money back, I have to apply with their product extended warranty provider and give them the receipt which involves having to go back to the gifter and ask for the receipt. I opted to lose my $100 to avoid an embarrassing situation. Home Depot management was useless in helping. - There are some great employees in the lot. People who don't socialize with one another and pay attention to customers, but the service is on a free fall at that location, I feel. I get much better service at Ganahl just one block away. I can drive my car to the lumber at Ganahl. Home Depot is basically very disabled-unfriendly. Ganahl is the opposite. Very serious, but great customer service unlike Home Depot. read more

Paying my card & ordering on app- no issues. Curbside - go luck. App & pick up email will tell you HOW to pick up but won't let you. Try to call & tell what space # you're in & you'll be on hold for 5+ or it'll disconnect. Asking a random associate to let customer service know you'll get a monologue on using the app or calling when you just wanted some assistance. Not Disabled Friendly for sure‍Cant have delivery to my apt as neighbors shop on others' porches. Products are good just need to be able to get them safely. WORST SERVICE EVER IN THE RENTAL DEPARTMENT AT THE PASADENA HOME DEPOT. I rent tools and equipment all the time from Homedepot until now. This was my experience from the Pasadena Home Depot and Alex the Store Manager. I rented a dehumidified a few months ago and come to find out we need it for much longer thn planned. I asked how much to buy this old and used dehumidifier and Alex the Store Manager said you have to report it lost or stolen and we will charge you full retail, $1800. I said it is used and you should charge me a fraction of that retail price. I then said what if I bring this rental back and I will pay the full price and give me a new one and he said no. So I have called the help line, got a case number and no one has called be back, Case # 33547939. I also tried to call Ted Decker the CEO of HomeDepot and no one knows his number. I now have a Fedex letter being sent to Ted Decker and I have reported the fraud charges to my American Express card. In addition, the last time I was in the have disposed of all there old rental equipment and even have sales but they still want there full price for this old and used dehumidifier. Mine is old and green. SEE PHOTO ATTACHED! DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH HOME DEPOT. Do not buy appliances here. I got a high end GE refrigerator. The installer told me I had 7 days to be totally satisfied or I could return it. When we found the doors sticking and the shelving set up less desirable we called and were told that we only had 24 hours to return it. Now we are stuck with a refrigerator that is not good. I would not recommend buying appliances here. I've always had great luck at Best Buy. Very disappointing. read more

I purchased a major appliance from this Home depot. I experienced problems with in the first day. On the third day I went to the Home Depot for help. I spoke to an employee named Stephen and he told me I cannot return this because this was beyond the 48 hour delivery. I then asked for a manager. Stephen fetched Rafael. I explained the problem and Rafael's response was I shouldn't buy GE. He repeated this over and over. I told him this is not over and walked away. I learned that the return period is longer than 48 hours. I also resent the belittling that Rafael dumped on me. Going forward I will not spend one dime at this Home depot and when my wife and I remodel our kitchen next year Home Depot will not be involved. I just want to give a review to the Pasadena store. Generally, the employees seem to be genuinely interested in helping you. I shop HD all the time and typically go to Monrovia or El Monte. While it seems like the Pasadena store doesn't have as large as a selection compared to the other locations, I have to say that I am really happy with Pasadena's customer service. Yesterday, I went to the Pasadena store because there was an online deal on a Milwaukee tool that I could not get the online stated discount to work. Sarena at Customer Service was able to work with a HomeDepot.com representative and a store manager to get me the deal. She continued to apologize for the time I had to spend in the store, but was very friendly and helpful where it was hard for me to be upset. If I ever have a problem and need to go to HD, I'm going to the Pasadena store and hope that Sarena can help me! read more

This location is passive-aggressive in their attitude towards people with limited mobility. Part of their attitude seems to revolve around a lack of understanding that people who need wheelchairs are not the only folks who need hardware and home improvement supplies - those of us who need aids such as canes or crutches are seriously inconvenienced by their handicapped parking spaces being all but for two down by the contractors entrance at building materials. We need to dodge the contractors fighting to get their trucks loaded in the inadequate space, or, during the evenings, we need to limp over to the far end of the store to the main doors, limp across the store, then reverse the process when it's time to pay. When the inconvenience is brought to the attention of the employees, they just shrug their shoulders. Far better to drive over to Monrovia, where the parking and access are much better. read more

I would not normally review Home Depot (I mostly review FOOD) but felt compelled to acknowledge the OUTSTANDING customer service department here - specifically Joseph and Gerardo. We came in kinda late on a Friday evening. My mom's stove stopped working the day before, and we found a great Pre-Black Friday deal on one for her. The problem, she needed it quick and the computer showed two in stock but also showed they were not available. These two amazing employees were not at all put out by our request and in fact personally hunted one down for us. We were able to purchase it and get it to her the next day. Glad there is a Home Depot closer to me. In general I can find what I need. There is sufficient parking, and though sometimes it can get full, there is always a parking structure a few steps away (and covered) with many more spaces. Otherwise it is like every other home depot - although I feel like it is less crowded than the El Monte one. read more

I usually don't write reviews unless a business is derelict in their service or duties, and Home Depot Pasadena deserves a review. Home Depot's in general have declined for several years in the service department. There was a time many years ago when you actually were certain to ask a knowledgeable employee a question and expect expert information in return. Those days are gone and what is worse is that there is no one to answer the phone when you call. The Pasadena store in particular is a nuisance. You will almost never speak to an employee on the phone. I will do whatever it takes to either visit another store or likely support a mom and pop local hardware. read more

If I could give them less than a 1, I would certainly do it. I went to this Home Depot Location (Pasadena, CA) inquiring about getting a Leaf Blower repaired. I took the purchase receipt with me to show proof of purchase which was Feb of 2022. The warranty from home depot says 3 years coverage for warranty service on Power Tools. When I spoke to an associate there, they said the warranty was only 90 days, as opposed to what I had read. I asked if they could still send it for repair, and I was told they couldn't help me at all. That was definitely the wrong answer. Hope Depot is only in it to sell new merchandise, and they could care less about the customer. Now I know why there's so many lawsuits against Home Depot. read more

I'm not sure what is going on with this Home Depot: folks who do not like to be frustrated should stay away. Twice I've come to purchase items their website said was in stock here, and on both occasions that was not true. Another time I stopped by to get a storage container, and then spent 10 minutes looking for the correct lid because they were nowhere near the containers themselves. I asked two employees who were having a profanity-laced conversation at the end of the aisle if they might be able to help me, but they let me know they were helping a curbside customer. I like home depot but this location sucks. First I went to pick up some light bulbs and over heard a customer asking for 3 way bulbs. The associate had no idea what it was , so I helped her find them. Then I went to get 10 keys made. There was no one in hardware so I went to the front desk. They said" no one is working in hardware but I can make keys at the single key machine in front" . After watching someone else make 1 key and it taking 3 minutes a key that was out. I went to ask a manager for help and He said I'll help you in a minute and never saw him again. I guess the other 10 associates standing around looking around couldn't help. Finally found a 2x4 that was ALMOST straight. I didn't have a bar code on it when I got to the register. I told her exactly what it was and the price. 2x4 14ft. Price $14.43. The clerk said "I don't know what to do. It's not my problem" and moved on to the next customer. A bunch of employees just standing around but none could go do a SKU check.
