Great Christmas tree lineup.

I know a lot of people complain about the Home Depot. My neighbors, my contractors, and of course people on Yelp. For Home Depot to work for you, it's better to look up your items online, write down the aisle and bay number, and then go. I always use the self checkout, which is painless. I can't speak about customer service, but then I try not to interact with them since I know what's going to happen given the reviews. But again, if you know what you want, then the Home Depot is ok.

What I ordered

Beware of ordering plants on line from Home Depot. I just received a $40.00 plant that looks NOTHING like what I ordered. It is supposed to be a shasta daisy shrub - the picture shows what I received. Note - I had previously filled out the form that Home Depot referred me to and have yey to hear back from anyone

LG dryer and washer! Defect product due to electronically gadgets of product. No large purchases at Home Depot!

No RETURNS on large purchase items from Home Depot. Must go to manufacturer after 48 hours. So no recourse as to refund or replacing defected large ticket items after 48 hours. Retail clerk called Home Depot delivery guy instead of LG to check product which was defected and validated product defect! Can't get a hold of LG. Getting lawyer advise now. I never had to go thru this experience with Macy's or Sears... i wish Sears was around!

There are major issues with the paint department. Their ability to match paint is non existent. They are also way too concerned with getting you to buy more expensive paint, to the point of almost refusing to just match the paint sample you give them and give you what you are requesting. They are incredibly rude while doing so, as if they are used to fielding off all the customers who are forced to come back because they got the completely wrong color/finish. Then they refuse to let you return or exchange the unuseable paint they sold you. I simply needed plain, flat, white ceiling paint that appeared to have no tint in it, and even that was not possible. They were more concerned with selling me the expensive "scrubbable" flat paint, which actually has more of an eggshell sheen. When I showed them the pics of the shiny spots all over my ceiling where I had patched some holes, they insisted it was my camera. Then they made me wait while they made their own sample from the bad paint, which showed the same sheen. They said it must not be dry and made me wait 10 minutes while they dried this paint to just to prove a point. The guy absolutely refused to refund or even exchange for the right kind of paint and was literally yelling while debating me about all of this, over one quart of paint. I asked what happens if its wrong again, and he wouldnt answer. I still had to fix my ceiling so I asked them to match the same sample of drywall that came directly from my ceiling that I brought the first time and he tried to color match from the can I was trying to return instead. I had to stop hom and tell him to use the sample I gave him and specifically told him not to attempt to match a bad can of paint I couldnt use. He continued to try to match from the bad paint anyways. I told him I had a disabled person to get home to multiple times whole this guy haggled, yelled and ignored everything I asked for. I finally had to leave without paint. The other can of paint I got was way also way off. Something is wrong with their color matching system and instead of fixing it or making it right, they gaslight and fight with customers. these guys cant even tell you what sheen to get when you bring a 6" block of the actual drywall of the paint you need. And if you think the supervisor cares, she was right there with him arguing with a customer and was incredibly rude. Four out of four cans were all WRONG. Then they put "no returns" right on the label while the Home Depot website guarantees their color match system with an exchange or return. This store refuses to do either. I suggest this store stop obsessing on pushing expensive paint and learn how to match both the sheen and color of the samples people bring you. Also honor the Home Depot policy to return or exchange paint if its poorly matched.

Hope no one needs items in Bay 8 of this aisle

Dig Gardens in Santa Cruz has it all: plants, trees, succulents, pots, planting accessories,…read morebooks, gifts, furniture, cards, and even jewelry.... But did you know they also have classes?!!! I KNOW, RIGHT?!! That's crazy. I thought they had everything, but now they really do! I took my first class at Dig Gardens: it was to make a Kokedama (a plant growing out of a moss ball that you can hang or place). It was taught by Kitty, whom I adore because, well, she's the sweetest. I picked a Lemon Lime Prayer Plant, named it "Stanley", and had to rework it several times to a point that it was almost embarrassing. Thankfully I know the instructor, so that made it better. Haha. The other "students" were awesome because aren't all plant parents and plant lovers the best?!! Well we all laughed when we lost leaves or messed up. It was really fun. This class included all the materials, tools, your choice of plant, and drinks (water or wine). No one surprisingly chose wine - I guess we took Kokodama very seriously! It was a 2 hour class but finished in 1.5 hours. It was around $65 I believe, and totally worth the experience as well as all the materials. Classes take place behind the store in a little workshop in the outdoor garden. Only a couple people took the class with a friend, and everyone else took it solo, like me. I would definitely take another class here.

Our plant prayers have been answered and it's Leaf & Vine!…read more Recently opened next to Starbucks on Camden and Hwy 17, this adorable plant shop is chock full of delightful plants, supplies to keep our babies thriving, and thoughtfully curated gifts like soy candles. There is something for everyone here! I'm sad that I didn't take more than one photo (this time), but expect to walk into a bright, lush, green and homey space. They've got air plants, pothos, monstera, lithops in a variety of colors, carnivorous plants, orchids, rare plants, and so much more! I didn't even know where to look first - a kid in a candy shop The owners were so nice and welcoming! Very knowledgeable about plants and took time to share more about items like bringing in pottery from local artists (we went home with a gorgeous planter). They just opened a little over a week ago so they're in the process of getting everything tagged, but if you have any questions, just ask and they'd be happy to help! They also have a location in Santa Cruz, in case you happen to be out there! Let's talk prices. They are so reasonable. The plants are really healthy (lots of flowering succulents, budding plants) and worth the prices. I already have an idea of what I want to get next time! Don't miss out on visiting this fabulous place!
