Came here for the first time with my wife and son. We ordered:…read moreBacon Cheeseburger w/ Garlic Fries- flavorful and good, but our least favorite of these 3 burgers. Garlic Burger w/ Garlic Fries- if you're a garlic fan, this was packed with a pretty strong garlicky taste. Superman w/ Garlic Fries- large and flavorful. Not too spicy from the jalapeños, but the veggies and bun balances it out. Banana Pudding- probably the best that I've ever had and I've eaten a lot. We got a combo with all garlic fries and a refillable fountain drinks. The burgers were made fresh and so juicy. The garlic fries were ridiculously delicious. The drinks were Texas made and they delicious. I loved the strawberry cream soda or the orange cream soda. Lots of different burgers and desserts to choose from. Overall, decently priced for the portions and the quality of the food. These burgers were probably the best fresh juicy burgers that we've had so far in town. We will definitely be back to try the other choices. Staff are very friendly. It was pretty busy so they gave me a heads up about waiting approximately 40mins which was ok for us cause we had time on our side. I was just happy and appreciative that they communicated that vs me just waiting forever thinking that they forgot about me. The restaurant is self order and pickup. As small as it looks on the inside, there's quite a bit tables to include a mini snack shop. There are additional tables outside too. It can get a little congested near the cashiers area. The parking lot is small and can be hard to find parking, but we scored a spot right in front. Some parked on the grass along the main road, just be careful.

The burgers are huge and great. We ordered a Bacon Burger combo and a Cheese Burger combo. Service was top notch! I could spend hours reading the writing on the walls and the signs inside and out. Aside from burgers they offer homemade desserts. We drove from Lake Somerville so it's worth the drive from anywhere!

My wife got the Cuban taco and she really liked it. She barely finished there was so much. Our waitress was awesome. She suggest some drinks that were fantastic. She took great care of us. It's a cool little place with booths and small tables. I could see myself hanging out here. Lots of Texas craft beers on a wide variety of drinks. I highly recommend it.

The place…read morehas been slinging burgers, tacos and cocktails to the Brazos Valley since forever in restaurant years and the locals seem to love it for good reason. My wife ordered a burger and devoured it without a single word. This is how I know she truly enjoyed it. I went for two tacos (they run about $6 bucks each) including the Pulled Hammy and the Mama Migas. Both were packed with flavor and spicy enough to keep me on my toes. Service was on point. Our waitress hustled even though it was a chill lunch crowd. The bar itself has this cozy (not wide) historic downtown vibe with brick and wood and all the kind of stuff you see in those hip Austin places people brag about. This is why you give everyone a 2nd chance. We'll be back!

We started with the Cajun sampler and the Cajun fries were on point. I got the crawfish boil I ordered 3 pounds and it was probably closer to 5 pounds and it was as good as any I have had. My wife got the shrimp boil and it was "1 pound" realistically it was closer to 2. My sons got a fish dinner and a shrimp dinner and it was great according to them. The green beans were real food. Not just dumped from a can with a little bit of salt, but real southern cooking. All of that food for less than $100 before tip. Teller only downside was they were out of boudin balls so I guess we will have to come back again!!!

The restaurant looks almost like a converted house from the outside, but nicely kept with parking around the side. The interior is simple but upbeat in its New Orleans decor. The owner cheerfully met us at the door and invited us to sit wherever we wanted. She was hajppy, helpful and patient throughout the visit. We ordered all of our favorites to try; gumbo, etouffee, catfish, shrimp, dirty rice. While I have had better crawfish etoufee, the shrimp and catfish were king! The fish was mild, cut in a thick filet and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp was also perfect and very pleasing. It was all served with a grilled piece of bread that went well with the meal. It's good to have these folks in Bryan. I would definitely dine at Remnant of Nawlins again.

I wasn't disappointed. The area is beautiful! The ambiance of the dining area is simple and tactfully decorated and the chairs, comfortable. Our sever was happy and upbeat and the managing owner checked in on us frequently to make sure that we were taken good care of. A sure sign that they care about their customers. There menu is interesting with a creative twist on breakfast/brunch fare. I had really good breakfast tacos with a small black bean side. To be honest, I am not a black bean fan but really enjoyed these! The home fries were also very satisfying. They also offered cornbread pancakes that were really something special. The manager said that it was their own take on pancakes and Johnny cakes. My whole crew enjoyed everything! The whole experience was really pleasant and plan to visit again next time I am in town. The restaurant was bustling with a lot of people who all seemed very happy. I thought the ambiance was great which has really left my with a positive impression of the place. Great job crew!
