went to the location in San Anselmo, overall I would rate my experience as below average, I got the American burger, onion rings and a side of Mac & Cheese. Wife got a Nashville chicken sandwich and garlic fries. The burger I got was dry and overcooked and the patty had no flavor at all AKA Grey Meat, onion rings were dripping in oil, clearly didn't let them rest to let the oil drip off and the fries were limp and soggy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for the service, it was ok at best but was overshadowed by the horrible country music that was playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This wasn't like good country that could be enjoyed by most people it was that kind of country that only true country fans would like. I won't go back, better burger places in the area than this.

Drove past The Hub after hiking at Muir Woods and decided to try it out. We were greeted right away and asked if we had any questions about the menu. All the staff were very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered our food and decided to sit outside because the weather was so nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is very clean and it wasn't too crowded over super loud inside, very family friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything we got was yummy. The food was not greasy and everything tasted fresh. We would definitely come back when we are around the part of town.

I'm not even joking right now, the hub burgers has the best burgers! It is literally one of my favorite burger spots I've ever been to. I also recently tried one of their salads and it was just an explosion of amazing flavors! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service and overall vibes are always amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The hubs and I stopped here for a late lunch since they advertise that their burgers are not only grass fed but grass finished (instead of grain) I wonder how this is different from organic, will have to ask next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside where there are plenty of tables and chairs and a tv that was showing sports[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We shared a burger and the Olema salad. I love that they have a make your own burger option with a few choices of breads and items you may want inside. I chose the wheat bread with lots of greens etc. it was good. Burger is a bit small and the patty itself tasted like it had no seasoning so a bit bland. They were nice enough to offer to cut it in half for us when he heard we were going to share. The hand cut fries were great, light and had the right amount of crunch and flavor. Tasted fresh and not of a heavy stale oil like some places. I loved all the flavors in the Olema salad, which you could add a protein too if you wanted, but I just wanted the salad. Usually salads with beets, goat cheese and candied pecans just have greens (and maybe sometimes chicken) but no other fruits and veggies. But here, on top of arugula and baby kale plus the beets, goat cheese, candied pecans, they gave you pears and my favorite fruit, pomegranates as well, that added an awesome sweet and sour crunch!!! Is your mouth watering yet? Everything tasted fresh and fabulous together. My one critique about it would be the maple vinaigrette. Though I don't mind a bit of sweetness in my salad dressing and this one did taste good, it was too sweet for this salad. The salad already had a lot of sweetness with the pears, pomegranates, beets and the abundant candied pecans so the vinaigrette needed to be more acidic and less sweet. Other than that it was great and we will be back to try other things on the menu.

Not enough meat AT ALL at this price!!!!!

I give a rave review for the hubs salads and the malted milkshakes of my past * but my $30 lunch today was horribly disappointing. * The burger was small and left with bread and still hungry and I'm just super bummed.

Was craving burgers after my hike, and I found this gem. Upon arrival, there was a long line, but it went by fast. There's indoor and outdoor seating. You order first, they shout out your name and deliver to you. Staff is super friendly and attentive. They sell beer and wine. Sorry, no liquor. Instead i ordered the rainbow detox salad because I knew I should be healthy. It was perfectly portioned and loved the sauce. My friend ordered the hub burger w/ mac& cheese and he said it was good! Enjoyed the shakes (there goes my calories). Definitely tasted handcrafted. Lots of parking in the lot. Tesla super chargers are coming soon, so yay for Tesla drivers.

If there's any upside to the grossly inflated price of dining out in San Francisco in 2023 it is this: I'm suddenly forgoing City dining in favor of places closer to home where the prices are feeling reasonable, not off-putting. A friend has been recommending The Hub to me for quite a while. She goes out of her way, driving from Sausalito, to lunch at The Hub. Twice, she's called from there inviting me to an impromptu lunch but I've never been available. So I finally just took myself there. I now understand why she makes the drive. The Hub is well-priced, pleasantly outfitted, serves a great burger, airs NBA/MLB/NFL games, and has some really excellent lunchtime and happy hour (weekdays 3:30-5p.m.) deals. For about $13 I got their lunchtime offer of a burger, 3 toppings, fries, and a soft drink. It was a very good and filling meal and one I'll happily return for. Signs announce that there's a "student special" offer at lunchtime which brings a meal similar to mine down in price, to about $10. For this reason, you may wish to come a bit past normal lunchtime hours to avoid the student rush. The owner was taking orders and manning the register (food is delivered to your table when ready) on my visit. Seeing the student special I suggested The Hub consider offering a "senior special". Before saying he would consider doing so, he rattled off several other special offers they currently have (e.g. "teacher's special") so if you fall into a specific category it might be worth inquiring whether there's a specials category for you. Specials or not, I really liked everything about The Hub and look forward to a return visit.

Lone line out the door with only one register staffed.

Lots of seating inside as well as outside. It was a nice day but a little too warm so we opted to sit inside. You have to order at the counter/register before you find your seat. We ordered the falafel salad and the poke tacos to share. Completely forgot to take photos which is not like me but both were really good. Salad was a big portion, came with lettuce, beets, chickpeas, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, quinoa, feta, hummus, the falafel of course and a tahini dressing. Super refreshing. I'd order it again. Everything paired well together. The poke tacos order came with 3. The spicy mayo was a nice touch. Again, would order this again. For our drinks, i ordered a Paloma and my friend got a margarita. Drinks were refreshing. Not that strong but still good. Even though you have to order up front, they have someone coming to clean the tables and he even came while we were still sitting down, which was nice. Staff was friendly and pleasant! Will definitely be coming back to try other things. They have a lot of things to choose from, plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non), as well as desserts! Can't believe I work so close and am only getting to this spot now. Check them out if you can!

A couple of outdoor areas, some under shade with picnic tables. Located in Marin County, California, The Lodge in Fairfax is an iconic, historic establishment built in 1908 by the Arbini and Segale families as The Old Timer's Saloon, serving as the town's very first bar. After years of being utilized differently, the building underwent an extensive two-year restoration. The owners of the San Francisco bike shop Big Swingin' Cycles purchased the property, upgrading its infrastructure, adding a kitchen, and building a large, dog-friendly outdoor beer garden. You get that feeling that you really are at a lodge at the lake in Wisconsin. At least for a minute, it brings back memories. However, in place of the white and red pine trees are the gorgeous redwoods providing shade. Nice tap beer list with healthy portions served. I had the mushroom tacos, vegetarian style with a little salad and chips $10 and a half a beer. My lunch mate had the summer salad with chicken added $25 bucks which is a little steep, but certainly enough for two people. Served in a very large bowl. It's quite impressive. I would forgo the protein and save the six bucks extra. Great spot, great service, great ambience, great food, and beer. Walk, drive your car, or bicycle in. There are a bike racks and some parking on site.

I honestly didn't realize how much I'd enjoy playing pinball until coming here--there aren't many spots that have that kind of unique feature anymore, and it really added to the experience. I went for a Yelp Elite event, and it was great. The owner was there and super welcoming, and his staff were genuinely nice and attentive. We were given bracelets that gave us access to two drinks, which was a fun self-pour experience. That said, it would've been helpful to get a quick tip on pouring (like tilting your glass) beforehand--foam can sneak up on you fast , especially with so many people around. Because it was busy, we were also given a card that allowed unlimited access to the games, which was awesome and made the night even better. I definitely enjoyed my time here. The owner also mentioned that you can rent individual tables or even the whole venue for events, which is something I'd absolutely consider in the future. I'll definitely be back.
