    Korean fried chicken
    Kristine K.

Today we got the seasonal summer veggies, Korean fried chicken sandwich, and summertime turkey burger. Service was good and ambiance was nice. My partner liked his burger and we both liked the seasonal squash with heirloom tomatoes and corn, but I did not like my chicken sandwich at all. The gochujang sauce tasted sour and it was drenched in kewpie mayo. It was a huge soggy mess which I had to take a part and eat with a fork and knife. I will resume having my favorite veggie burger orders and not get chicken sandwiches here again.

Heritage Birger with turkey patty, bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce and aioli

Roam Burgers' blends fast-food dining in a mall environment with a local-sourced, sustainability approach. I like the Heritage Burger with a Diestel free-range turkey patty, bacon, cheddar, aioli, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato. The rich bacon, cheddar, onions & aioli complement the lean turkey. The burgers are positioned as premium, and are expensive, with a single, larger patty, priced between $16 and $20, depending on toppings and protein. A Bay Area-based chain, Roam offers a small modern dining room in Town Center with limited counter seatings. Orders are placed at the counter, with an outdoor pickup window for to-go orders. This was our first time dining in, but we've ordered before via the delivery apps, and their burgers are reliably tasty.

I found this place as I was asking around for a great burger place and I found this amazing gem. I ordered a Bison Tejano burger and my daughter ordered a Bison Pacific Blue burger. They both had a lot of avocado and they were super delicious. I don't think they lasted more than a couple of minutes before they were completely devoured. The portions were sufficient and I luckily had enough room for their dessert ( My daughter had a salted caramel milkshake and I had a Vanilla/Chocolate swirl soft serve cone with the Guittard Chocolate Shell for that old school memory feeling) . We ended up taking the Korean BBQ sandwiches to go and they were the best chicken sandwiches we ever had ( especially from a burger spot ) and a Corn Chowder soup for the ride to the airport. The service was fantastic and Mirella was so pleasant and patient. The service staff was super friendly including a gentleman named Rafael who went above and beyond to help us out with deciding ( there's so many tasty options) and we will definitely be coming back soon on our next trip to California. The ambiance is a heartwarming atmosphere. They played excellent music ( not too loud either ) and the setup is unlike any other burger shop. 11 stars all around for the unforgettable experience. 1000% recommended

Garlic Parmesan fries and spicy fried chicken sandwich
    Jessica M.

This restaurant is located in the Corte Madera Town Center right off of the freeway exit. Parking was pretty easy to find. Went on my lunch break at work, but I beat the lunch rush. The cashiers were super friendly and helpful with helping me choose what to order as this was my first time visiting. They were patient while I read the entire menu. Ambiance was great. It was a little chilly and the tables sit big groups so I sat alone at a table that looks as if a group of 5-6 should sit there. A lot of the tables were like that. They do have outdoor seating but it was too chilly for that. I opted for the spicy fried chicken sandwich as I usually like the Nashville style flavor and a side of russet fries. I added the garlic Parmesan seasoning to the fries. For my drink, I ordered Arnold Palmer and I like my drinks on the sweeter side so the cashier was nice enough to add some agave for me. I dined in and it was pretty empty when I first arrived which was nice but by the time my food was brought to my table, it filled up quickly! Arnold Palmer: delicious and refreshing. The agave addition gave it the perfect amount of sweetness I like. Garlic Parmesan fries: also really good. Cooked perfectly. I went to the self served area on the side where you can get ketchup and hot sauce. They had this chipotle habanero hot sauce that I added to the ketchup and it was really good. Spicy fried chicken sandwich: now the chicken patty was huge! Hung over the bun, which I can appreciate, but the sauce? It was runny and almost reminiscent of a marinara sauce? It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't thick or spicy or what I would usually expect from a Nashville type sauce. Again, it tasted good, but more of a chicken patty with a runny marinara sauce. It didn't taste like pasta sauce, but that was the consistency of it. Hard to describe. Would have to come back and try a regular burger next time lol it was served with a slaw and pickles. Service was great! Parking situation was easy. Definitely would come back to try something else.

    Swirl with toffee bits
    Brittany D.

I can only speak on the chocolate/vanilla swirl soft serve but it is so tasty!!!! I love the toffee bits that we chose as a topping. Only thing was it melted pretty quickly. I wondered why because it was cold and somewhat cloudy outside, so the ambient temperature wasn't to blame. I feel like if you're in the mood for something sweet, I would def recommend this place. The restaurant also has a bar and tv if you wanna catch your favorite sports team!

So happy Roam Burgers made it to Marin. Their tasty burgers had me drooling the last time I went to their location in Oakland, but it closed. They have a couple of locations in SF, and they decided to come to this side of the 415 - smart move. I get the Heritage, and their refreshing lemonade. If you're not into bougie burgers like my husband, this place may not be your jam. Even their sugar is fancy when he poured it into his iced tea, which made it taste different. He's used to sweet tea, I'm like sorry not in Corte Madera. There's no shortage of burger places in Marin, but Roam sets the bar high, and I love supporting local and the Bay Areaaaaaa. The owner chose a great location on this side of Corte Madera at Town Center. Long ago, there used to be McDonald's, The Counter, and CPK...going down memory lane. 'Til next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Went here after hiking. Burgers were a good size and delicious. Sweet potato fries were a perfect crisp. I got the coffee shake and that was super delicious. Food came out fast.

    My amazing heritage burger!
    Cindy W.

My team had a lunch break today here at Roam. I had looked at the Yelp score and thought meh and was a bit dismissive. I am delighted to report my burger went way beyond expectation. I got the Heritage burger that comes with bacon and aged cheddar lettuce, tomato aioli and I added avocado but it certainly didn't need it.. it would've been as rich and filling without. It was also about a 12 napkin juice level.! I also sampled the fries and they were crispy on the outside but moist and tender on the inside . The service was pretty fast for custom ordered burgers . They play a nice modern and jovial music selection. And I loved all the green plants and the lower lighting., the prices seem compatible with the quality. I can comfortably recommend!!!

Chalet Burger ~(bottom-$14.50) Pacific Blue Burger ~(top-$14.50)
    Katy Z.

We came by for a late lunch a little bit before 2pm. We ordered the Chalet Burger w/ house sauce on the side, beef on a whole grain bun, medium rare ($14.50) and the Pacific Blue Burger: beef on a whole grain bun, added yellow mustard and mayo medium rare ($14.50). I had a gift card for $25 I wanted to use. the self service was confusing for the giftcard. It didnt end up going through so we had to wait in line to void the transaction and do it again with the server. It took a little longer to process, but it ended up working out. Once you order, you can get self service water cups and find a seat. The burgers came on fairly quickly. The buns were toasted perfectly and the burger held together well. The chalet burger was very tasty. The fresh veggies and tomato with sauced mushrooms and juicy beef patty just hit the spot. I enjoyed the sauce on the side so I could control the amount but also dip the burger so each bite had the house sauce. It's a little pricer for a burger without fries or a side but the quality is definitely there. The store was clean with plenty of tables inside and out. The service was quick and friendly. And the burgers were really good.

    $18 Garlic Parmesan Fries ~
    Finn K.

Our order came incomplete. They forgot to add toppings to a $16 burger! Then did not give a refund when I confronted the issue. Overall, the food was OK but not worth the price.

I enjoy getting lunch at Roam. The burgers are great and the truffle fries are my favorite on the menu, also the oreo shakes are really good. All the staff there are friendly and always in a good mood.

    Sunny side burger and fries
    Adriana F.

Roam Burgers has always been one of my favorite burger restaurants in SF. I was so excited to hear that they opened a location at the Town Center Corte Madera. My personal favorite is the Sunny Side Burger (pictured here). You can choose your choice of protein, which I typically opt for the grass-fed beef, and you can choose your type of bun (pictured here is the brioche bun). The Sunny Side Burger includes Pasture Raised Egg, Aged White Cheddar, Caramelized Onions, Arugula Greens, Tomato, Chili Sauce. The sunny side egg, caramelized onions, and chili sauce are my favorite toppings on the burger. They offer other styles of burgers, such as the popular Heritage Burger, chicken entrées, and a wide array of artisan toppings if you'd like to create your own style. You can pair your entrée with sides like fries, salads, veggies, etc. They also offer great seasonal entrées and sides. If you're in the area or shopping at the mall, it's worth visiting. It's fantastic every time!

Korean BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich ~

Roam! Will never disappointed, I tried the new Korean chicken sandwich OMG! So delicious ask extra sauce just to deep it on it, you won't regret! Ambience is just calm and joyful. Restaurant is clean and nicely organized, you should try the homemade popsicles authentic flavor, can't believe home many kids are just making the line for those.. I will definitely come back for the Asian salad and keep you posted. Staff are so friendly and helpful to drive you through the menu.

Lots of seating inside as well as outside. It was a nice day but a little too warm so we opted to sit inside. You have to order at the counter/register before you find your seat. Salad was a big portion, came with lettuce, beets, chickpeas, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, quinoa, feta, hummus, the falafel of course and a tahini dressing. Super refreshing. I'd order it again. Everything paired well together. The poke tacos order came with 3. The spicy mayo was a nice touch. Again, would order this again. For our drinks, i ordered a Paloma and my friend got a margarita. Drinks were refreshing. Not that strong but still good. Even though you have to order up front, they have someone coming to clean the tables and he even came while we were still sitting down, which was nice. Staff was friendly and pleasant! Will definitely be coming back to try other things. They have a lot of things to choose from, plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non), as well as desserts! A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.

Curated furniture are displayed on the first and second floors. The third floor is where the magic happens, with its iconic chandeliers, elegant fountain, and olive trees creating a stunning ambiance. No matter where you're seated, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Corte Madera outdoor mall and surrounding hills. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We were seated inside, and the views didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered a glass of white wine while my partner enjoyed a mimosa. The restaurant doesn't offer a full cocktail bar, but that wasn't an issue for us. The menu offers a great selection, but I already knew what I wanted after browsing it before our reservation. I ordered the whole grilled branzino with grilled broccolini, and my partner chose the lobster roll. Both dishes were beautifully presented. My deboned branzino was cooked perfectly--moist and flaky with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The seasoning was simple, just the way I like it, allowing the flavors of the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon to shine. The broccolini was perfectly cooked with a bright citrus finish. Even my partner, who isn't usually a seafood fan, really enjoyed both the fish and the broccolini. The fish was incredibly fresh with no fishy aroma, and the broccolini had the perfect al dente texture. My partner's lobster roll was equally impressive. The lobster was sweet, tender, and generously portioned, served on perfectly toasted brioche that complemented the filling without overpowering it. The portion sizes were just right. We didn't need a to-go box and we left feeling completely satisfied without feeling overly full. Although we skipped dessert, we were celebrating a milestone, and our thoughtful waiter surprised us with a warm chocolate chip cookie. It was absolutely delicious--fresh from the oven with melted, gooey chocolate in every bite. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Service throughout our visit was prompt and friendly, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming. The restaurant was well maintained, including the restrooms, which were clean and well attended. Overall, RH Rooftop Restaurant in Corte Madera delivered an exceptional first experience. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, attentive service, and breathtaking views, it's a place we'll definitely return to.

Our server said he would he back to take our dessert order, and was gone for sooooo long! Was not lost on me. But!!' By NA cuke mojito was the yummiest thing, as were the shared fries!!!! Not sure I would return..... Yountville branch was sooo yummy though......

The service was super friendly and I appreciated how attentive and quick the servers were for such a packed and busy restaurant. I ordered the wedge salad, which was tasty, but I feel like the lettuce could have been fresher as there were a couple of wilted parts. I enjoyed the addition of the crispy onions, and it had the perfect amount of dressing. My friend ordered the burger and said it was flavorful and the Gouda paired well with it. I stole some of their fried and we both agreed they were a solid fry. All in all a nice spot to stop for lunch, or to watch a sports game with some good food and drinks.

Excellent spot for watching the Warriors. Elevated bar food with great pricing. Me likes the Grilled Broccolini in black truffle salsa verde. Doesn't everybody love tater tot's? Nice tap beer selection and full bar. Best hang in Downtown San Rafael... Gets better with each visit ! Bombdigity! Love this joint!!!!

This is my second visit here, but this is my first review (I forgot to review my last visit!). But…read morethis time there were more of us! This place is very nice all around. Good location, plenty of parking across the street in a public garage, nice décor and ambiance, wonderful staff, and a good menu, although it is light on vegetarian options; but if you are not a picky vegetarian, you can still leave happy and fed. There is plenty of indoor seating, and even a nice side patio protected from sun and wind; however, being alongside 3rd Street, a rather busy street, it can be a bit noisy. As nice as the day was, we opted to dine inside so we could chat. They have some good appetizers, and we chose the onion rings and the must-try Ooey Cheesy Balls (5 fried potato balls, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, house-made smoked jalapeno aioli). The onion rings are plentiful and not at all greasy, a great start to the meal, but the anchor of the apps (for me at least!) are the Cheesy balls. They are different: basically mashed potato balls with cheese inside, deep-fried, and delicious! The house-made smoked jalapeño aioli is awesome too, and it's my preferred dip for the onion rings. For the entrees, I tried a pizza for once, after seeing many good reviews. I tried the Blue pizza (Garlic & herb olive oil, mozzarella, blue cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushroom, red onion). We also had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (Butter lettuce, tomato, fresh slaw, pickle slices, house- made smoked jalapeno aioli (mild), brioche bun), the Chicken Salad Sandwich (Poached chicken, celery, parsley, dill, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, mayonnaise, focaccia bread) with an added mashed potatoes for a side, and a Chicken Pesto Panini (Pesto, roasted bell pepper, spinach, provolone, mayonnaise, focaccia bread). All the meals were very fresh, and the food was great! The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich was a tower to look at, with two breasts as the main feature. The other sandwiches were well liked as well, but I know I was the lucky one with the pizza for lunch. If you like blue cheese, this is a great pizza you don't often find elsewhere. The toppings were just right, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more blue cheese, and the olive oil base instead of a red sauce was perfect for letting the flavors really come through, with the cheese, meaty chunks of mushrooms, and onions all balancing each other. The crust was a separate delight, a very thin sourdough type with a crust worthy of eating on its own - and it was! Sadly, between the appetizers and the entrees, there was no room for a dessert, and we all took home some of our lunches, and two of us brought home food for others! Always share the goodness . . . Can't wait for the next visit!
