Love this place !!!!!! Love the atmosphere. They were out of alot of things and the server seem like he had or was having a rough night , hence the menus still on the table . We sat at high top table which was very small considering it's small plates/tapas . But as long as the server pre bus you'll be fine however my sever did not. I still had a good time the food was tasty ! I like the area it was a nice outing

We had such a positive experience at Barcelona for brunch. We went very early, 11:30 AM, and it was pretty empty in there so it was nice to experience the restaurant and it wasn't loud and crowded. We ordered so many things! For beverages we ordered one wine fly, red sangria, that we weren't very impressed with, and a cocktail that was like the bees knees. I think the drinks were OK. One of the things that I always note when I go to Barcelona is that the sangria seems very watered down and doesn't give you that Spanish true feeling of Of a a good sangria. For our food, we ordered a bunch of tacos, of course! We ordered croquettes, a charcuterie board to begin, spinach and chickpeas, grilled prawns, meatballs, beef, empanadas, acorn, squash, and a bunch of other things. I think the food was OK. The portion size for what we ordered and the amount that we ordered made sense. Overall, I'm just not very impressed with Barcelona in general, I feel like there are much better top of restaurants in the city, and even though the food was good, it didn't have a true depth the flavor and most of the dishes were missing something to me! A lot of the dishes needed more spice, so the dishes were seasoned, but didn't have flavor, it was all very hit and miss. But in all honesty, I think my review is this high because of the staff here. Everyone was really nice and made it a point to make our experience pleasant. Again, we were the first reservation seated for the day so the restaurant was quiet and not busy. There was a DJ!

One thing about me, I love and appreciate a tapas restaurant. To be able to order different food and share is definitely my favorite type of way to eat. I've been here multiple times & you can never go wrong with Gambas Al Ajillo or the Patatas Bravas. The octopus is a hit or miss sometimes it's very tender and sometimes tough a chewy. I love sitting out in the patio when I come here. Service is always great , everytime I've gone a manager comes by to greet us and make sure everything is good

This is a cool tapas & winery bar at Inman Park. All the small plates we ordered were delicious. The shrimp gambas were a standout & the empanadas were packed with flavor. Long & plentiful list of wines. The Olive cake was to die for, light & fluffy. A must try!

Great spot for some drinks and tapas but a few things that gave it 4 stars. We had reservations but it took awhile to get us seated. Then they didn't bring out bread until halfway through our meal. The sangria was delicious and most of everything we ordered was good. We were warned Paella would take an hour and since we weren't in a rush, we ordered it. Yup, it took about an hour. It was ok! A bit mushy and flavor was ok. All in all, a beautiful restaurant and good ambience.

Barcelona is always on and popping and this location on north highland ave is no different. Lots of beautiful people, delicious tapas and drinks. I stopped by while I waited for my reservation time at another restaurant. I had the Prawns a la parilla while my friend had the calamari la plancha (our go to many nights ) while we enjoyed, we weren't wowed, maybe another night. My drink was tasty, not too sweet. All in all a great place to pop in to meet friends, bar hop, or a cute date

Barcelona wine bar is perf for a date or girls night! I went twice at different times in the evening and the ambience was really nice both times. The food came relatively fast and the staff is very helpful about any food restrictions. My favorite is the patatas bravas and chicken thigh. The bacon wrapped dates are definitley worth trying and I've had the paella before and enjoyed it. My friend said the calamari was good as well.

Really a nice vibe! Very lively even for a Monday evening. We got there a few minutes after our reservation but were still able to be seated. We got the standard charcuterie board, brussels sprouts, cabbage, salmon, sweet potato etc. And we also tried a white wine and both of the sangrias. It was a great night and our waitresses were very knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. For parking, park in the lot right beside the restaurant and they will validate upon entry.

I love Barcelona. I was familiar with this restaurant because we have one in Charlotte also. I found the size of this particular location to be good, with plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. When we visited, it was a perfect night for sitting outdoors, so we did and enjoyed the service on the patio. The manager greeted us upon arrival, seated us and gave a recommendation for wine, which was half off on the day that we visited so we got a bottle. Tried various dishes, which all came out promptly and were seasoned well and tasted good. The servers were all extremely nice, and went above and beyond to make Our visit memorable. I find the prices to be reasonable, and the portions are perfect for sharing. I also had to order sangria, which I love so much, theirs always very flavorful and refreshing.

One of my favorite wine bars!! Beautiful place to take a friend or yourself and enjoy some great tapas! I love their patio area and their inside area. It's always busy so you should definitely book reservations unless you're dropping by for a drink. Such a lively spot and the best charcuterie board selections. This is an Atlanta staple and a must try if you've never been. I always have this on rotation for my out of town friends.

Omg! We had the most amazing time! There was a woman that was the general manager for the night and I wish I remembered her name but she took such good care of us this past cinco de mayo weekend! It was so busy and she not only brought out additional seating for us but sent us a tapa for our time! Top tier service from both her and the server! The ambiance is amazing, very rustic, very grown and sexy. The trout a la plancha was out of this world ! We also received the drunken goat cheese and I am drooling thinking about it. Gambas al ajillo is also a must! We had so much bread which is always fresh and warm! It's a must go- and I haven't even touched the wine but the selection is vast!

    Chicken thigh. Super good!

My friends and I came here last night for the first time. We had reservations but still ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes to be seated. The place was packed and super loud inside. That said, they did offer us complimentary sangrias for the wait, which was a nice gesture. The atmosphere is lively and definitely has a fun, buzzing vibe. It's a cute spot if you're into small bites and sharing plates. The staff overall seemed nice, and two managers even came over to personally welcome us, apologize for the wait, and explain the menu, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our server wasn't as warm or friendly as the rest of the staff. She seemed like she might've had a long day (which I totally understand!) but she didn't smile much, forgot our second round of drinks, and the food took a while to come out. Overall, it's a good spot for a night out with friends, especially if you're looking to try a variety of dishes. Just be prepared for a busy atmosphere and potentially slower service during peak hours.

A great way to enjoy a wonderful dining experience in a truly Spanish atmosphere! Service is exceptional and the menu variety is excellent! Highly recommended for a special dining experience! Thanks!

Barcelona Inman Park Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Barcelona Inman Park

    Is there happy hour?

Unknown. But the weekend brunch is fun and quiet.

Any chance of basque cheesecake being on the dessert menu from time to time?

It is on the menu yes.

When are 1/2 priced wine nights now? I don't see any info lately on their website

Hey Susy, thanks so much for reaching out. We don't have our half-priced bottle nights at the moment, but we do always have a selection of our favorite bottles available for take home at 50% off. Hope to hang out again soon!

    Are there gluten free options?

Definitely. The menu is tapas so there are several different options for all dietary needs. Just ask your waiter

    Do you still allow dogs?

Yes... we are very dog friendly.

Is it easy to find parking ? How much is valet?

Free valet with validation. There is a parking garage close by (paid) and some street parking (difficult to find)

Why is this place not good for kids?

Well it's a wine bar and they don't have a kid friendly menu .

    Do they have vegan options?

Plenty of vegan tapas-- shishito peppers, patatas bravas (be sure to order them crispy!), eggplant, heirloom tomato salad, etc. to name a few. I would guess in the range of 6-10.

Do they still offer half price bottles of wine? If so, on what days?

    Yes, Mondays

HAD A BLAST!!! What a great way to kick-off the Holidays! Tapa Tapa is now an ongoing pop-up…read morerestaurant, so they have different themed venues throughout the year. The Christmas pop-up just began and we were there right soon after they opened their doors ob Tuesday night. If going here doesn't get you in the Christmas festivities mood I don't know what will. The place is over-decorated and that is the point. It is all things Christmas and is warm, comfortable, and an overload for the senses. Lights, decorations, artwork, Christmas movies on their big screen, Christmas music on their speakers all contribute to a fun, lively environment. And, of course, there is also a Christmas-themed drink and tapas menu. Drinks are served in various Christmas glasses and mugs, all of which you can buy to take home if you'd like. They also have a seasonal line-up of craft beer. My wife had a Christmapolitan and I had the Yippie Ki Yay, both were delicious and packed a punch. For food we ordered: Donner & Blitzen (charcuterie board) - simple, yet great tasting meats & veggies Frosty Fries (fries w/warm beer cheese) - even though this was a good amount of fries, we had wished that we ordered two of these because they were that incredibly tasty. The beer cheese is killer with these hand-cut parmesan fries! Felix Navidad (brisket tacos) - these were flavorful, but they were only two small tacos for $11; for the money, I would definitely get something else next time. Gingerbread & Friends (cookies) - we got these for dessert, but would suggest a pass on them as they are just store-bought little cookies that you can ice and add sprinkles. This was a fun, memorable experience and anyone who enjoys the magic of Christmas should find their way to Tapa Tapa before the Christmas pop-up ends after the holidays.

Nothing to look at. Dismal inside. Was here for a private event. Cluttered hallways, bathrooms…read moreyucky. The food was delicious though. Not sure if the menu was special for us because we didn't have tapas.

Yum YUMMYY! I really…read moredon't know where to start but I absolutely love Buena Vida! I guess thats a great place :) location, Location, LOCATION! I admire that area of Buena Vida. All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

Came to this restaurant conveniently placed right off the beltline on Wednesday afternoon to catch…read moreup with my girlfriends. It's always a good time when we meet up with my friends cause the conversation and fellowship is always so sweet, however this time I'd say it was somewhat interrupted. The live music/saxophonist is nice however, it's overbearing. There's a soundtrack playing in the background in addition to the saxophonist and honestly it's just too much. There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute as there is indoor and outdoor seating but honestly, I'm not that eager to go back.
