I discovered Anthony B's Pizza & Pasta listed #15 after searching pizza options via yelp within a radius of the Maywood area. Once I noted that it was the closest to me, plus offered the online ordering option it was then I considered, chose and made my way to this restaurant. Since I had no interest in ordering a large pizza, I ended up selecting the 10'' build your own pizza regular crust, with spinach as my topping which was only 0.75 cents extra. It made my day to see that the restaurant had RC Cola on its menu as one of the soda options which I absolutely love. Ordering online allowed me to pick up my order and go, then conduct additional errands in the area. By the time I arrived at Anthony B's my order was waiting for me behind the counter. I was well on my way after verifying that I was picking up an order, and my name. While waiting for the employee to grab my order, I adored the display of Elmo holding a pizza at the register which I thought was very cute! Grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again is very high. As for my order, I would be lying if I said the regular crust pizza with spinach was not good because I was very satisfied with the taste of it. I enjoyed each square cut piece, devouring them all very quickly. I am glad that I considered Anthony B's because I would not have had the opportunity to taste the goodness of their pizza. I am well open to ordering from Anthony B's Pizza & Pasta again if in the area as the time goes on. And as yelp recommended it to me for pizza, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all. Q's has had my interest since discovering it sometime ago while in search of "pizza". At the time of my discovery, its 4.6 rating out of (120+) was the assurance I needed that I would have a quality experience, plus an endorsement from my barber. Looking through the menu, I took interest in items like the baked tilapia, eggplant sandwich, eggplant parmigiana, shrimp alfredo, pasta with broccoli sauce, and their pizza of course! Out of all, I ended up ordering their eggplant sandwich, which came with a side of crinkle cut fries. Whether it be Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it is convenient. Most of the time my orders are completed upon my arrival or near complete. By the time I arrived at Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria my order was waiting behind the counter during this ordering experience. Picking up was just confirming my name, ordering platform, and I was well on my way. I am grateful to have had a smooth online ordering experience because the likelihood of me ordering online again at the location is very high. As for my order, the eggplant sandwich smelled so wonderful once I got inside my vehicle and got my first whiff of it. It was then that I realized I had a 12.7-mile drive back to my residence in Chicago. If there was any time I would have loved for someone to take the wheel of my vehicle, it would have been that moment so that I could enjoy my eggplant sandwich. I was pleased to see the generous portions given of the eggplant sandwich and crinkle cut fries once I opened the styrofoam container. Oh my was it delicious! I will say this! Eggplant sandwiches taste better than the name appears if you have not had one before. I am quite positive that I will order it again as time goes by because it sure was satisfying. So satisfying and filling that I did not have any room for the crinkle cut fries, which I barely touched and ended up eating the following day. If you are looking for something to order on the menu at Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria, I recommend the eggplant sandwich because you will not be let down. In closing I had a good experience as I have indicated in this review of Q's Restaurant & Pizzeria. I could surely see myself ordering from again off-and-on when I am in the area likely for a haircut. And as it was introduced to me via Uber Eats, I share my endorsement of it as well with you all on yelp. I loved that they had a small outdoor patio to enjoy the weather and be connected with the busy downtown. Their menu had starters, pastas, pizzas, and entrees in a curated format. They serve wine and beer regularly but have a rotating specials menu for cocktails and food. Our server let us know that the bruschetta rotates weekly which is cool. For mains, I got the Ricotta Gnocchi. All of that pastas are clearly homemade. The gnocchi was certainly pillowy and paired nicely with the creamy truffle sauce. My husband got the Orecchiette pasta which could have had a more prominent sauce to it. Overall, the pasta was fresh and ingredients tasted of good quality. The portions for price point seemed a little off as dishes didn't come with a bread basket nor side salad. I wish we would have gotten either a bit more pasta or something else to make the price feel of value. Either way, this was a nice spot to enjoy good company at. Our server, Nina, could not have been nicer and more attentive to our group.

It was late, and we were stuck staying a short night at the Quality Inn near O'Hare due to a missed connection, so our options for food delivery were limited. Our van driver recommended Nick & Bruno's - I called, the person who answered was nice, and they specified 45 minutes for delivery. An hour and a half later, nearing 1 am and deathly ready for a nap, I meet the driver outside our hotel and carry an unusually heavy box of pizza into the room to the relief of my hungry travel companions. We opened the lid to reveal a pizza, with much of the (mountainous pile of) cheese moved to one half of the pie, extending well beyond the crust into the box, where it had congealed and adhered. All of this we could live with if the pizza just tasted okay. It did not. The sauce was weak (and light), the crust was bland and lifeless (was supposed to be "pan" with a golden buttery crust), and the several pounds of cheese had hardened into a weirdly oozy disc on top of it all. Even just getting a slice out was nigh on impossible without the cheese dumping off, as it had been insufficiently cut. I ate one piece. My son ate one piece. My wife ate one piece. I wrapped up the rest of it to take to the airport for breakfast. What comes next is the worst part of all this - after one slice each, we felt a bit of tummy discomfort. My son and I refused to eat any more. But my wife proceeded to eat 4 more slices over the next day...and is currently, 2 days later, paying the price with what appears to be some level of food poisoning. She's been eating mostly toast and bananas since the pizza, and is right now sending me to the store for Pepto and ginger ale. I've probably eaten a thousand different pizzas in my lifetime and this one managed to be the worst - and that includes cafeteria and frozen pies. It's funny, Chicago is supposed to be this great pizza city yet I'm consistently left wanting by the ones we get there. Maybe Nick & Bruno's other pizza styles are better? Maybe it's a one-off thing? Regardless, this was a poorly spent $30 and I would urge you to try something else.
