Great breakfast spot, friendly service . You'll leave full. Never had anything I didn't enjoy here. Favorite is the hash browns delight. Parking available. Be prepared to wait if you come with a group. Counter seating also available.

Hubby took me to breakfast at this hole in the wall diner. Don't blink or eyes or you will miss it! Super small inside. The decor is old and booths weren't very comfortable, just needs some updating. If we are rating food alone definitely a 4 star place. Portions were great, came out hot and it was so so good!!! Our server was very friendly. Price was $40 before tip.

    Friendly waitress!

Decided to walk down here for breakfast after dropping the car off at Les Schwab for some servicing. The reviews were great and the idea of an old school diner was awesome, so we went. Immediately loved the ambiance! Totally old school, down home, small town vibes. Service was amazing and just what you'd expect from a small diner. Food was good, not great-but worth ordering again. I had the meat and cheese omelet (sausage and cheddar), side of bacon, and my wife went with the chicken breast salad with hamburger patty substituted for chicken breast, with blue cheese dressing. Omelet was HUGE! Bacon was skimpy but tasty. Salad was like one you'd make at home but still really good, hamburger Patty was bland. The hash browns were the best! So good, and they had chipotle and Jalapeño Tabasco sauce (staples in my household!), which was a nice touch.

Wow wow wow - AMAZING breakfast at The Junction Diner in Poulsbo today. My husband and I try a new place every weekend, and today we landed at The Junction Diner. To start, this spot has so much charm and nostalgia in how it's set up. Regulars galore, Terri (the amazing server manning the entire restaurant) knew at least 75% of the people that came in by name. The food though, and that stellar chef (I didn't catch her name but man is she cool), I asked for a breakfast sandwich and for the chef to basically make me her dream sandwich. Sausage, spinach, tomato, egg, cheese, Mayo - insanely good and cooked like a grilled cheese... My love language is all things grilled cheese. My husband had a huge portion of chicken fried steak that he devoured as well. Not only was the food amazing, the banter and the people truly made our day. Prices were SO great as well, so know going in that you get a lot of bang for your buck. I'm honestly disappointed that I'm just now discovering this tiny hidden gem, but we will be back for lunch very soon. To note, they're open 6am to 2pm, closed Sundays, and small joint but lovely outdoor setup for sunny days. Thank you Terri and the phenomenal chef for such a wonderful time!

Updated menu prices. For example Veggie Omelette went from $11.99 to $16.99. Price of pie hasn't changed.

I got the breakfast sandwich with a sausage patty and it was AWESOME!!! I took a star off because they didn't have the corned beef hash. Check it out.

This is a great little (literally, the place is super small!) dive joint for breakfast and lunch. We stopped on our way through town and were lucky to have a booth open up shortly after we got there. A couple of kind patrons also offered to make room at the counter, but we ended up taking the booth. The food here is standard, no frills, diner fare. We tried the French Dip, the Junction Scramble, and the Mushroom Swiss burgers. The food came out in a timely manner and was tasty! Service is excellent and friendly. Thanks for a delish meal on our way to Port Angeles!

It comes with fresh-made Envy chips and their special dipping sauce-delicious. Even their bottomless soda is a bargain at $3.89. It was the most reasonable, pleasant meal we have had out in awhile-$35 for both of us. We will go again on a different night to try another of their specials.

I totally respect the bottom line for restaurants, as I want them to stay in business. Well, at least the ones that have good food and great customer service. However, soybean oil is one of the worst oils for humans to consume because it is so very high in omega six and generally causes severe inflammation in most people. Dang! Their wings are so tasty, and such a great deal on wing Wednesday. They cook with no flour which is great for my Ketogenic lifestyle. I was so hooked and becoming a regular for those wings. But unfortunately that terrible oil will keep me away now that I know it is what they fry in. It's a sad moment!

We generally make sure to stop by whenever we're in Poulsbo or just passing through. Seating is at a premium, with only 3 small, indoor tables, and about 6 seats at the bar. When the weather is good, there are 3 small tables outside. During rush times, all seats can fill. Parking can also be problematic, which can be frustrating. There just aren't that many spots. Service is generally good, and the staff attentive. Online orders through their website almost never work well, however. Two times in a row we showed up at the designated time, only to find that out order had not been made, and we had to spend valuable time clarifying or just plain telling them that we had an order (which we had paid for).

Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Our server, Jennifer Burnett, was noticeably warm and attentive to another group nearby, but with us, the service felt dismissive and disengaged. For example, my husband ordered an Aperol spritz, and when they were out, we substituted Campari--but what arrived resembled a raspberry sparkling water, not even close to what Campari tastes like. When we brought it up, the response felt very brushed off. It's disappointing because the setting and food have so much potential, but service matters. I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere in Poulsbo--there are plenty of great spots along the main strip that offer both good food and a better overall experience.
